Hotel situated in a great posotion in Lapad handy for the PEBBLE beach and beautiful walks around the coast, and very handy for bars and restaurants, although as it was coming to the end of the season it was extremely quiet. Its very easy to get to Dubrovnik old town with a 15 min bus ride on either the No6 or No 4. We were bed and breakfast and this was nice with a very large choice of things to eat. There is a very nice pool area outside with a bar only and a nice inside pool area gym and spa. The grounds are not great and need a bit of TLC. The room is basic and clean with a chiller not a fridge, tea and coffee making facilities but ad hoc as to when they were replenished. Before booking check on the work being done around the hotel, as unfortunately for us our room was not on the sea view side, and the VERY VERY noisy building work started at 7am until 7pm with continuous digging and drilling, that apparently had just started, so we were driven out of our room every day not even able to sit on the balcony, if you are even more unfortunate like us and on the top floor and the weather is bad, your bedroom roof feels like it is being blown off and the wind whistles through the room very loudly to the point I had to put towels and rugs up against the door for a sort of peaceful night. Despite many trips to reception to ask if we could move (as the hotel was by no means full) there was always an excuse as to why a decision could not be made. It completely ruined our holiday, as we were there for a whole week !! I would advise to take euros as surrounding bars and restaurants offered a discount for cash. Average price for a large beer and glass of wine 17 euros and no meal was less than 20 euros. The reataurants towards the beach offered lots of seafood and are really luxurious.

Allocated room in annex for a 3 night stay. Strongly recommend choosing a different hotel as rooms in the annex are grim. There are massive issues with cleanliness. It’s clear from the build up of grime and mould that the problems have existed for some time. Hotel did nothing to rectify the situation despite two complaints. Such a shame as the main hotel looks like a different world. Major work on other annex buildings has been paused, but grounds are visually unappealing. Regardless of the building work, there is a general lack of care of the outside areas which are very untidy. There is also major noisy construction work just in front of the hotel. Hotel seems to be used by tour companies and guests stay for short periods. Just as well. Two standard gin and tonics in the bar were billed at an extortionate 29 Euros. The same drinks were available in surrounding bars for a fraction of that price.

A good hotel with very friendly staff, great rooms and the eatery is well suited to the number of guests. The breakfast and dinner was very nice and enjoyable, a large selection that suited the taste of all in our party. We had a room facing the car park and building works.. I would definately recommend a sea view if possible. The hotel is surrounded by loads of restaurants and close to the bus. We left it late in the season so a lot of the surroundings were closed, but a good base to go out and do.

Not bad at all would reccomend Stayed on for 3 nights after our cruise. Well situated close to a number of bars, restaurants and the beach. Good transport links to the old town. Nice room, comfy bed and a great shower. View over the carpark and some nearby building work. Very small balcony Half board plenty of choice for breakfast and dinner at the buffet in a large light and airey dining room. Only issue 5 euros for a large bottle of water? Large pool area with a new pool bar. Beach Towels available free from spa on your way out to the pool area. Decent sunbeds and umbrella's and nice well maintained gardens

Stayed here for 5 nights and really enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The hotel is ideally located a short walk from the beach and within easy walking distance of some great restaurants. Our room was clean and spacious, with a small balcony (unfortunately not looking out towards the beach/sea) and a good sized bathroom. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the pool area was a nice place to relax after some sightseeing or just to soak up some sun. There is a nice bar between the 2 pools serving cocktails, beer and soft drinks with a nice seating area with plenty of shade. The bus stop for the number 6 bus to Old Town is about a 5 minute walk away, plus you can buy a bus ticket at the same bus stop or collect your bus tickets if you have bought a Dubrovnik Pass. Recommended nearby restaurants are Pizzeria Papillon and Restaurant Lapad (just turn right out at the car park gate and they're just up the road).

Stayed at the Grand Hotel Park for three nights as part of a tour. It's located around what I would call the peninsula that makes up Dubrovnik. It's a glamorous hotel with good facilities, fantastic pools & pool bar. Restaurant is huge & breakfast has plenty of choice! There are a lot of restaurants, a very short walk away & a walkway around the shoreline if you feel like a stroll. Roms are very well equipped, except they have tiny bottles of body wash instead of soap which are next to useless & are not replaced. Would I stay here again, maybe

This a clean, efficient and friendly hotel. Though some of the equipment is a a little worn, the reception staff are able to organise a prompt remedy. The food is of a high quality and though the choice is limited in each session there is enough variety over several days. All the rooms are a short distance from the lifts. These are quite small taking only four people comfortably. We didn’t experience any problems but it could be difficult if the hotel were busy. The pools are well maintained and of a useful size. The splash pool has jets to add to the fun and is adjacent to the bar should you wish to be served whilst bathing. There are plenty of sun loungers and towels are provided on request. The number of parasols was limited as it was the end of season and many were damaged but they were adequate for the numbers present. There is a garden area adjacent to the pool area but the access was blocked off. This may be incorporated later. Adjacent buildings are being renovated but no work was being done on our stay. Hopefully this will be completed out of season. There are a large number of bars, restaurants and ice parlours nearby and a supermarket down the road for any supplies. It is a short walk to the beach and coastal path which affords several walks, including nearby hills. There are several spots with steps down to the sea for swimming and snorkeling. There are bus routes within easy walking distance. A Dubrovnik pass is useful if you’re a tourist as it covers access to several sites and free bus travel, though it is possible to walk to the old city from the hotel. It is best to check online when large cruise ships are due as this leads to more congestion in tourist areas. Public toilets cost 1€ and some take cards.

We visited the hotel for 3 nights after our cruise. Prior to our visit we had been pre-warned that there was some building work going on at the pool bar, but that it would be “definitely “ finished by the date of our expected arrival. But it was NOT. However due to possibly it being very hot, or it being the weekend there was very little work going on by the contractors, so it didn’t really bother us. The view from our room was amazing, looking out on to the sea and Sunset beach. Our room was lovely, nice big bed, gorgeous modern bathroom, plenty of wardrobes and drawers. Shower was very good but the height of the bath was very high so we had to be careful getting out of the shower. Complementary bottles of water in the fridge. Hair dryer, lovely high end toiletries We were half board Pool area was very nice, despite the lack of pool bar. Pool was heated by the sun, and was very hot at this time of the year. Plenty of sun beds, complementary pool towels, but you had to make sure you gave it back otherwise they would charge you for it. Breakfast - lots of choice, very nice. Evening meal - if you were a bit late like 8.15 (closed at 9pm) there would be very little choice left. If you were early 7pm then good choice. Delicious ice cream and deserts. Good variety of food. Lunch menu - was limited and was expensive, but it was not much different to the other nearby restaurants. There is a supermarket less than 5 mins walk were you can get nice snacks from the bakery, packet of crips, soft drinks. So all we needed to get us to tea time. Evening staff in the restaurant were not very attentive, the young staff members were messing about with each other, laughing and talking. We were part of Tui and we got complementary water with our evening meal, but others didn’t. The hotel is very well located in the Lapad region, lots and lots of bars and restaurants near Sunset beach which is amazing place to visit in the evening too. The building next door is derelict and is having some work done on it, but it didn’t have any work men on site when we were there. Overall a very relaxing hotel and area, I would definitely visit this hotel again

In a good position close to bay and bars, 10mins on bus to Dubrovnik Old town are the good points, pool and spa are good too. The food is like 1970s school dinners and bar prices sky high. Building work ongoing, so check.
