Review collected in partnership with this hotel
From the staff, to the room, to the location, I absolutely loved staying at the Lotus Villa Boutique Hotel and would stay there, no questions, next time I visit Luang Prabang. Once you walk through the lobby, you are greeted with a tropical garden, a perfect place for breakfast

Comfortable and close to the centre of Luang Prabang with particularly friendly, helpful staff and super breakfasts (either local or European), we enjoyed our ground floor room during our eight day stay. Great value for money, highly recommended.

Like Sarah says, the original building (rooms 1-8 I believe) has a separate shower/toilet room, with a door for privacy. The sink area is open-plan with the room, although by the door and away from the sleeping/dressing area. We stayed 6 nights in total, in two different rooms, and were quite satisfied where privacy was concerned.

It's a bit small. Although it has a dedicated shower area and toilet, both are on open space with walls separating the bed (no door). There is no dedicated wardrobe but only hanging string and the cloth hangers. Overall it's small but adequate and would be OK for a few nights stay.

Hi, I can't believe this wasn't answered before.... ! Yes, the day beds are large enough for an adult! Hope this helps, and G'day.

I don't know what you mean by 'day bed'? The hotel is very clean and comfortable and I have only slept in a regular bed...and they were great. Get the suite and you will have one huge bed and in another room adjoining, two choices of singles. I highly recommend this hotel!
