This little boutique hotel is wonderfully situated in Old Town. Its an easy walk to anywhere in the Old Town and outside the gates. The rooms are large (not sure why they have kitchenettes with all the great restaurants so close); bathroom is lovely; no noise from outside and the service from the gentlemen who work the front desk is first class. They help with luggage; dining reservations; suggestions of what to do; and assure you have a "picnic" breakfast for early AM tours or going to the airport. Even though we didn't have hot water in our room the last 1 1/2 days, we can't complain because of the superb service. In other locations we would have asked for room rate adjustment but we wouldn't do that to "our friends" at the front desk.

Highly recommend this boutique, intimate hotel. Location was amazing- right in center city in Old Town. Our room was very quiet and large. Service was impeccable. George, from the front desk, was able to call on behalf of the hotel and arrange reservations at the best restaurants. They also arranged a lovely private boat. Staff was responsive on emails. A beautiful Breakfast was delivered every morning to the room. When I come back, I will stay here again and will recommend to friends and family.

A quaint boutique hotel in old town Dubrovnik. No cars allowed but they arranged a driver to pick us up at the airport and then staff took our luggage and walked us to the hotel. We stayed in the cottages across the alley-there are only 3. Each night we told them when we wanted breakfast and in the morning a chef was waiting to cook us breakfast. They also arranged our tour to Montenegro. There are no elevators but staff carried our luggage. The staff is kind, responsive and hard working.

The St. Joesph’s location is perfect in the heart of Dubrovnik’s old town. We were assisted with our luggage as cars are not allowed within the walls. Our large modern room was so comfortable and lovely! The staff was perfection! Your breakfast is brought to your room at whatever time you desire. The green smoothie was delicious and I meant to ask what it was! The gracious owner, Gordana, happened to be in town, and we loved meeting her and her adorable daughter. She mentioned that they could do a private dinner with their chef, and we chose to do that our last night in town. My husband said it was his favorite meal while in Croatia! The chef was so talented, and we enjoyed talking with Angela who assisted serving. It was the perfect evening! Nothing tops being able to wake up early, leave your hotel and walk the the empty streets of a usually crowded city. I highly recommend the St. Joseph for its luxury, the kindness of its staff and its delicious food. Many thanks to Nemanja for all of his help during our stay…we enjoyed meeting you!

You can't beat the location and the friendly staff. The hotel is more like an apartment-style airbnb but the rooms are comfortable and quaint. The staff bent over backwards to give us good service. The best part was them helping to arrange airport pick up and drop off and someone to carry our bags to the hotel. They are located right in the middle of everything, but the room was really quiet and the air conditioning worked great. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best hotel to stay in Dubrovnik! We stayed for three nights and cannot rate this hotel more highly! The staff were professional and attentive, friendly and helpful. Nemanja met our car to take our bags to the hotel and was so helpful and friendly he made us feel at home. Angela was also great - friendly and professional and cooked some beautiful breakfast feasts for us, such a great team! The rooms are beautiful and the location is magical. They even gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary- must stay here A+!

I had the opportunity to spend three nights alone in Dubrovnik. I opted for the Deluxe Attic Room in the Annex Building because I liked the character of the room. Three flights up were not an issue as I was assisted with my luggage arriving and departing. I was visiting Croatia during a heatwave and was welcomed to a very cool air conditioned room. There was an automatic shade for the skylight. Breakfast was made to order at my preferred time, and absolutely delicious. My room even happened to be ready when I arrived for check-in at 8am (although I certainly wouldn’t expect this). The staff went above and beyond in all aspects during my stay. Can’t wait to revisit Dubrovnik and stay here again.

Great boutique hotel in the center of town. Staff were all friendly and attentive. Rooms were impeccable and exactly as promised! Beds were comfortable and AC was cold during the heat of the summer. They were able to acccommodate the use of one of our three rooms on early arrival the first morning, as we arrived before checkin time…so our group had a place to freshen up before heading to the beach nearby. Breakfast and coffee in the room each morning was a nice treat and very well done. They arranged transport to and from the airport/ferry terminals and everything went smoothly, including being there personally for pickup and drop off. Overall a great way to start our Croatian vacation. We would definitely return!

Lovely hotel, rather like a very upmarket B&B; great location and excellent staff. It’s right in the Old Town. A fantastic location; difficult to find but a staff member came and found us after our taxi driver had abandoned us at a random car park on the outskirts. That wasn’t easy as the taxi driver had also not told him exactly where we were. There is a restaurant next door and there was some noise from that but not a great deal. Our room was lovely: exposed brickwork & timbers; very atmospheric and even a chandelier. The ensuite was modern with Elemis toiletries and a good shower. The breakfasts weren’t to our taste: too many sweet & sugary items but they were fresh and served promptly at the time requested everyday. With hindsight, we should have asked for some less sweet items and feel sure the staff would have obliged. The hotel and room were clean but housekeeping wasn’t perfect: we had to ask for a number of items to be replenished, which they always were. A really nice hotel; would happily return.

OK, the location is super - right in the middle of the old town. Plenty of sites, restaurants, cafes, harbor all within a 3-minute walk. This is not really a hotel in the traditional sense. More like 6 tiny studio apartments in an old building. There's no lobby, no common area. Breakfast is served in the room. The room itself was clean, but quite small. Biggest issue was the price. I'm not afraid to pay for a luxury experience, but this place is seriously overpriced for the level of service and quality they are offering. More like an airbnb that you'd expect to pay much less for.
