This hotel located at the best area of Panama City, is excellent, unfortunately I spent only 2 nights, it is great for business, enjoyment, and to have a lot of fun, if you are lucky you can recover the spent money in the casino located next to hotel. I do recommend this wonderful hotel.
Well my experience in the Hilton hotel was amazing, the room was clean and smell good,do to pandemic in the breakfast room we were being served, everyone was very good to me.I can’t forget Francisco he tried so hard to accommodate me with a beautiful room and a terrific view ,he took very good care of me.Rafael before the pandemic he was in the diamond room but it was closed they relocated him i was so happy to see him working at the restaurant/bar he always look out for me.I have been coming to this hotel every year for three years in a row i would recommend it to everyone.
The Hilton Panama was nearby where I was working in Panama City. The staff was welcoming from my arrival throughout the stay. The rooms were spacious and I had a wonderful view over the bay. Staff was always looking to help. The included breakfast offered good variety and an outstanding selection of fresh fruit. The entire location was very clean. Excellent location in the Paitilla neighborhood.
We were met at the airport by a chauffeur who got our luggage's, took us through Immigration/Customs and then to the hotel. Assist us with checking in and everything. Service by front desk and all staff members were superb. The ambiance at the entrance and front desk area was absolutely stunning. I stayed on the 23rd floor and my suite and view would make you not want to leave your room. The hotel also has a casino. The location is in close proximity of restaurants and malls.
I am a flight attendant and travel to many hotels. I highly recommend this place. This hotel is beautiful, very clean and staff is very nice. I would highly recommend and stay there again. It is in a great location too.
At the writing of this review, we are currently staying here. I really wanted to love this hotel. But, the lack of communication made that so impossible. We thought we were paying extra for a room that came with a balcony. We realized it did not have a balcony and we requested a room change for the same room, but with a balcony. We specified that we wanted the same room, but simply wanted a balcony. What we got was a smaller room, with a completely different layout, with a balcony, and a more obstructed view. It simply does not make any my sense. I'm so over it, at this point, and my next move would be to a completely different hotel that actually seems to care about loyalty members. Just completely unacceptable. We literally went from an open floor plan room, to a room with lots of walls and separation between spaces. It wouldn't be so bad if I had not made several inquiries regarding the layout.…
Central location . Very spacious room . Excellent breakfast . AC and satellite TV Lots and bars , restaurants within in walking distance from hotel Staff pleasant , friendly and helpful Easy walk to old city from hotel approximately one hour walk
Looking at reviews i was a bit worried but i was totally wrong. The fantastic service started before we even arrived with an email from Jose B Guest Service Operator asking wonderful questionbefore our stay and informing us the breakfest buffet is from 6:30am to 10:30am. The pool is open from 8am to 8pm. The uber ride from the airport was only $14 and was great. Once we got here it continued to be fantastic from the door being opened and greeted to check in with Marcelino whom was welcoming . He acknowledged our Hilton status, upgraded our room to ocean view and we had a special surprise for our anniversary. Drinks at blue bar by Gabriel so on point some of the best drinks I've had. yes drinks were quite expensive for this area but since were from Chicago it was what we are used to paying for $12 to $15 a drink. The pool bar loved the location but seemed the drinks were more expensive and didnt seem to taste as good as the blue bar not bad by any means just Gabriel had this magical touch not sure how. We had breakfasts only one day out of the 2 because we had a early flight but the breakfasts was amazing so much to choose from and omelettes prepared by Tubi wow and the fresh juice bar. The bed was comfortable and easy to stay in unfortunately our first night it was hard to sleep as someone was having a party and i could hear the music echoing but that's ok im sound sensitive. Check out by Addis was wonderful. I had one issue with our room that was taken care right away and really not big of a deal. And the awesome service continued as we got an email from the manger thanking us for our stay and asking how everything was. Ok so i do have my 3 odds for this hotel. the hotel has 2 elevators to get you to your room from street to lobby and then separate from lobby to the rooms. Also the hot tub was barely hot which was kind of sad. Lastly our room attendant came at 3:30 pm to clean our room which seemed very late and kind of awkward. Since we had just gotten back from spending the day away. But we know now and look forward to staying here again. Also just extra info it costed $4 to uber to the mini rainforest (Metropolitan Natural Park) 15 mins drive from here and $5 to old Town ( Casco Viejo) 15 mins from the hotel. Also the restaurants here do take credit card visa, mc no amex but the servers do ask for cash for tip so be prepared. they do us USA currency. Pool towels need to be obtained from the spa they ask for room number and have to be returned. Lastly there is a store across the street called Good day that has aloe, meds, beer just like a small store. Enjoy.…
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived at about 11am. Our room wasn’t quite ready so we went to lunch at the Society Cafe. It was quite good. Pricey by Panama standards, but a bargain compared to the US. Our ocean view room was great. Very clean and we loved the view. We attended meetings at the hotel and the hotel handled things very well. We enjoyed coffee, snacks and drinks. We loved the breakfasts especially the omelettes and eggs prepared by Tubi. I suppose the only downside was drinks in the bar were quite expensive. Especially for Panama. Most cocktails were between $12 and $15. It was problematic to leave the hotel because 2 elevators to reach the street from hotel rooms. I don’t think much can be done about this. We look forward to staying here again.
The hotels' location is great, with views over the bay and close to shops and restaurants; staff were very accommodating - Addis, Maybel, Genesis, Gabriel -; great breakfast buffet, nice bar area and menu
