I needed nothing more than a few weeks working remotely in the sun before Christmas. JW had outstanding rates so stayed there while working before moving to a beach location. A titanium I was upgraded to a corner suite that was very large and excellent for working purposes and a particularly oversized and well equipped washroom.

I loved the huge screen TVs in living room and bedroom that streamed content from personal devices. Executive lounge was great and best efforts made with distancing and mask policy (there will always be rogues). Check in was with the manager at the Elite desk and she was fantastic, I have no idea how she remembers guest names in a hotel of that size. Other staff among many others who were wonderful to deal with include Christian in the lounge, Frank and Val at the bell desk, and a last word for the outstanding Chong in the spa with whom I enjoyed two long outstanding massages at excellent special rates booked through front office.

The first night experience was not that great. I booked a king size bed room but when checked in, they gave me a twin bed room, the bed is too small and I saw one hair on a bed which makes me very uncomfortable.

The great experience started when I changed to a king size bed room. Special thanks to Youssef who has helped me move my stuff the the new room. When I don’t like the smell of the room, he helped me talk to the reception to change to another one. He is such a nice person with good communication. I really appreciate his excellent services. He is from Egypt.

This is one of the best hotels in Dubai. Marquee twin towers with a spectacular view all around, the JW Marriott brand and service, and excellent location... close to Jumeirah, Dubai Marina, Business Bay, and Citywalk restaurants. The rooms are modern and luxurious, the views are breathtaking, and the 11 restaurants will serve every type of cuisine that your palette may desire!
We were very fortunate to have Edward Kachasu, Front Desk Manager take care of our stay. His hospitality is epic, and he made sure that every moment of our stay was taken care of perfectly. After doing a night shift and going home, he still kept checking with us via WhatsApp if everything was to our satisfaction and if the hotel could go above and beyond on any front... incredible dedication and it's the reason why JW Marriott hospitality is just a class apart. So diligent and so caring. The executive lounge on the 37th floor serves up the best cocktails and hors d'oeuvres. We had some of the most wickedly delicious cocktails at the 72nd floor bar lounge - The Vault. Talented mixologists and a cigar humidor with a wide collection of Cubans and Dominican cigars. We had dinner at Tong Thai, and the most gentle and hospitable Thai lady "Manee" catered to the unique vegetarian needs of my wife and served up the most incredible meal with white glove service. Housekeeping staff is very dedicated to safety and comfort and went out of their way to make sure everything was sanitized and cleaned at regular intervals.
The only negative experience we had was with a waitress named "Jira?" at Tong Thai who was just plain rude and bored to hell with her job but she was soon replaced by Manee who was plain awesome and so polite. Also a chap called Suman at Concierge was obviously out of place at the Marriott... the most confused and argumentative concierge boy I have ever seen in my 30 years of travel.
Edward Kachasu and the rest of his staff needs to be complimented in making this a DREAM STAY!!

I arrived at the JW Marriott Marquis from Edition Abu Dhabi where I experienced the perfect stay. Contrast this to my arrival at 3pm ( the official check in time ) at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai and it was chaos! Many of the check in desks were unmanned including the Marriott Bonvoy members desk. My check in took 50 minutes behind a queue of people asking about the surrounding area and restaurants etc. These enquiries should have been directed by the front desk team to the concierge.There are nearly 1700 rooms here so pool space and sun loungers are tricky. The pool does not get the sun in the after around 3pm.That said La Farine is a 24 hour bakery and coffee shop with fab pastries and the staff at Bridgewater Tavern ( sofas and tables outside ) go out of their way to please. The manager and chef there should be commended. The hair salon has a good manager but sadly his team are unaware of blow drying trends here in the UK - diffusers went out with the Ark. My rooms was adequate on the 30th floor ( though I didn't spend much time looking at the view and lifts were slow ( to be expected with 2 towers A & B ) and so many guests vying for lifts.That being said it has a great location, 10 minutes walk from Business Bay Metro station but I'm struggling to recommend this to leisure travellers, even business travellers would be better placed on Sheikh Zayed Road say at the Shangri La or Raffles both comparable in price. You could be staying at a Marriott anywhere in the world as nowhere at this hotel lets you know you're in the UAE. I prepaid £300 a night room only for this so it's not cheap!

Loved staying at this hotel, rooms were great, comfortable and clean, great restaurant selections in the hotel and everyone made us feel welcome and made sure we were comfortable at all times. The staff was great, we received great help from Jacob, Abid and Mahesh and made a great friend in Ruvini. Ruvini was very attentive and so nice, she was a great help during our entire trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be sure to stay there again when visiting Dubai.

