A very nice hotel on the Canal with exceptional staff! A very special thanks to Khem from housekeeping who went out of his way to ensure we had anything we needed. He looked after us extremely well. The rooms are beautiful and spacious. I would like to recommend that the hotel add bathroom hooks to be able to hang up towels, as opposed to using the towel rack currently being used. The second recommendation is to improve the lighting in the closet area of the room. Other than those small tweaks, we had a great time. Thanks again Khem!

I stayed at this hotel for more than 2 months in a business trip and I would like to personally write about and thank everyone at this amazing hotel.
Location:
The hotel is located at a very good area, close to downtown and to the highway, it made it very easy for me to commute.
Room:
I stayed at the premium room, and it was truly premium
In every aspect. Extremely clean, smells amazing, high quality furniture, very comfy bed, and a really nice view of the bay and Burj Khalifa.
Amenities:
Given that I stayed for a very long time, I needed to have access to many services, their gym is very very clean and had all the machines that any traveller would look for, you can’t be a body builder though :). They have an amazing pool with a great view as well.
The internet is fast and never disconnect. Room services are available 24/7 and are very professional. The supply of towels, water, tea and coffee is abundant.
When it comes to breakfast, even though the menu is not that extensive, but the taste and the quality is always at par. Also, you can always ask if they can accommodate other things not listed in the menu and they will make it happen.
Business services:
They do have free shuttle services that takes you to certain areas, printing facilities, access to office rooms if needed.
Restaurant:
Due to COVID, only one restaurant at the hotel is open, but that’s really all you need.

Customer service:
Talk about premium service in every aspect and you will find it there, even the executives of the hotel aren’t shy to reach out to you at any time if you have any issues or inquiries. They make things happen for you and make your life much easier and your stay much more pleasant.

And since I’ve been here for a while, I got to know few faces and know them on a personal level and I would really really like to mention few names and give them a standing ovation for the best and most courteous service that I’ve ever received in my life, and I’ve been to many 5 stars hotels and refused to make any comments.

we returned today after a 6 day 5 night trip to Dubai. We stayed at the Grand Millennium Business bay hotel which was the best hotel we have ever stayed at anywhere in the world. The property is beautiful the staff is absolutely fantastic people from all over the world who are always available to assist with anything from the cleaning staff to the dining room to the check in and check out always with a smile and go the extra mile to make sure the guests have the best experience while staying at the hotel

We had a beautiful spacious room over looking the creek the bed was so comfortable there were extra pillows that were also comfy the bathroom and shower were done in such a modern design as is all the hotel all marble and sleek design

We have been in many 5 star hotels but this one is so far the best we have ever stayed at and we would definitely return

The hotel is located in an excellent location very central and in easy reach of the best attractions the hotel offers a shuttle for free to certain destinations and also has a representative of a company on hand daily who can arrange tickets to all the different places taxis etc

The hotel is recommended very very highly and adds an extra touch to a beautiful country where we had probably our best and most pleasant vacation

The staff are multilingual coming from many different countries but all are completely fluent
in English

Hotel is located at least 15 minutes by a walk from neareast underground train stop and even more from city centre but looks like in Dubai most people uses cabs or cars even on short distances so sightseeing by a walk is rather not an idea so need to be carefull.

Stayed at big suite apartment with separate bedroom and canal view. Hotel is constructed the way making big part of view from my living room and bedroom showing hotel wall what obviously was not visible at third party photos. City centre view and canal view were main reason I decided to choose not only this apartment but also this hotel at all so feel litlle bit disappointed regarding views from apartment I stayed. I needed to ask room service for ironing devices as machine and desk because this stuff were missing at my apartment. Disco club were inaccessible during my stay. Reception has got only two stands so sometimes there could be need to wait for service.

