Exceptional experience. Very clean rooms, great staff that were helpful and responsive. The hotel location is a plus, making it very easy to get around. The restaurants were good enough, although Moro was a bit overpriced for the quality. The pool bar was not open during our 3 night stay, which was strange.

While our room was clean and had a lovely view of the city,losing $200+ to a in-house thief was quite a surprise! We also had to tell the mini bar stocker repeatedly we didnt use the service,so why was he in our room! We will no longer be using a Mariott room safe. Too many other fine properties to spend my dollars.Shame on the mgmt at the W!

There is a lot to like about this hotel. W was fully booked during our stay so I did not expect any upgrade as Ambassador Elite but I received an upgrade to the 4th category of suites (Marvelous Suite). One more reason I thought we would be stuck in the entry level room is that we arrived at the hotel at 9am. I only informed them about our early arrival at 8:30am so I failed to give them much of a warning, nonetheless our suite was ready when we got there. Suites were fully occupied the night before so it’s not like it was empty overnight and ready for us. They also proactively offered us complimentary breakfast on day of arrival which was a nice touch. F&B was excellent, not only during breakfast but the restaurant for dinner as well. The hot dishes for breakfast changed daily to avoid boredom. Upon departure they gave me a hotel branded polo shirt, very nice! Few hotels are ever perfect, if I had a couple of minor negatives to list it would be that the room was not high quality construction in all regards (I prefer Hotel La Compañia Unbound Collection for hardware), and we were one floor above the pool so pulling the curtains for privacy meant the room was not the brightest even during day light hours. The hotel is not really close to attractions or lots of restaurants, but it's easy to use Uber to get where you want. The traffic in the area can be bad during weekday evening rush hour. Some of the best things about the hotel are the views of downtown and Panama Bay from the rooms, pool and restaurants. We had a corner suite on the 20th floor and the room was exactly like the photos, including the view. Given the amount of open space in the suite, the bathroom could have been larger with two sinks instead of one. The shower was huge and there were two closets with decent space. The AC worked well and it was quiet. In the past I've found some W hotels to be loud with a nightclub vibe in the common areas, but that wasn't the case here. In addition to the onsite restaurants there is a bakery and some other shops. Strangely, there is nowhere to buy toiletries or other personal items. The only issues I had were a slow-draining shower, water spilling over from the sink on to the counter due to the placement of the faucet fixture and a strange mildew-type smell in the hall. Nothing major. All the staff were pleasant and professional, and I'd definitely stay here again.…

We chose the W Panama as a treat for my birthday, sadly it turned into more of a nightmare. We were woken one morning to tapping, banging and drilling coming from one of the other rooms which instantly woke us up and we could barely hear each other speak. The front desk didn’t believe us, so that’s why I recorded a video! We were moved rooms and received a refund for the poor nights sleep we had but I can honestly say I’ve stayed in better 3* hotels than this. The attention to detail is seriously poor, I’m not sure if the W took this over from another hotel chain but it’s looking really tired. - Walls aren’t painted properly - shower is covered in mould - windows can barely be seen out of - bathroom door didn’t close - window blinds didn’t fully close - the pool had missing concrete edges making it really quite dangerous and unsafe The only positive I would say is the location, it’s easy to walk to a nearby supermarket (Rey), most tourist sites are a short Uber ride away or the Hop on hop off bus stops a few streets away. Due to my experience here I wouldn’t waste my money and stay in another W hotel.…

I only spent 1 night at the W whilst my friends spent the whole week here. It met our needs. Good location, clean, helpful staff. I personally loved the funky decor, views a tad better than that offered at the other hotel I stayed at. Caught nice sunsets from room 1605 with pool view. Actually used the pool, nice area. Ate at the restaurant/bar next to reception and the meal was decent. Overall I do recommend it. Next time, I will upgrade my room, I really should have opted for the tub in the room option.

A nice hotel in a nice location. Enjoyed my stay. However I left my car keys in the safe and I couldn't get anyone to send them to me. There is a resturant on the first floor There seemed to be several events going on at the hotel.

Before our arrival , I was contacted by Brayan Ortega whom always was eager to please our requests . We decided to be picked up at the airport and our driver, a Cuban guy named Ernesto Lopez was very puntual and professional. He helped us with our luggages and made the driving very pleasant and entertaining . Once we arrived at the very beautiful W Panama we were escorted to the elevators to go to the level where the front desk is located. The process at the Front desk was fast and easy . Elevators run very fast and the hotel has plenty of them . We were assigned to room# 2110, one of the most beautiful views and rooms we have ever enjoyed and seen so far!. Its view of Panama was espectacular and we felt like not going nowhere because of it. We kept its curtains open at all time, day and night. Next day we we went to San Blas tour and when returning we found a birthday cake in our room because of my wife’s anniversary. This was a very nice surprised , by the way. The hotel is very centric and well located, a beautiful tall building with frosted glasses . All staff we encountered were very nice and professional . We had a great time!. Thank you all !!!.…

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are as gorgeous as they look in the photos. Most of the employees I encountered were friendly and helpful. The problem is that there is constantly noise. The walls are thin and I wish I had known before booking that this hotel prioritizes hosting parties, loud parties. When there wasn't noise from the room next door, there was music blasting from the poolside deck. I appreciated when the hotel gave a warning that there would be a 5-hour party with DJ and the accompanying noise, and offered the option to change rooms, but I did not appreciate when more than 6 hours later, the music was still blasting and I was told my only option would be to change rooms. If you're going to host a loud party, at least be clear about when it will end so that your guests can plan accordingly. After having unpacked and settled in for the past two nights, changing rooms was not an attractive option. The music eventually stopped, but both the extended period of noise that they did not seem interested in controlling and the apathy from the front desk soured my experience. I would not recommend this property, not would I ever return to a W, since this seems to be the type of branding to which they aspire.…
