As the name suggests, the interiors are palatial. The grand entrance, hints of gold, spacious corridors laden with carpets and plush rooms.

I stayed for 2 nights in the Grand Deluxe King Room overlooking the canal. The room was very spacious, with its own little walk-in wardrobe and an enormous bathroom. The bed is super duper comfy, and that’s where I spent most of my time just relaxing.

The overall hotel staff are fantastic. There was a little misunderstanding before my stay and it was immediately looked into and dealt with. Also a special mention to Carlo who checked us in, and the front office manager Raoul. The Habtoor Palace is part of a complex with another 2 hotels, so you have quite a few dining options within walking distance. Also do not miss the La Perle show attraction next door.

One afternoon ordered some room service for lunch, and it was fantastic. The make-shift table they bring in, resembling almost a fine dining atmosphere is wonderful.

Also HIGHLY recommend the Silk Spa at the hotel, it's brilliant!

2 concerns I did have regarding the property were:
1. During this pandemic time people are slowly garnering the confidence to go out, specially a staycation. Many of the room on my floor had the sticker on the door that their room has been cleaned/disinfected, and no one entered after that but you. The sticker on my door somehow was given a miss. Not saying the room wasn’t cleaned, but that extra step which guarantees satisfaction was missed.
2. Post the room service lunch a staff collected the dishes. We switch on the “do not disturb” and headed for a quick nap. When suddenly woken up by the incessant knocking at our door. Seems like another staff was there to collect the dishes. For one, I had DND activated and the staff did not even apologise for having disturbed us, and two, there should have been coordination amongst the staff that initially came and cleared our room.

With so much choice in Dubai, it took time to decide where to spend a short holiday last December. We decided to try Habtoor Palace Dubai with some doubts, as we did not know anything about the LXR Hotels brand. However, within a day of arrival, we realised that we've made absolutely the right choice and the rest of the stay did not disappoint.
We were welcomed by very professional staff and ushered to a superbly appointed suite, very spacious and elegant, the bathroom so large and luxurious was very impressive.
The hotel is regal, but without being exaggeratedly large - as it often happens in Dubai. There are beautiful flower arrangements everywhere, a cozy coffee place with a view to the gardens and an abundant afternoon tea. And the breakfast room is stylishly decorated in a very European way.
The Champagne bar is stunning, but the best was definitely the World Cut Steakhouse. The staff was so dedicated and professional, the steak delicious and cook to perfection and what a pleasant surprise: the prices are so fair compared to any other steakhouse we have visited in Dubai!
We were delighted with the music, both the piano and the lady singer are amazing.
We also had a lovely dinner at the French Brasserie, the food was simply delicious and again, the prices are so reasonable that it is even hard to believe for the great service and quality you get. They also had live music there.
It was a wonderful stay, fantastic food and service, we will be definitely coming back soon!

We stayed at Habtoor Palace after staying in our usual hotel in Dubai Marina for a few days in October. Great location being so close to Dubai Mall/Downtown. Taxis were always readily available at the front entrance so made it easy to get around.

Our room was amazing with probably the nicest hotel bathroom I’ve ever seen. Loved the free standing bath and the Acqua di Parma amenities. Breakfast could be slightly more varied when comparing to other hotel buffets but still really nice.
When staying at the hotel you can use all 3 of the Hilton properties rooftop pools. We only used the Habtoor Palace pool which was lovely and quiet with great service.

We had afternoon tea at Sidra which I would highly recommend (2 for 1 offer on Entertainer app, such good value!). We also had dinner in World Cut Steakhouse on our last evening. This is one of the best steak restaurants I’ve eaten in, expensive but definitely worth it.

We have booked to come back to the hotel at the end of March and already can’t wait to return!

I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights during Xmas and new year.

This hotel looks amazing and definitely looks like a 5* hotel however there are many things wrong with this hotel.

Breakfast was very limited and one day it was so busy that we were put on the sofas outside the cafe. On one occasion we were given a menu saying we could order from the menu but then on other days we were never given a menu. Very inconsistent.

Our bed was terrible the mattress was out of shape and very uncomfortable. I have stayed in a premier inn hotel and the bed was more comfortable.

I ordered a fried egg and a piece of toast from the hotel for my son. I was charged 80dhs (£17) for this. I then questioned the bill and was then advised that this was wrong and it was 45dhs instead. However if I never questioned this I’m not so sure they would have amended the invoice.

My son (2 years old) does not sleep without milk and when I ordered this from the hotel they would charge me 40dhs for a glass of milk. They picked and choose when they wanted to charge me and when they didn’t.

One day I left the hotel for about 6 hours in the day and when I left I asked for my room to be cleaned. When I returned to the room it was not cleaned To my disappointment. I then called the butler service complaining and was advised someone would come right away. I informed them that my son is now going to sleep and that I will contact them when I am going out again. However, without listening to what I said they sent the cleaners ringing the bell of the room waking my son.

The phone in the toilet was broken and was never fixed.

For the money that I paid I was very disappointed and will not be staying here again.

Iam writing this review in order to make some serious comments.
My husband and I choose this hotel and opted for the Full Board.

As we arrived in the hotel restaurants we take our room number and gave us menus to select our food. At end they would raise Bill for the meals and sy this was NOT included.

I made a complain to Raul the manager four days ago and he has not reimbursed us for restaurant charges. Also he seems not to have placed any importance to this concern.

Also, the hotel has 7 restaurants but if you choose full board not all of these are actually available. Also, you can not drink or eat anything in your room, swimming pool, or beach, even having a full board menu because it is not included.

