We (family of four: two parents and two teenagers) really enjoyed our stay at this hotel in December 2020. We had two rooms next to eachother, and even though we had standard rooms, they were nice and spacious (very large bathrooms) and we loved the views through the large window-walls. And we appreciated that there were fridges and water boilers in the rooms.

The staff is super helpful, and whenever you would need anything they were very service minded.

We were impressed with how clean everything was, and the COVID restrictions were handled really well at breakfast for example, with no guests getting close to the food. We loved the selection of fruits and vegetables at breakfast, and others were also enjoying plenty of options of cheeses, eggs, pancakes etc.

The location is great with walking distance to the Dubai mall and the Burj Khalifa.
We did walk there a few times, but we also drove, as we had rented a car, which we conveniently were able to easily park in the underground parking under the hotel.

We went for several runs at the boardwalk just outside the hotel, and the kids swam in the pool every day. It is great that it is open until 9 in the evening! There was also a fun pool table which we made use of.

We hope to come back, and are warmly recommending staying at the Radisson Bly Waterfront in Dubai.

Its a pleasant stay with great hospitality from the hotel staff right from arrival till departure.
Check in was a breeze and so was checked out.
Warm ambience and great camaraderie from the Larder staff( Food and Everage staff) a handful to thank from Carlister, Celeste ,Liza, trainee Anil and others whose names I might left out(thousand apology)who without fail every morning during breakfast cater to our needs especially mum's.from serving pot of tea, refills omelettes and etc.
Also during daily outings mum was assisted to and from pickups by hotel staffs.
Kudos to housekeeping staff who made room 1712( from 6th to 11th Jamuary2020) you know who you are..A million thanks.

45 day business trip. Very well located, We are always made very welcome at the Waterfront, from Concierge, Reception, Room Service, Restaurant and Poolside. Special thanks goes to Lisa and Laurie-May in the business Lounge, who looked after us impeccably at Breakfast and Evening Happy Hour.

Special thanks also goes to The Pool Staff, especially Samson, who is diligent with keeping the outdoor pool clean and always friendly when we have our early morning swim.

All Team Leads do a fabulous job in ensuring we had everything we needed. BIG thank you.

Good choice of breakfast. Even though we had access to the Business Lounge, it was nice to have the option to grab a quick breakfast, when required in the P2 upper restaurant and also grab some morning Sun.

Good COVID policies and procedures in place. Very well located for evening walks, morning runs and cycling along the canal frontage.

It would be nice to have more variety of hot food at the evening happy hours, instead of deep fried food such as chicken wings, deep fried calamari and Lamb koftas. Some evenings we had to pay (Voluntarily) for other hot food options from the Makar bar menu.

The umbrellas on the P2 deck could do with replacing as they are looking a little tired.

There is a new large constution site on the canal view side (Not Burj Khalifa view side) and at times was very noisy

That said, we will be back soon! ;o)

Having stayed at Many Radisson hotels over the years, this was a real let down.

On Arrival (at 2am)

Phone not working couldn’t call room service for a small snack and extra tea bags (2 people in room, 4 coffee sachets but only 1 english breakfast t-bag)

Sink not draining

Next morning we noticed:

Stains in bath

Toilet seat loose

Bath grouting very dirty black and mouldy in areas

Bath wall panels not clean

Glass shelves very dusty

Dirt under glass on desktop

A general feeling the room was not clean at all. There was a label covering the door saying they had put extra effort in to cleaning the room. That was clearly marketing bull!

Some of the issues were resolved over 3 seperate discussions with staff but the toilet seat and stains in bath were never sorted.

I appreciate we didn’t pay top dollar for the room but having stayed in many RB hotels over the years, this is not the cleanliness and room maintenance standard I expect from RB and it has tainted my opinion of the brand. In fact I would say the rooms were “tired.” My wife said she will never stay in an RB hotel again! Not great.

On a positive note, the staff were excellent and the breakfast really good so full marks there.

Having run a customer service business for many years, I appreciate you can’t get it right all the time but the one area that concerned me the most was the lack of complaint coordination. Every time I spoke with the duty manager, I had to cover old ground and repeat the issues. I asked one if she had been briefed at shift handover about our issues and she knew nothing. Clearly there should be a handover of room issues until they are resolved. In my mind this was a big failure in resolving the problems.

We were offered to take the pool drinks off our bill and had a free courtesy shuttle to our next hotel but left with some problems not resolved and frankly a tarnished experience.

We stayed 2 nights at the Sheraton Dubai Creek. It was cheaper and beautifully clean. . I’d recommend you stay there instead.

The standard is so high in Dubai in general that this hotel is falling behind it’s competitors.

I would have liked to give the Radisson Blu a higher score, but once again there are too many little things that stop me from doing so. Three months earlier I stayed at the Palazzo Montemartini in Rome (a Radisson Collection hotel), which had similar issues.

