Walk everywhere in Casco Viejo. Friendly and helpful staff. Room is small (because it's a historic hotel) but is updated superbly. Bed was very comfortable. We stayed Sat & Sun nights and there was an acoustic guitar player performing in the lobby both nights. Sunday morning breakfast had traditional Panamanian dancers too.

This was a beautiful hotel in the heart of Casco Viejo. The room was spacious and comfortable and hotel staff was extremely accommodating. The pool was small but heated and a nice place to hang out. Breakfast was included in our accommodations and the food was well prepared and filling. On the weekend we ordered off of a menu and on the weekday there was a buffet style breakfast. We even sat at the bar in the evening and listen to the live music which was very enjoyable. We would absolutely recommend Hotel Central if you were staying in this area. We also had a car during our stay in the hotel is very accommodating with helping us to park it.

Lovely old hotel right in heart of Casco Viejo. Stayed for 4 nights to explore old town area. Great access to local restaurants and artisans. Excellent staff in all areas. Breakfast Buffet very good with fresh fruit, oatmeal, yogurt and eggs, bacon etc. Lovely girls who serve you. Alfredo at front desk a true delight. Only disappointment was lack of shelving or dresser in room. Only hanging space.

After many days in Panama enjoying nature with a tour group our final destination was this hotel. It was a great stay with nice decor, a comfortable bed, lots of amenities and friendly and helpful staff. Even our porter, Franklin, assisted us with luggage and securing our taxi. He was very professional and always smiling. Each morning we enjoyed a bountiful breakfast buffet. Throughout our stay attention was given to the little details.
