We arrived around 2130 at night and met Anna, one of the most conscientious and helpful concierge members I've ever had the pleasure to find. She brought us dishes so we could eat the food we had brought with us and offered to get us information about walking tours of Split. She was so patient with us tired Americans. The breakfast was good, as was the dinner we ordered from one of the restaurants that caters to the hotel. The room was nice and quiet and clean.

We stayed here for two nights while on tour of Croatia. We had a large, high ceilinged room on the second floor overlooking the front road. It provided two beds, a small sitting area, TV on a desk, a large cupboard with safe, and a large bathroom with a good sized shower. Like our other hotels in Croatia, it was very clean.

The front desk staff were very helpful. They came to open the safe (a common problem as people leave them locked), and provided maps, directions and recommendations for restaurants. The breakfast service was also very good; lots of bread and pastries, fruit and some veg, cold meats and cheeses, eggs and sausages, lots of condiments and good coffee. And there is a market across the street and a bakery two doors away, which are useful.

Two minor issues were i) the elevator will only handle 2-3 people, especially with luggage, and ii) it is a fair walk to Diocletian's palace, and easy to get confused on the return to the hotel until you know the way. That said, I would very much recommend the Globo for staying in Split.

I stayed here for 3 nights and was a very good experience. I emailed the hotel before I arrived and they responded very quickly each time (less than 30 minutes) and were very helpful with my queries.
The staff on the front were friendly and helpful, particularly Ana. They went out of their way throughout our stay, to give us information and help us with any questions we had. I was able to arrange the tour to Krka waterfalls through the hotel. You can also book a number of other tours at the reception. The breakfast was of good quality. The selection was not a varied as some hotels, nevertheless the food was good and fresh.
The hotel room was clean, secure, with a good location in Split. It was walking distance into town. There is a small supermarket opposite the hotel too.

I spent 2 nights in this hotel where I appreciated the welcome of the staff, the relative proximity to the city center: 10 minutes walk from the old town, 20 minutes from the port, 30 to 35 minutes from the first beach . In Split, to get closer, I think you have to pay a lot more. The rooms are comfortable, but the decor is outdated. Breakfast is average for a 4 star hotel. The downside is the view of an unpleasant environment: a supermarket and an unsanitary building. That said, I do not regret choosing this hotel in exchange with another more modern and chic one at the same price but much further away. In Split, it's definitely worth doing everything on foot, otherwise it's impossible to park.

Went for 2 nights on a Rick Steves tour. It's an older hotel a bit far from the old town. The bathtub is unusually tall and very slick. Take note that it is common in Split to smoke in restaurants... we tried a local pizza place (so we didn't have to walk back down to the touristy area again) and as the restaurant filled up everyone lit up. Rick might want to check out other hotels in this (wonderful) town which caters to tourists. There is a nice drop off laundry close to the taxi round-about at the Riva. They were able to accommodate my scent-free and no-softener request: "just like we do for the baby clothes".

There are two types of rooms, apparently the economical one is in a basement that smells of humidity and we slept there one night, but in no case was it included in the reservation. When we complained about this, with the consequent displeasure since they told us that it was the one they had, they moved us to a room on the second floor. Hotel well located 10 minutes from the center and if you have a car it is a good choice because there is the option of parking on the street. Rooms on the upper floors are bright and comfortable. The only thing if you are going to book, ask if the room is located in the basement, although if you don't mind, go ahead and they were also spacious but with little light and a musty smell.

Stayed 2 nights as part of a group tour. Had a top floor room which was spacious; twin beds, two chairs, a desk, mini bar/fridge and plenty of space to move around and to put our luggage. Big windows looking out towards the mountains let us keep a close eye on when the rain stopped!
Bathroom had a bath with shower over, but bathtub was not full length and was very high to step into. Bit of a worry if we'd slip when getting out (and we're only in our 30s) so would question practicality for some guests.
Others in our group had single rooms and were in the basement with limited light so seems can be quite variable experience.
Hotel is not in Split tourist centre- it's around 15mins walk to the Diocletian palace or waterfront. Fairly straightforward navigation but do take a (free) map from reception.
Breakfast was awkward. There weren't nearly enough tables or space for the number of rooms and not enough staff to clear tables quickly or replenish items as they ran out. Seemed popular with groups so if a whole group comes at same time there's no space for anyone else to sit.
When all items were stocked there was enough choice of food to find something but quite limited for each option. Glad we did not stay longer as would have become very repetitive.

I have been a part of this beautiful hotel for two weeks, the minute I entered the building I knew that it was going to be a one in a million experience. The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful aroma, then I went to reception where I was met by the fabulous General Manager Marina and the gorgeous receptionist Ana. The whole atmosphere just lifted my spirits as being away from home for two weeks I knew I’d be at home here. I met all staff even the hotel owner who was a fantastic gentleman. Within two days it was like I was apart of this amazing family, Jure, Tomo, Lenard and so many more. Although a 4⭐️ I personally would give this hotel 10⭐️
Every room here is amazing comfortable, bright and the effort put into its furnishings is top class. I cannot recommend this hotel much more than I have, it’s just amazing. Hopefully I’ll be back and this time I will bring my family, love to everyone at Hotel Globo, Split, Croatia. ♥️♥️♥️

We stayed at the Hotel Globo for one night before going to Hvar. We had the warmest welcome and this continued with all staff who were so friendly, spoke excellent English and went above and beyond to help us and other guests. Including helping people to charge their mobile phones whilst waiting in reception.
The rooms were very clean and comfortable. We would recommend this as a good place to stay.

located on a street about 15mns easy from the main tourist area and waterfront but away from the madness. Close to cafes and restaurants and across from a little supermarket which can be handy. Lovely wood, plush carpets, comfy if firm beds and very nice helpful friendly staff. Breakfasts each day had a range of the usual choices, from eggs, bacon, hams etc to pastries, croissants, cereals and fresh fruits, juices, tea, coffee was from a machine but tolerable. Quiet and comfortable.
