Truly wonderful experience on our first visit to the QE2. We had a delicious afternoon tea, the service was fantastic the staff were attentive. It was my husbands birthday and he got treated with a lovely cake and a song. Made the experience so magical, one we shall never forget. The Heritage Tour was informative, really enjoyable and easy to follow this was all down to the knowledgeable tour guide Craig we had on our tour. Thank you all at the QE2 for the wonderful service received from when I first enquired about booking right through to the day of our visit.

We had an absolutely amazing tour of the ship with Brendan Russel Clarke today. It's just sensational! Brendan is a walking encyclopedia and knows everything about the history of the ship. The tour could have been 24 hours longer - it was so exciting, entertaining and educational. 100% recommendation! Thank you Brendan - today was a highlight of our holiday here in Dubai!

QE2 is located nearby the souk, metro, supermarket and marina restaurants all on walking distance (10-15min). The ship is nice and the rooms are clean. The deluxe room is very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is great. All fresh and enough choice for everyone. I preferred the fresh pancakes, waffles, fruit and omelettes. The staff is super friendly (especially Mary from reception) and the price for the rooms are very reasonable compared to any other hotel in Dubai. Would recommend everyone to stay here while in Dubai.

This hotel was a complete disappointment. The check in staff wasn't friendly at all, they don't even explain to you how to go to your room. We booked a Deluxe room eith city view, and on the first night we simply didn't sleep, because there was a party and the sound was so loud that the bass coming from the speakers made an huge vibration on the walls, and it didn't stop until 01:30 am. We complained and they offered us a dinner reservation at their restaurant to compensate all the trouble. When we arrive to the restaurant there was no reservation, and we explained the situation and even though the responsible on the restaurant said that if we want to eat there we had to pay, we was really arrogant. So we leave, another complain and the front desk said that we could return to the restaurant, but we didn't accept. On the next day many excuses but for sure we will never return. What should be an interesting experience become a completely disappointment.

This place is INCREDIBLE!! We loved it. To be on such a historical ship is so cool. The information and history is laid out in a fascinating way. The ROOM was likely the best five star I have stayed in. Thanks especially to Kareem - a duty manager. He was so nice. and his assoicate Paula -- they helped us and really made our time extra special. The quality of food was over the top -- I only wish I could have stayed several days.

Lovely room Queen bed with a Captains balcony over looking the port so something to watch the cargo area across the water. The other side of the ship is a large carpark and construction site which may be ok when the work is all finished. A couple we met had walked across the site from the Dubai Metro station takes about 20 minutes, they wouldn't do it again or at night. Faded grandeur. The whole ship could do with some TLC. Nice breakfast buffet but very busy. Stayed for 3 nights. Had dinner one night, but looked as if not many guests eat dinner onboard. Very helpful staff everywhere. Easy to get lost up and down the many passageways and stairs.

Craig was an excellent guide on the heritage tour, very knowledgeable and friendly. Enjoyed looking round the old cruise liner and glad it is still in use today. We had the tour followed by lunch in the Lido Restaurant, food was good and great staff and service. Nice view of other cruise ships and cargo ships unloading.

It was a very interesting experience.. quite a lot of history to experience. The room was fantastic. We had the captains suite with balkony. The bathroom and bed was very good. Clean over all. Nice staff. Very very good breakfast and dinner. It was just a very bad place the ship is. Because it is impossible to walk around and see the city, Because of distance and city work.
