The hotel BANKHOTEL ART CONGRESS HALL hospitably welcomed the guests and residents of the city on June 8, 2018. The hotel is located in Lviv in a reconstructed building of the former Austro-Hungarian bank in the historic part of the city. The branch of the Austro-Hungarian Bank was built during the period of the city’s rapid economic development, which took place from 1870 to 1914. Its designing was undertaken by two architects, graduates of the Lviv Polytechnic University, Edmund Zhikhovich and Michal Luzhetsky. Young architects worked together on the basis of the Zhykhovich design bureau. This bureau was famous for a large number of designed and later constructed buildings. Its main peculiarity is the use of secessional and modernist interpretations of various historical styles. In 2015 the Creative Architectural Workshop “Kudin” took up the design of the reconstruction and adaptation of historic bank building into a hotel.

From the moment we were picked up at the airport by the Bank Hotel we felt nothing but warmth, friendliness and luxury. The staff was always in their toes and seemed as if they could read my mind. The food and drinks were superb and the suite was fabulous. I would suggest adding Netflix to their television options as I am from America and the only channel I could understand was CNN. The hotel is brand new. Stuff is very polite and nice. However we met some misunderstanding, all was resolved for us with a nice compensation. Very nice and modern rooms, and a tasty breakfast with big variety of dishes. Restaurant is nice as well, food was delicious. And the most important - it’s located literally in the very city center nearby a park.

The hotel is located in a quiet street near the busy centre. Breakfasts are excellent, rooms are good, overall the place is very quiet. They have excellent staff - receptionists, bar staff, concierges - all are not only happy to help but also are willing to help - in order to make your stay as comfortable as possible
