We’ve stayed here twice now, and we like the hotel and location, and the price. It’s close to the ocean walk area, stores and the big multi plaza mall. The rooms are renovated and very clean. They have blackout curtains that are automated on a wall by the bed, which I loved. The views from the room can vary but if you pay a little extra you can get a view of the ocean. City view was fine for us. They have free outdoor parking ( not secured but ok. The free breakfast was good, and the dining area overlooked the ocean which was really nice. Staff were great. Highly recommend for a Panama City Trio.
I stayed there. I was going to complain about the health club being to hot, but suddenly a man came in and turned the air-conditioning on. I have nothing to complain about. Maybe a suggestion to have employees wear uniforms to make them more noticeable. I would stay there again . The breakfast was decent and the employees were kind. I heard the place was a Holiday Inn along time ago. It's still a good place to stay.
Good hotel, good breakfast , great location. Missing some amenities . Great water pressure in the shower. It was weird there was no fridge, tissues, or coffee maker in the room. Location is a quick walk to Cinta Costera. Good value hotel, would recommend to travelers staying 1 or 2 nights. I stayed 3 nights
My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights in December and we booked our rooms using booking.com. As a travel agent I know that direct bookings are always better but the rate found on booking.com was much better. When we got there, the reception staff (Clarence I believe his name was) did not want to honor our room, stating that even though there was no way our room description said "bay view" because those rooms arent offered on booking. com so I pulled up my reservation and showed him exactly what the description of the room we paid for was, a Sea view. He was very argumentative and his lack of professionalism was even noticeable on the way he dressed. I really didnt even think he was the receptionist, I though he was maybe doing some repair or something behind the desk. After a few minutes back and forth, we finally got our sea view room which to my surprise it was very clean and spacious. The decor was nice and modern, it looks like they invested money on updating the rooms and hallways but the hotel itself needs a lot of work. This hotel was built in the 60s and it shows! the a/c units look rusty and moldy on the outside, the restaurant decor looks so old and the pool deck, although nice, it could use a little TLC. Overall it was an ok stay, I wouldnt stay there again despite its good location.…
Literally the best quality for the best price. I have stayed twice at Paitilla Inn, my firt time was back in 2018 and everything was right like the fist time. Frint desk stuff veey accomodating and the brakefast was good for what you pay as well. I highly recommend this place.
We visited Panama and stayed at the Plaza Paitilla Inn in a superior room on the 16th floor. The room is very clean and roomy. Our view is stupendous and it is great to watch tides flow in and out from our floor to ceiling window. The rate is very affordable. The staff are helpful and friendly and went above and beyond in helping us arrange testing for our flight back to the USA. The Concerige found us a great driver whom we used throughout our trip. Good food in the restaurant and patio at reasonable prices.
After being accused of stealing pillows from a bedroom my colleagues luggage was searched in the middle of reception to find said pillows needless to say the pillows were not found and absolutely no apology from the hotel when they found no pillows had not been placed in the room in the first place, absolutely disgusting behavior. (2 beds in each room). To add insult to injury not only was my colleague who had the room in question bags searched, another colleague who stayed in a completely different room had his bags searched also. An attempt was asked of me the search my bags of which I refused stating that they better call the police because they'll be the only persons searching me. Embarrassing situation to be searched in the middle of a busy reception is truly truly ridiculous and unacceptable. Insult to injury, not once did any member of staff, which there were quite a few, offered any form of apology. If this is how they treat the guests at this hotel, avoid this hotel at all costs.…
Room with a good view. Modern design. The personale was very nice and during COVID it felt safe to be there. Also it wasn't very expensive so it gives you great value for what you pay.Ps It’s close enough of city centre.
What I can say? Terrible and rude service. Noisy and dirty rooms. Broken beds. Dirty pool. Basically nothing to make up for this hotel. 4 stars? More like a one star. I wouldn’t recommend to anyone visiting panama
Well, The wifi was pretty good. I was able to work online- for long hours - every day from my room. Only one day I had trouble logging in but then it got up and running. The gym was closed the entire time I was there. I would have liked to use it. The lights in the room are real dim at night. hard to do work from the room at night. Pillows are firm and thick- my neck hurt every morning. I was given one bottle of water for the entire 7 days. No coffee maker in the room. I ordered lunch everyday from UBER Eats and wanted to sit in the outside patio and I was told I can only eat there if I order hotel food. They could have been accommodating. As I mentioned, I work long hours and it would have been nice to have a break and sit out there and eat my food. Limited local channels on t.v. Not to be negative but the pictures are deceiving. The pictures portray the pool area as pretty. It isn't as appealing as the pictures.…
