Simply the best hotel I have stayed in. Traditional luxury throughout the hotel. It was a very special 5 days with one daughter flying in from Australia, to meet her sister and myself. An added surprise was when my son arrived from the UK on the second day. Room service from our butler was very efficient and canapés and fruit were a nice touch. We loved pre dinner cocktails in the Jazz Bar - great Whisky Sour! Food in buffet excellent but definitely worth going to the Italian but book in advance otherwise no chance of getting in. Only one small complaint - reception service when checking in was painfully slow and not a good start when you have arrived on a night flight,

Hotel's Favourite
My husband and I just had a week away at the Raffles on the Palm in Dubai. Apologies if I sound like I’m gushing but here is my honest feedback: Location: on the main palm frond, easy access to malls and airport, up the road from The Atlantis and Atlantis Royal Rooms: very large, bed very comfortable, bathroom and toilet beautiful, dressing room - a little small for 2, balcony- massive- we faced the palm and pool - fab view The cleaners and staff were superb, nothing too difficult to sort out. Felt well looked after. Pool - very large, abundant sun beds and pool staff amazing, in particular Vincent who was attentive and very sweet Beach: not my favourite, it’s clearly built on land fill so very hard underfoot, water quite still and concentrated, you could float in it, reminded me of the Dead Sea. Sand imported from Maldives so potentially soft but not deep so didn’t feel natural (probably only disappointment) Piatta Restaurant: on the water so great location, food delicious but in general a little pricey. Bar upstairs a non starter, very under-utilised and felt it was missing a pre/post dinner drink casual scene Matagi Restaurant: good food and staff superb, 3 new Japanese chefs have come on board so promising great things , bar potentially to be extended which I think would offer pre and post drinks with a cool scene, not quite there yet but potential . We loved trying the Sake recommended by Raphael and we felt the waitstaff in particular Qila was fun, and very attentive… thank you for making our evenings memorable Sola Jazz Bar: cute but quite old fashioned, not our scene plus not a fan of people smoking cigarettes and cigars inside. Think it needs to evolve Gym and Spa: absolutely fabulous, the massage was amazing, the space is restful and calming. Very high end. The gym is fully fitted and run by Daniel who runs a fab gym space. I thought the Yoga studio was perfection. In general I think The Raffles hotel is run smoothly and with efficiency. Breakfast staff were super attentive and we even got our chia seeds made into pudding. We would definitely return and felt like nothing was too much trouble in a very opulent, comfortable space. What I would suggest is for there to be somewhere to have a cocktail pre or post dinner with some nice modern lounge music and with a view of the palm.

Our first time at the Raffles the Palm and it won’t be our last. We travelled with grandparents and the kids (age 8 and 10). From the moment we arrived, Shakir took care of us as we arrived early (8am) and our rooms were not ready. The staff appreciated that we had travelled over night and by 9.40am, one room was ready 😊. We were able to use the changing rooms to freshen up and use the hotel facilities (indoor pool, outdoor pool and had lunch). They catered for the kids beautifully - they provide toiletries, children’s robes and slippers. There is also a fantastic cinema which the kids really enjoyed - with popcorn included! The kids club staff are great and held dance competitions by the pool daily. There are also activities in the gardens such as mini golf, badminton, football and even a small quad bike for the kids to use. All staff were great with the kids with a special mention to Ola who spoke to them every time he saw us. Ola provided a spectacular service from the moment we arrived - always engaging with the kids and making us all feel so welcome and comfortable. He went above and beyond when my husband hurt his foot (his own fault with uncomfortable flip flops). He insisted on getting a plaster for immediate relief and got us new flip flops straight away. Thank you Ola! By the pool, small cold lavender infused towels were provided to cool us down. Staff would come around offering to clean our sunglasses 😎 Food and drinks were promptly served and cleared when we were done. We didn’t have any issues in getting our sun beds or Cabanas as there are plenty around the pool. The outdoor pool is huge and has a swim up bar and jacuzzis. Beach was lovely and the views are always great. Indoor pool was exquisite, plenty of cabanas/beds and towels. There is also a sauna which we all used and ice cold water is always available at both pools. The overall service was always friendly and we were always met with a smile. No detail was over looked and no request was ever too much. The Gym was clean and had enough machines and space to workout. The grounds and the hotel are super clean with staff constantly cleaning the water on the walkways around the pool, cleaning the floors inside the hotel and attending to the greenery.l to keep it neat. The toilets by the pool are also attended to, and cleaned after each use immediately. Santo was in charge of servicing our room and the team were wonderful every day cleaning it, folding our clothes, changing bedding and towels and were prompt in responding when we needed extra towels, hangers, ice bucket etc. We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant Matagi where the ambience, food and service were amazing. Kila looked after us and was absolutely spectacular. She brought us over a stool for our handbags and even a shawl for my daughter when she looked a little chilly. Her service was beyond attentive. At the breakfast buffet , there was something for everyone. Yogurts; meats, fruit, pastries, cereals, variety of juices, sausages, eggs, hash browns - you name it, they had it. You can also order items from the menu with your waiter such as eggs Benedict, omelettes and so much more. Our teas, coffees, milkshakes were made to order with the choice of a variety of milks if needed. At dinner, there is again, something for everyone at the buffet. My daughter has a nut allergy and so couldn’t have many of the desserts. The chef made a special effort to prepare a suitable cake just for her. We visited whilst they were celebrating Eid so were lucky to experience the special menus, music and enjoy the vibe. Having visited Dubai every year for the past 18 years, we have stayed in many hotels catering for couples and families. At Raffles the Palm, we lived like kings and queens for a week and cannot wait to go back.

