The hotel is in a great location and the nightly rate was a great value compared to other big cities. Just a 10 minutes to walk to the financial district and maybe 25-30 minutes to Casco Viejo. Room was comfortable and spacious. Maybe the best aspect of the stay was the breakfast, which was quite comprehensive, and was capped by delicious omelets made by Yodalis. I would definitely stay there again.

My room was on the 17th floor over looking the financial district of Panama City. The architectural award winning F&F Tower was outside my window in all its green glory. The room quickly became my home for 11 days of peace and tranquility. The staff was very attentive and always accommodating to my needs during my stay. The food in the restaurant was casual but innovative and morning breakfast buffets were over the top with huge bowls of fresh fruit, omelettes, and made to order waffles. It is an amazing spread. I had dinner there every night and loved it. Two members of the wait staff
Jobeth and Marilim always greeted me with smiles and made my dinnertime a delight.
The front desk staff was always helpful and eager to please the patrons. The operations were smooth and amazing at times when they reconfigured the dining room for wedding parties to intimate small table dining. They know how to do it right. ENJOY!

Have stayed here on two different trips to Panama. Rooms are large and comfortable, great staff---very helpful and solve any problems you have quickly and graciously. Breakfast buffet has lots of choices with lots of fresh fruit and cooked dishes.

Terrible attention and organization. Positive: nice rooms, and fast maintenance service.
Negative: Too much to say: My friends and I decided to spend the new year's eve in this hotel. As we wanted something quieter, we did not choose to pay the $100 plus taxes big event for the new year's party on the 4th floor, but instead we decided to have a quiet dinner at the Aurum restaurant on the 5th floor. We made the reservation 5 days in advance. On the afternoon of December 31, they sold out the party on the 4th floor, and decided to continue selling it at the restaurant on the 5th floor, charging $75 plus taxes for the restaurant, despite having already made a reservation, and obtaining from the hotel's event staff, a different information for the dinner.
The hotel staff did not have clear information, and the line of people who had made reservations at the restaurant, now charging $75 the entrance was very large, all of them pissed off for the last minute change without notification. The guests who had booked their dinner reservatiob, were very angry, they want a relax moment at dinner, not a party.
My friends and I had to be in the middle of the new year in a slide, looking for restaurants that would accept last minute reservations. Lucky us we got one, far away from the hotel (that wasn't our plan for that special night).
The pool, completely sealed, closed without ventilation and a strong smell of chlorox. We did not see security measures, floors without anti-slip, very dangerous ... and they had no towels !! guests soaked back to their rooms without ones.
This hotel has awful management, bad organization of events and poor customer service. I do not return to this hotel or recommend it.

Outdated worn room, water stains, smudged marks around sink, something used a pen to write all over the vanity. Coffee cups still had coffee stains all over from previous guests. Sayed in the junior suite; they should have a kitchenette with an actual fridge instead of just a minibar to charge you. Also, there would also be a TV in the living room, not only the bedroom. I enjoyed breakfast but felt very disappointed because the junior suite did not live up to measure in luxury and comfort. I feel like I paid too much for it.

Covid quarantine area of the hotel only (I cannot speak for the common commercial rooms if they are being sold at this time...):
For folks staying here as part of Covid quarantine, your experience will be different than the non-covid area reviews. The covid quarantine areas of this property where I stayed for 10 days are serviced by 6 people caring for 250 guests. The rooms are modified with easy to clean but uncomfortable flooring, our shower had a significant amount of mold & Hot water in the sink & shower is intermittent. All services are provided by hospital/nursing staff in the area & the ration of staff/guests is 6/250-guests. Unless you have a dietary need, you cannot order outside food to your room; expect 3 prison-quality meals/day. I know the folks managing the covid rooms are doing their best, but they are overwhelmed & you will feel their pain as a quarantining guest more than them...

My only issue with this hotel was that I had to beg the front desk for more coffee for the in room coffee machine. and they only provided powdered coffee mate in room. When I asked at the front desk they sent up 2 only packs and when I asked for more the guy told me he wasn't allowed to give me any more...

My son (8) and I stayed here from February 15-18, 2020. The lobby is neat, clean, and has prompt and friendly concierge to great you upon entry. So, you can imagine that I was rather annoyed that the check-in process was so long. There was quite a long line. They had 2 people working the desk. It took around 30 minutes just to get to the front of the line to start my check-in process. We finally got our keys, and headed to our room. I was immediately hit with the feeling of booking regret once I entered the room. The floors were stained, the furniture had esthetic damage, the wall paper had what appeared to be oil stains or something on it, etc. I tried to suck it up, but I couldn’t deal. I called the desk to request a new room. I received the new room key, and was met with the same disappointment with the 2nd room. So, I was pretty set on just checking out and switching hotels. At this time they were down to one front desk attendant (the person who checked me in). He was very kind, and called his manager without me asking. The manager was visibly very annoyed that I noticed the imperfections in the rooms I was given. However, he offered me a new upgraded room for my inconvenience. I was still unmoved, and ready to check out. The desk attendant kindly asked me to at least see the 3rd room before checking out. I obliged. The third room was much better. There were no stains or furniture with blemishes. I’m not sure if the manager didn’t say much to me because of a language barrier or something, but he certainly wasn’t the friendliest. Also, I had to go to the front desk every day of my stay to reactivate my room key (annoying). Nonetheless, the same front desk attendant was always there and always very pleasant. Overall, I don’t think I’d stay here again. I hope that they make some much needed upgrades to their rooms. Even given my woes, I hope that the front desk attendant who checked me in gets a pat on the back for being so personable.

Fantastic value. Nice. Modern. Up to American standards. The view of sunrise from my very comfortable bed was a highlight. I worked while I stayed there and the housekeeping staff was very accommodating--apparently sneaking in when I was gone for brief periods of time and taking care of everything. Nice, hot rain shower. Modern looks, coffee in the room.
A few things to consider: the location is a little ways away from everything (but, if you're willing to walk a 1/2 mile or so, you'll be fine), restaurant prices in the area are more expensive than anticipated, and you'll hear some road noise from the major thoroughfare next to the hotel. However, there is a really nice mall nearby and you can get anywhere in the city by Uber for next to nothing.
Well worth the $130/night!

Stayed 5 nights at the hotel. The hotel room has good amenities and comfortable bed, although the bathroom sink may be high for small children. The room was clean and modern, very large for most hotels and a great view of the city (I was in floor 21).
Staff is friendly and helpful. My check in/out experience was fast, but it could be slow at times as the hotel seems popular.
Breakfast menu is fine; nothing special but will satisfy your appetite with a good mix of protein/starch/fruits/breads plus an omelet station. Cafeteria in the first floor makes good coffee.
The hotel is centrally located so is easy to get a taxi to any of your destinations.
