Great location for experiencing a rainforest. That's about it for the positives! I suspect this was once a great property that now lacks needed maintenance. The sliding door to the balcony was off its track; the balcony looked like more rust than solid metal; hand towels and wash clothes are nor provided. The walls are thin and you can hear conversations in the next room. Overall, a bit run down. The staff. Maybe I caught them on a bad day. Sullen and unhelpful are good descriptors. Very good at ignoring any request you might make. Great location if you want to walk through a rainforest. But, you can easily find better places to spend the night.

poor hotel. very neglected. room had hairdryer. had to change rooms 4 times due to ac and other issues. pools are not as pictured..one was only 1/2 full. breakfast only passable. best : mural. worst: general condition. staff listened but unresponsive. not all are queen beds as depicted. very disappointed as not the quality depicted on their site. the exterior is crumbling and rusting away. the interior is at first glance nice until you look again..bad tiles, carpeting, etc. not clean hallways. very disappointed overall.

I will start with the pros. The location of this hotel is absolutely beautiful. Wonderful views of the rainforest and was nice hearing all of the sounds come from it. The staff is very friendly and the complimentary rainforest tour that comes with your stay is really good. Sergio was our Tour Guide and was really informative. He was friendly and gave a good tour. We got to see butterflies, frogs and a sloth. Now for the cons, it takes a lot for our family to complain about a hotel. We are not picky people but we ended up cutting our stay here short a night to move to a different hotel. This is a hotel that looks like it used to be really nice but has seen better days. We were in a suite and a lot of the soft furniture was stained. Stained as in we couldn't really tell what the stains were. My son was going to sleep on the pull-out sofa but it seemed it was broken. We couldn't get it pulled out and it seemed really old and of course stained. There was no bedding for it so we had to go down to the front desk and ask for some which took a really long time to receive. When we finally received it there were stains on the sheets. He ended up just sleeping on the couch without it being pulled out. Between the stained furniture and the sheets we were grossed out. As I mentioned, the staff is really friendly and works hard but it seems like they need a lot more help. There is one restaurant onsite (we did not have the all-inclusive package) and the dinner we had there took three servers to receive. The first server forgot about us, the second one left her shift during it and the third one was finally able to get us our food. This was the overall service of the hotel. They tried helping but were being pulled in a lot of different directions. There was also a wedding and some other kind of event happening there. Also, at this same dinner there was karaoke happening in the restaurant that was really, really loud. Beyond enjoyable loud. We had to move our seats to outside of the restaurant. Please note that you are staying in the rainforest so there are no other restaurants close by without a 15-20 minute drive. You will be reliant on the hotel restaurant. There is no store onsite to buy snacks or anything.

I stayed at this hotel in February 2023. When I left I paid the bill for all the extras I had used. At the ned of March I was charged over USD220 by the hotel when I wasn't even there. At the end of April they charged me again another USD40+. Both of these charges were incorrect as I left Panama on 27 February. They hold your credit card details and they can use them whenever they want. I sent 2 E-Mails to the hotel but didn't get a reply. I then contacted my Visa company and raised 2 disputes. I got the smaller amount refunded (so presumably they thought it was a fraudulent transaction) but I have had to pay the other one (£190) because they claim that the hotel has proved that the bill was genuine. However, when I asked to see the bill and whether it had my signature on it they wouldn't help. This is absolutely awful. If you don't want incorrect charges put on your bill after you have left the hotel I strongly recommend you do not stay at this hotel. If I could give 0 stars I would but the website doesn't allow this.

Hotel overall in bad condition. No hairdryer, the room was always humid, the floors and doors were always wet due to humidity. Many things were simply dirty. The staff is NOT friendly, they have a bus to the mall but they dont even know which one is it, incredible. The carpets are dirty, old and smelly. And food was BAD.

Very nice place if you want to see the nature. Great place for kids- We came alone and got all inclusive. But if you like healthy food and wine then you dont get this included. You can get fries and lots of drinks - Which is also good but just not so much what we like. The tours are nice and we went to the rainforest and hiked for 3 hours . We are happy we came but we are missing better food and also the restaurant is not cosy at all- it is like a cheap bar-

I booked a room for April 2024. It was with booking.com and clearly stated that there was no Pre-payment needed. But hold on, the whole amount was promptly billed on my credit card. After mentioning this issue it was “I am sorry, that’s not our policy”. Now after cancelling , try and get a refund. Been waiting over 2 weeks and now not answering my request. Horrible customer service and has put me off staying here.

The room was very clean, we were always stocked with towels. The pool area was nice. The staff was very helpful. The restaurant staff made us guacamole upon request. The drinks were so fun and so good. The food was delicious. The tours were so fun that the hotel offered.

We had experienced first-hand how the service level in Panama is not always very good, but the experience in that hotel reached a whole new level. We booked a “suite” for 3 people with a dog. First encounter in the lobby where only one elevator was working which required a long wait to be able to board given the 8+ floors in that hotel and the capacity of the elevator. Then came the check-in. No hello, buenos dias, or welcome; a simple head gesture was enough for the guy at the reception. Then the price: booking directly to the hotel with a price for 2 nights, and then the final bill to pay was almost double, not counting the US$ 60.00 PER NIGHT (US$120 for 2 nights) for a middle-size service dog (without taxes) and the taxes on the hotel nights. The man at reception did not provide details; he wrote the final price on a piece of paper. Not very pleased with this first encounter, we went to the “suite” where, unsurprisingly, the sofa bed was not ready. The place was large but completely outdated with a dirty balcony and sad decor. We decided to do a tour and visit the “restaurant” where the scattered tables, dark room and sketchy bar finally convinced us that it may not be a place for us, and we left that same night. Perhaps the golf is OK, but I have my doubts about the tours… for those who like to waste a couple of hundred of bucks, you may want to try…