Our stay at Raffles was mixed, with some amazing experiences and service and some less so. There is only one area for entertainment in the evenings - The Jazz Club, which was good but repetitive. The club upgrade is absolutely worth doing and I would like to make special mention of Shehan Giunasekara who took such fabulous care of us and made a huge difference to our experience and stay. A truly valuable member of staff.

Raffles The Palm Dubai Dubai Raffles sadly let us down 946693112 We are now 3 weeks back from Raffles and plenty of time to reflect. Raffles is a beautiful place, full of opulence but ..... if you take away the people, the heart and soul of raffles has now sadly moved on. if you have a moment please look on my IG page 'the movementosteo' I have had to remove the link being informed by Trip Advisor- simple scroll and hear for your selves dated 22 March. Just over 1 year ago, a young lady was the GM of Raffles bringing the 'best of the best' and ruled Raffles with such valor the staff felt it a privelige to work with her. I am lucky to call this lady a friend, Ms Soumana who has moved on to bigger and better things. There has been a mass migration of staff since, clearly if you read recent reviews there are issues with staff and service which can happen to any luxury hotel for sure. This trip, was my return with my wife who came with me 1 year ago and love it so much, the place, please and temperature being perfect. This was my 8th trip, some might say how can they make this one better for you? Well my experinces with Accor started in 2015, when the Fairmont was this superb boutigue hotel. There was even discussions with me setting up a clinic therein, arranged by a well known VP within the group. Sadly covid came, we have all been in recovery since if being honest. To explain about my self, I came regulary to Dubai to look after members of the "Royals / Emiratis " as a neck specialist ( Registered Osteopath ) approx 6x annually and treated some of my own patients. I came to Raffles to help at opening, and very fortunate to have returned many times always being looked after very well. Having assurances with management that all would be the same if i returned, I did so with my good lady. We got off to an awful start, there was fault with the Airbus that couldn't be fixed and lost 1.5 days at the very begining ! The holiday contined on this mode, our room was on the 1st floor personally chosen by the GM I was told. Club access was denied which was such a shame as my wife loved the sunset and Raffles simply could not afford us a glass of wine & a lettuce leaf in the evening. I asked for a meeting to discuss issues and 5 days later I met with a front of house manager! Raffles would always jump on a complaint within a hour i can assure you. This brings me to the conclusion this was personal, extremely embarrising as i had my wife with me and really destroyed our holiday! Mr Hani and his staff took hold of the reigns in Le Jardin and did his best for us. Its not all bad theres 2 new comers to Raffles that I think will make a difference Mr Stephen Simiyu and Valentina who has take on Piatti & the beach. Sadly Raffles I will not return, such a shame when I have built up so many real friends here. I have referred many patients since its opening and many asking me whats going on at Raffles since my instagram post. Raffles has changed, I wish the new MD well and everyone at Raffles

Exceptionally beautiful and immaculately clean hotel. Food very good and varied. Staff friendly and helpful. Had a great stay and would certainly recommend this hotel. Always plenty of sunbeds and parasols available. Rooms were beautifully fitted out. Only negative comment would be that no paper copies of anything in the hotel was available end you were expected to use your phone for everything.
