If you set your expectations realistically, you will appreciate this hotel. It's excellent for the price. We had two suites. One needed to be painted and the remote for the air conditioner was hard to work. The...

Free parking was great and check-in was easy with friendly staff. When I arrived at the room, it did smell like cigarette smoke. The room itself was pretty much a generic corporate hotel. The beds were comfortable...

This place was exactly what we needed. It is pretty, clean, safe and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. While they do serve breakfast and the coffee is VERY good, there are places within walking distance if you want a traditional hot Panamanian breakfast. I enjoyed a store that was nearby called Sol de la India. The Panama Canal brings in goods from all over the world, so this particular import store is packed with things from India, China, and even some touristy Panamanian items. If you want to buy molas (the fabric art that the Kuna's make) this store will have them at economy pricing rather than tourist spot pricing. This is an easy area to get a taxi and there is always someone on staff to unlock the gate to the street.