The hotel says going beach at Waldorf is included, but transport hours very limited and also you need to book in advance (usual response not available). Oh also you will not be able to use the swimming pool of the Waldorf facilities even if you got there!

What I think about this hotel is communication with the client does not make things clear and hides important information. I am disappointed that such a marvellous, beautiful chain does not, in this instance, match magnificence service!

I would hesitate to book Habtoor Palace again. :-(

We stayed at Habtoor Palace for our Honeymoon stay in Dubai and their service was hands down one of the best I’ve ever experienced. They did not skip a beat in making sure we were very well taken care of (Udit, supervisor of concierge was a master at this!). They had our best interest in mind by asking what we had planned for our stay and made recommendations based on best days, times, and even weather. The hotel itself is gorgeous and elegant with beautiful rooms. There is a lovely pianist who starts playing late afternoon into early evening. Afternoon tea at Sidra was lovely and World Cut was the best dinner we had! Definitely hope to return to Habtoor Palace!

We booked through Luxury Escapes which included tickets to La Perle a really excellent Vegas style show. As a Diamond Hilton Member every attention was provided to us during our stay but the Luxury Escapes package is a very good one. Very simply, hotel in every respect was superb. Food/ restaurants, Room, Service, People, Facilities and ambience. The hotel and its team could not have provided anything further. We also liked the location mid point city to Palm and next to the new canal/ creek which has extensive walking opportunities.
We met the GM and his deputy, both very into their guest service. The Deputy was very prominent around the property at all times. Other staff who went the extra mile, Kevin our Butler, Jomon the BQ Restaurant manager and Viola a lovely lady from Uganda who looked after us in BQ. There was also a manager/ supervisor at BQ in the evening, we didn’t get his name but he and his evening team were excellent. We also ate in the steak restaurant World Cut, live music, excellent service and food of very high standard. Last but not least we had access to the Champagne bar and this was also really excellent. We will not hesitate to visit this property again in the next year or so, truly a memorable stay for my birthday.

Habtoor Palace has to be one of the most luxurious hotel experiences to enjoy in a lifetime. Located in Downtown Dubai and next to the Dubai Canal, it's about 30 min from the International Airport, The entrance of the hotel is just grand and sophisticated. The entrance has two marbled staircases leading to the first floor and a very open reception area. The lift lobbies are tucked away from view. The service at the reception is very quick and efficient. The staff very polite and helpful. The Concierge is very efficient and will organize any help one needs. The rooms are large, in exquisite marble and all amenities are available. The bathroom is large with two wash basins and a beautiful bath tub too. There is supply of fresh fruits in the room and we received a box of complimentary chocolates too. The mattress was comfortable and I would rate the sleep quality as quite high. There are multiple restaurants. We used two of them, BQ and Le Patio. Both have Continental and Mediterranean cuisine. Food is excellent, curated to the guests' taste and a happy experience. Staff are very helpful, polite and not "in your face" all the time. It was truly a stress free experience and we were made to feel at home.

We stumbled across this hotel almost by accident. From the moment we arrived in the middle of the night after 32 hours of traveling we were pampered and treated as important guests.
Almost before you realized you wanted something it was being offered- from the welcome treat of chocolate covered dates to the fresh fruit brought daily to the living room in our suite.
Calling our Diplomat Suite spacious does it a disservice- the entryway, walk in closet, and marble bathroom are as large as my first apartment! The sitting room has a desk for researching sightseeing options or work. The linens were scrumptious and large windows overlooked the flower filled patio that becomes a restaurant in the evening. Susmita and Ramon provided great, friendly service when we ate there.

The lobby is filled with staff who learned our names and were genuinely interested in our stories. “Dave” who oversees the concierge area gave great advice and arranged for tickets and reservations.

Perhaps our favorite part of our stay was enjoying breakfast each morning at the Patisserie/French Kitchen and bar. The manager Mohammed Saud is fairly new to this hotel and worked tirelessly to make sure the wait staff gave impeccable service. Our favorite server was Ahmed Ali-from his cheerful smile to his enthusiastic recommendation of the French toast, we looked forward to seeing him every day. After I requested cinnamon for my cappuccino one morning he prepared it that way going forward.

We can highly recommend this palace, and look forward to returning!

We had a great stay. As a diamond member we were invited to a daily cocktail hour with little canapés served in the Patisserie, and they even prepared them glutenfree on request. We had a nice upgrade and the staff was wonderful. The butler service is a very nice aspect preserved from the St Regis days of this property, we enjoyed a daily tea service and help with many small aspects of our stay. The butlers Mr Krunal and Mr Sibin had prepared an amazing towel heart with rose leaves and a chocolate cake in the room for our arrival, this was a wonderful touch for our wedding anniversary. The butler team in general made our stay especially nice, als Mrs Nisha. The kids could use the Hilton kids club. The breakfast was a bit small with regards to choice but you could ask for anything they did not have. Like the Hilton next door the air conditioning smells slightly moldy, this should probably be adressed by cleaning regularly. It was however not too bad and we are very sensitive with our allergies.
One small caveat: The beach offer to use the Waldorf Astoria Palm beach club complimentary is a bit misleading. There was a complimentary taxi, however the beach access must be paid with a 80 Dollars per person minimum F&B consumption. This is exactly the same price as for walk-in guests, and not really a complementary benefit for Al Habtoor guests.
All in all this hotel I indeed truly 5 stars, a wonderful property with great service attitude. The location is good if you want something close to the mall and Burj Khalifa and not far from the main highway.