We were a group of 4 staying here for holiday, check in time is stated at 3pm but we got there at 7-8am and was checked in right away. We even asked for complimentary upgrades which was given to us by Sharon who was amazing and helpful at Reception. As soon as we came out of the taxi the hotel Bell service was amazing and made sure our luggage was handled and dropped to our room as soon as we checked in. Frank & Timothy in particular was very kind and helpful.

We were half board customers so breakfast and either lunch or dinner was included otherwise our vouchers would have got us other meals within the hotel. The buffet restaurant had a good selection although the food never really changed while we were there, not sure if this was due to the month of Ramadan while we were there. There are a variety of other restaurants which are award winning and we could see even customers outside of the hotel were visiting.

The only downfall we felt was for such a massive hotel the pool area was very small and at times it was difficult find a chair by the pool. There is also the pain of customers leaving their towels there for ages without being at the chairs, I feel if after an hour or so people are not there then towels should be removed for other people to use the area.

Cleanliness was second to none and we were very impressed with the look and feel, face masks were also provided if you forgot your own. There was also a shuttle bus service which takes customers from the hotel to Dubai Mall although on the last day where we had so much time to kill the bus broke so we had to get a taxi.

On departure our Bell service was again amazing and Gopi in particular helped looked for a taxi big enough to accommodate for our big luggage's as well as us.

Overall we would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely revisit.

I recommend staying at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel especially those who are visiting Dubai for the first time.

Customer service is excellent and second to none. As soon as you arrive, people greet you warmly as if you are coming back home to your family. Rozaldo met us with a genuine welcome smile at the main entrace,

Harry, Joriessa and Walid were extraordinarily nice and hospitable throughout our stay. Our most gratifying experience is the diverse breakfast spread at Kitchen6 where servers and managers like Dave, Rabina, Angel and Rolwin made sure we are always happy and taken cared of.

Finally, our room and beddings are kept like newly checked in rooms daily because housekeeping staffs like Rakesh G, Sunam K and Santosh C. made sure they are cleaned and refreshed daily.
Stephen from the Laundry Room made our laundry service quick and seamless when we needed it.

For the price we paid, we are truly blessed to enjoy first class service and experience at very affordable daily rate. You don’t need to look around and compare where to stay, once you enter and experience JW Marriot Marquis at Business Bay in Dubai.

Try it and you will keep coming back. That’s guaranteed! It’s also the Tallest Hotel in Dubai.

I checked in 02 connected rooms at Hotel on 07/01/2020
at 1 pm and asked the staff to shift luggage in my room as room was in cleaning.
I came bk at 8 pm and I was told there are no room ready for us. My family struggled for an hour and staff at reception was curt and had no clue. Later when I deliberated, room was given without our luggage. Later I got a call that our luggage is in some other room.... whole mess took hours ..... can’t write further probably my charm for JW is over now !!!

My daughter and I had an amazing 3 night stay. All the staff from reception to the breakfast and housekeeping were friendly and professional and we felt very well taken care of. You can tell that maintaining high standards is important to the hotel management and they run a very well tuned operation. The room (48th floor twin) was incredibly spacious with very comfy beds and a wonderful bathroom. The view from the floor to ceiling window is amazing. Some of the restaurants were closed due to the pandemic but there were still plenty of options to choose from. We tried the pool bar/restaurant, the bakery and the tavern. All were great. In the gym and attendant was on duty and sanitised the equipment after each use. Our entire stay felt very safe without the new measures feeling intrusive or inconvenient at all. I’ll definitely be choosing this hotel on my next visit.

My First international trip after almost a year, and It was once again an amazing
one at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai

I choose JW Marriott Marquis Dubai as my first international trip after almost one year. I was sure this hotel will give me one of the most memorable stay with maintaining all required safety norms and, they did not disappoint me at all.

It was an amazing n very memorable stay.
Being a titanium elite member, I got upgraded to a beautiful suite.
Special thanks to Shirley !!

First thing that any traveler will wish in a hotel in this pandemic is the safety.
They have all required safety norms strictly followed as per UAE government.
All public places was strictly with wearing mask and room was cleaned and sanitized on daily basis.

The sports bar Bridge water tavern is a great place to be for Live sports on huge screens with lot many options of draught beers.

The executive lounge is huge and very nicely decorated with skyline views of Dubai.
Thanks to dear Samir & Ajim for taking such nice care of all my needs.
A very special thanks to the chef ( sorry I missed his name ) for yummy food with all my special dietary requirements.

Highly satisfied with everything and will want to visit soon...

If you care about the deposit, it seems to me that this hotel may not be within your budget! I have been traveling around the world for over 39 years .. and have never once thought about the deposit a hotel might take at check in as an advance against incidentals for prepaid or room booked on points