On arrival the lobby area was a construction zone and was unusable. Fortunately, the work was finally completed by the following day. My room on check-in seemed acceptable, though nothing to write home about. However, being on a lower floor the noise from the bars across the waterfront, at 2 in the morning, was not acceptable, especially after spending 20 hours to get to Dubai.

My first mistake was to complain. Even though I was moved to a higher floor, the room I was given could best be described as closet size. My client who was staying at the same property was shocked when he saw it and said his room was at least three times the size. And he wasn't even a Radisson rewards member. I guess my second mistake was to expect some benefits from their loyalty program.

And as with the previous property, room design is more focused on form over function. I'm sure they are trying really hard to make themselves stand out, but someone should look at the end result.

Although there was a desk crammed into the corner next to the bed, it was totally useless due to the layout of the room leaving barely any space to fit a chair in. I ended up having to go down to the bar areas to get some work done.

Also, since there was no separate shower, the bath tub had the obligatory shower head attachments, but no form of curtain or glass partition, so no matter how careful you were you ended up with a small pool on the bathroom floor.

The staff were courteous, but just like in Rome I found the front desk staff did not go out of their way to be accomodating. It's the kind of arrogance usually found in very high end hotels where the staff think they are better than the guests. However, the restaurant staff, both at breakfast and dinner, were excellent in the service provided.

All in all, this was not a memorable stay. It's very unlikely that I would consider the Radisson again, certainly not in Dubai. My stay at the JW Marriott a year earlier certainly put the bar very high and was an unforgettable experience, much more suited for the business traveler. This seems better suited for the budget traveler who does not expect too much and spends more time in the bar than in the room.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 8 nights, from Nov 23 to Dec 1, 2020. We were part of a group that departure from Miami. Since the first night we arrived we received a welcome, pleasant and secure entrance checking the temperature and sanitizer for our hands. Was a fast checked in, the room was clean and smell good, has a balcony with a nice view of the bay. The first night we had a complementary dinner with a nice selection and delicious food. For the following days we had buffet breakfast and the service of manager Amit with the rest of the crew: Paul, Verah, Deby, Alax, Lorieman, Johnson, Rod, Rowena, Liza and Fritz were amazing. They were always smiling, courteous, attentive and always ready to serve our second cup of coffee. Also we can’t forget to mention Dennis from reception very nice guy that helped us with maps and directions when we want to visit around and other places. The room cleaning person every day provided with what we need and water bottles. In general we recommend this hotel for its position and service quality. It’s near train station, restaurants, supermarkets and walking distance to Dubái Mall.

This hotel is very centrally located to old town Dubai and has a fantastic view of the Burj Khalifa from the bar terrace. It’s a short taxi ride to the Dubai mall/fountains/Burj or a 20minute walk, which we did twice with a baby and it was pleasant.
We had a few room issues but they were addressed, and resolved in a timely manner.
Breakfast buffet has a good variety and you can sit on the balcony outdoors and enjoy the morning sunshine. They even gave our baby a little camel toy which was a lovely gesture.
The pool area is lovely and relaxing after a busy day out and about. They also offer a free shuttle service - ask reception for details on which beach they take you to, we didn’t use it as we needed a baby car seat.
We used the taxi service Kareem Kids which was amazing and we can highly recommend if you need an “Uber style” service but with a car seat for a child.

Food at the hotel is pricey, but the terrace has a lovely atmosphere for an enjoyable dinner.

When back in Dubai will stay here again.

We stayed over as we prepared for our departure from Dubai.

Very strange and difficult times in the hospitality industry but you would not have realised that from the attentiveness and attitude of the team there.

Always positive and pleasant whether it was the F&B team or front office helping with my requests for scanning and printing.

The room had a lovely view over the canal and of the the Burj Khalifa to our left. Proper social distancing was practiced at all times and the room only being made up when we were away.

We had our friends over for a farewell dinner at Firelake, which did not disappoint. Steaks were done as requested and non steak lovers enjoyed their meal.

It was already a favourite of ours during our time in Dubai so a great way to sign off. Only potential for improving would be to introduce a splash more colour. Perhaps red would be a good choice.

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel for nearly a week and found that it was a great location either if we were going to visit Old Dubai, Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall or Burj Al Arab/Mall of the Emirates/Gold & Diamond Park/Kite Beach.

Hotel has shuttle service to Dubai Mall and Kite Beach.

In the lobby, you will find and in-house service desk where we booked a day trip to Abu Dhabi.

Breakfast was great (not overcrowded) and the view from Restaurant FireLake Grill House was magic in the evening. Food was excellent and reasonable prised.

The Outdoor swimming pool has to be mentioned as well.

Summary: Very friendly staff, Quiet location, Clean and spacious rooms - value for money!!

Hi… take all 4 cases to the hotel. There is no limit or charge for the amount of luggage you have when you checkin. Or if they are big bags and you need some space in your room, then leave the with concierge, they have a storage room for staying guests. Hope that helps.
