The stay was great , outstanding reception from Mr Abdelhaq and Mr Helmy , we tried villa layali and it was one of the best villas in Dubai with a private pool in the middle of the villa, launch and dinner were delicious , the checkout was very smooth with the kind receptionist Ms Amina , many thanks for the great service

The resort is in a fantastic location just 15-20mins outside of the city centre and in a peaceful area so you can have the best of both worlds. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you to Helmy for arranging my taxis and to Shahid for the stables tour. Nan in Epicure is fantastic, extremely courteous. Polo suite has a great view over the polo field but I would try the one bedroom pool suite next time.

We visited for the Coronation Brunch which was absolutely superb. Great British food and fab live music, the staff were very attentive and kept everything flowing 😍 special thanks to Tala who organised my booking 👍🏼 As an extra treat we saw the horses on the polo field as the brunch finished. Very happy customers.

We had an amazing time in the Meliá desert palm. We went with our 2 children (3 and 1) and the service was exceptional. Each member of the staff from check in to room service to the lifeguards and wait staff were so friendly and great with the kids. The hotel itself is set in a stunning location overlooking the polo ground. The room was luxurious and had plenty of space for the travel cot. The kids really enjoyed the pool and the adults the great choice of food in the restaurants. Overall we a great 2 nights and would highly recommend.

Villa was very spacious & swimming pool was big in which we’ve enjoyed a lot in fact . However hotel needs to add more restaurant options with more tastier & food quality. We were not very satisfied with having only 2 restaurants, one was steakhouse restaurant & it very noisy not for family with kids. Especially I’ve seen drunk guests coming out which caused panic to my kids with no security people around. The other restaurant’s food was not much tasty & there was no breakfast buffet, only ala carte with very slow on service & staff in this restaurant needs to be trained more on hotel guest service.
