The floor of the shower rolled under our feet as if water or air was trapped between layers. We thought we would fall. Owner was friendly but the place is showing its age. The room didn't seem that clean, either.
The room is clean and the staff tries their best. That being said, I would not recommend staying here. The walls are paper thin. They allow pets and the dog in the room next door barked constantly. You can hear your neighbors walking around and opening and closing doors all night. The beds are made of some weird sheet metal that reverberates if you accidentally kick it and creaks and groans every time you move. There is no bathtub (did not realize this when booking and am traveling with a child who is afraid of the shower). Shower is some weird, square shower/tub hybrid that only has a shower head. While it is clean, it is very stained and cracking. Maybe I should have done some more research to realize that this was the type of place people live in for long term stays instead of a weekend visit, as we intended.…
The place is showing it’s age a bit but the owner and his family are very friendly and the price is right. When my booking didn’t show up on their information they gave me the rate I had booked without any trouble despite being almost full. We will be back in the future as we have family nearby. Room was clean and had fridge and microwave, nice TV and sofa and desk. The shower looked dirty but that was because it was in need of resurfacing not because it was dirty