Staff were very kind and helpfull. Restaurant offering european and american dishes is located close to bay water also with city view. The food was tasty and service was proffesional. Room lightening facilities could be found as somehow sophisticated with as many options as day light, night light, reading light and others, many of them could be in fact usefull during stay at hotel. When I arrived at the apartment after long flight's trip there were welcoming fresh fruit package waiting for me, fruit were very tasty. Michal

We stayed here as part of a Laughter Factory Tour Offer. The hotel was very nice and welcomed on arrival. Our booking included free drinks and snacks between 6-8pm and these were very nice indeed. After this we moved onto the booked show was hilarious (we try and make the monthly show). The room was spacious and comfortable although my wife could not find a plug outlet next to a mirror earlier in the evening. The following day we were given a late checkout and decided to use the Jacuzzi, Steam Room and Sauna. This is where it all fell apart. We were greeted (not welcomed) by two ladies who could barely communicate and were shown around, my wife booked a treatment and I used the facilities that were there (separate male/female). The jacuzzi was pleasant enough warm and working jets, the ‘experience’ shower seemed to require a service as many jets etc. just didn’t spray. I tried the Steam Room and Sauna but both hadn’t been switched on (even though we were shown the rooms before making a booking). The lady managed to start the steam room and after an engineers visit the sauna came to life. Alter 1.5 hours in the spa I think I managed 20mins of using the equipment at the right temperatures. Whilst moving between the sauna and steam room I was presented with the receptionist on the lounger, phone plugged in and watching videos at full volume and also calling her friends, so relaxing!

My wife’s treatment…… firstly she was made to pre-pay and this immediately gave the feeling that the service would not be up to scratch, which after 40mins of a 60min treatment was very clear. The masseuse did not provide a good treatment and clumsily performed the routine with poor application of oils and then wiped down with tissues. After 2/3 of the booked time she was ushered to to shower/jacuzzi although these were free items and not part of any booked treatment.

In summary, room was nice, food and service at the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was great with staff being attentive. For the Spa, I would not recommend the facilities or services. Customer Service in the UAE is normally very high and any company that wants paid first generally isn’t looking for happy or returning customers.

It’s also a shame that this review is tied to the hotel, but, the spa (Al Yamama) doesn’t have its own page and the Hotel does list it as a facility.

Stayed here for the first time and for 3 weeks during my 17th trip to Dubai. There were many good things about this hotel, most notably the staff. In particular, Pravin, Glan and Kusum (in the restaurant), Ghulam, the ladies (at Reception) and Lourdes (housekeeping) deserve a mention for their excellent service. All that said, the biggest disappointment was also a member of staff – more below.

The room was clean and kept clean by the very good housekeeping staff. No complaints about the room.

The one thing that led to note-worthy disappointment involved a complaint and the management’s complete failure to deal with it despite it being raised several times. We asked for an ironing board and iron to (yes, you’ve guessed it) iron some clothes. On first use, it turned out that the board had a mesh bed and an extremely thin cover. This resulted in the pattern of the mesh being burned onto the clothes (no, the iron was not too hot and this only happened because the cover was too thin). My wife was not impressed with her clothes being ruined and this was brought to the attention of the hotel. Housekeeping sent Lourdes who then raised it with her line manager (Salma) but she also put sheets under the iron board cover to ensure no more clothes were ruined. And none were thereafter. Lourdes later returned to tell us what her line manager had said – essentially blaming us, the clothes and the iron being too hot; in other words everything but their poor equipment. Note that the line manager did not have the decency to speak to us directly – possibly because she knew she was talking rubbish. I then raised it with the Front of House Manager (name available to Millennium Hotels on request). Two weeks later and on the evening before I was due to leave, having heard nothing, I asked him and it was clear he had done absolutely nothing. Even worse, he asked me to talk to the duty manager in the morning (he clearly could not even be bothered to chase up the matter there and then).

That kind of apathy from a manager at any hotel, let alone a 5-star one is inexcusable. Hence the ‘average’ rating when it otherwise would have been ‘excellent’.

