About
Description
The charming hideaway of Luang Prabang is one of Indochina’s gems and the showpiece of Laos. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1995, the well preserved city is more of a sleepy backwater than a More modern metropolis. Wedged into the confluence of the mighty Mekong and lesser Khan river, Luang Prabang's peaceful location sets the pace for the unhurried way of life in the second largest city in Laos. Its grid-like road network makes it virtually impossible to get lost, and the entire town can be covered on foot in a day. Less

Stayed here for 3 nights after Vang Vieng, check in was quick and friendly, had no issues. Later that night, we tried to ask receptionist to call a tuk tuk to the restaurant however the manager organised a shuttle bus service for us and asked the driver drop off us at the restaur

First of all I would like to mention that we had a great stay at the hotel. However, since I work in a luxury hotel myself (Hotel Sacher Wien), I know how important honest feedback is.
So, let’s start with the service: from the doormen to the receptionists and the F&B staff you c

Dear Vera Anderle, Thank you very much for taking your time to write such a wonderful review and feedback, our colleagues have done a wonderful job for us and have created their own style of service, we need to show and coach them the rest they bring out themselves, they say perseverance pays and for my side this is showing, we are very proud of all our staff. Coffee machine its a nice touch and from Sinnouk coffee so home grown in Laos, same for our breakfast and outlet coffee from the hills of Luang Prabang and Saffron coffee sustainable. fresh milk and sugar has been added along with our refill glass bottles we have made a huge saving only in glass water bottles. most of the hotel we have looked at being a sustainable and reusable Hotel, shame we did not show you the kitchen gardens below. pool towels are on the plan for changing after the new year, we have seen this fraying. regarding the slippers it's embarrassing for both parties and we understand this though its not just one pair from 74 rooms as we have a lot of groups the laundry bags and slippers are the most popular items to be removed without asking? I would never do this in their house so we don't expect to happen in ours. there is information in the compendium outlying this. over a period of one year we may loose 3 to 400 pairs and laundry bags this is a huge expense, when we are trying to save in others such as reusing and having plants that regenerate both have to come hand in hand and people who take without asking its not fair for us and our staff who need to ask the question. if he is a collector then he should have asked to pay for one pair. delighted you enjoyed your stay and our apologies for this embarrassment though we have our policy and we need to follow. Best regards, John Morris Williams General Manager

I stayed in room 215 booking through agoda between 28th October and 3rd November.

From the beginning I felt really welcome. The staff are so genuinely welcoming and friendly. Had a lovely room and nice mountain view from the balcony. The bed was slighly harder than I'm used to

does hotel provide free pick up service from airport?
No it does not. But you can get a taxi from the airport for $11 USD to the hotel (which is what we did) and going back to the airport from the hotel, you can get a taxi from the hotel for $19 USD or take a tuk tuk for $7 USD (which is what we did) and it was great! The hotel called the tuk tuk for us. Enjoy your stay!
