#16 of 82 hotels in Dubrovnik
Travellers' Choice
Situated on the beautiful peninsula of Lapad, the hotel's dramatic cliffside location, below the aromatic, pine-covered Petka woods, affords spectacular views in every direction. Fully renovated in 2014, each of the 308 contemporary rooms and suites all have private balconies and beautiful sea views. Great food and excellent service prevail. During your stay, you will be tempted to try out everything that is on offer: four swimming pools, one of which is indoors, hotel beach, tennis courts, fabulous snorkeling and a PADI diving centre, as well as a leafy jogging path and walking routes through the woods behind the hotel.

Really impressed with the Hotel Dubrovnik and their efforts to allow guests to have a great relaxing holiday whilst maintaining COVID safe conditions. The bed rooms are excellent with beautiful sea views and stunning sunsets. The suite was very spacious and well equipped. . The outside pool and terracing was exceptionally clean and well maintained. So nice to visit a hotel with lots of sunbeds and no requirement to do the ealy morning rush to secure a spot! We were on a full board basis and like many previous reviews the breakfast is outstanding with a great choice of food and a really good omelette station. Evening meals were not quite up to the standard of breakfast and tended to be a little variable in quality. Positively there was always a good choice though. The Covid secure service was a little slow at times, but fully understandable under the circumstances. The spa on the top floor is amazing and well worth a few hours relaxing in. The gym on the top floor was OK but a little cramped and lacks the range of equipment you would expect from this standard of hotel. A few minor comments..... Didn't like the drones flying overhead, but credit to the hotel security for reacting to my concerns and getting them stopped. This is a conference centre and was very busy and noise at times. Less of a complaint against the hotel and more about the conference attendees behaviour - shame on the Olympic Committee!!! Extra care has to be taken when entering the sea as the steps were extremely slippery. Overall great hotel with excellent staff and fully deserving of its reputation.

Following the relaxation of recent covid travel restrictions we decided to get back into the saddle with our travel and holiday plans. We decided on a green country and Croatia stood out. This hotel is awesome, and is in a great location to explore the local scenery as well as the Dubrovnik old town. Facilities are excellent with beautiful indoor and outdoor pools. Service is superb in all areas. This hotel and its location enables you to easily decide on staying on site for all meals or easily get to the old town via the local bus service which stops directly outside the hotel as the last stop. Breakfast was included which consisted of a full buffet with endless options. The room was large and all rooms have a great balcony view. We couldnt fault this hotel and cannot wait to go back!! Thank you for a wonderful time. Highly recommended

We had a great week - the hotel has fantastic views, all the staff are super efficient and friendly and breakfasts plentiful! Super easy to get bus for short ride into the old town, we got a 7 day Dubrovnik card which included entry to the walls etc and also 10 bus tickets. It also included bus ticket to Cavtat 30 minutes away which was a lovely lunch out. We enjoyed the walk from the hotel around the coastline in Babin Kuk.

You enter the hotel at roof level. Indeed, the hotel is built on the side of the cliff. Nice bar to have a drink after a visit of the splendid city of Dubrovnik. You can also enjoy the swimming pool. Breakfast on the terrace with beautiful view on the Adriatic see. Just to leave with a little nostalgia. Quiet, confortable and clean.

The experience was great and the great part was the lovely staff. The one drawback was the bar staff, which consisted of 4 members, who didn't find it necessary to walk the pool deck to see if anyone wanted a beverage. Apparently, you would have to go to the bar to secure a beverage. The pool staff was also a bit wanting. Instead of patroling the pool deck, they stood just inside or outside the main entrance to the pool area, waiting to service anyone who was just arriving. They could have easily been more helpful by walking the pool deck, removing towels from the chairs vacated by guests and making the guests feel more welcome.