The staff are what makes this hotel lovely. They are kind, helpful and know you as a guest when you are staying a while. The housekeeping staff that took care of my room were particularly nice - making sure I had all that I needed. The woman from Tajikistan at the front desk was particularly helpful, kind and informative. The pool area is small but just enough and never crowded.

Our family of four had a wonderful time last weekend at the property in Business Bay. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Due to covid, a delicious breakfast, with a wide variety of deliciousness was served in the room. The staff were very helpful and friendly and on time with services. The chef made it extra special with a delicious cake for my husband who was celebrating his birthday. We even got an upgrade!! All together, a very relaxing staycation!

We stayed at the grand millennium hotel at business bay and had the best experience imaginable, the hotel is located by the water canal and 10 minutes away from the downtown area ( dubai mall burj khalifa ) , we walked every day by the side of the canal that had many stores and lounges, my stay at the hotel was amazing everything was up to my standards, the check in was easy and fast , they welcomed us by a envelope containing everything about our stay and shuttle service , there’s 3 restaurants at the hotel and 1 bar opens until 3 am , our rooms were complimentary upgraded , very clean ( sheets towels) , the restroom and bath had speakers so you can listen to music . The wifi is strong I can do video calls with no issues, the view is amazing , very quiet sleep once you lock the door you can’t hear anything, they had a swimming pool with a lounge that opens until 6 pm you must see it. Over all the service was amazing very welcoming staff the front desk lady ( Ridhma) was very helpful and friendly I would definitely be staying at this hotel in my next visit to Dubai .

My family and I chose to spend a week, including New Year’s, at Grand Millennium Business Bay. It was a hard decision to make, as Dubai has very many luxurious properties, but we truly made the best decision.

The moment we reached the location we were properly welcomed by the valet and the bellboys who took care of our car and luggages, and minutes later by the front office staff. It was that feeling that we so much look forward to after traveling for long hours. I would like to mention that we are thankful to Mrs. Azilhama whom we met when she greeted us upon our check-in, for also making sure that our stay went above our expectations. We thank Mrs. Ridhima (front office) for being friendly, helpful, and professional at all times.

We definitely encourage choosing the room options that provide club access, as their executive lounge is a great place to relax, catch your breath after, before, or even in the middle of a full day. Its staff, especially Mrs. Histi and Mrs. Marjorie, are the best. They took care of us during our entire stay. Anything we needed, they made sure we had it. Very professional, but in the same time, very friendly, which is the best combination in order to exceed guests’ expectations. The products they serve in the club are of high and refined quality, and the canal view with sparks of Burj Khalifa is astonishing.

I recommend Bella restaurant for dinner with a view. We spent one of the best New Year’s at Bella Restaurant with a breathtaking view of Burj Khalifa fireworks show. And a party full of life.

During breakfast, I cannot not show my gratitude to Mr. Chef Shemali for making sure I always had my rice (as I am allergic to certain meals, I need mine to be carefully cooked). Mr. Chef Shemali made sure that I had a perfect breakfast every day of our stay. Nevertheless, Shubham, a waiter we daily met at breakfast, was very polite, and at all times making sure we were enjoying our mornings, offering his help the way he could.

During our stay, we needed something that was not sold in the hotel, and Mr. Louyi - bellman (I truly hope I did not misspell his name) bought it and brought it to us at breakfast. I am thankful for his services.

All put together, we had a perfect vacation, and our perfectly located hotel was definitely the best choice we could have made. We totally recommend staying at Grand Millennium Business Bay. We will for sure come back.

Metro is about 7/8 minutes walking distance ( in summer is not worth) better a taxi

Surely we do accept visitor, however visitor detail might be required upon check-in to be registered in the system, In addition a Valid UAE ID or Passport of the visitor would be required.

"You can have a very nice walk along the kennel bank and you can also get to the waterfall bridge in 30 minutes by walk."
