nice hotel in sentosa area. gym was well maintained albeit the small size. close to the sentosa express train (across the road) so that was a huge plus. Staff were friendly and always ready to serve you. Appreciated that. Was a small getaway for my family and I (:

There are many types of staycations but "Girlfriend Staycas" for us must come at least with a gastronomic fulfilment, fun fitness workouts (to reduce guilt from all the makan) and wellness time amongst others however these are far and few to have everything under an umbrella till we found one! The Oasia @Sentosa checks all the boxes...and its a huge plus that its only 30mins away from home! With our different schedules, we finally set a date and checked into the newly debuted Oasia Resort Sentosa. The staff really are an amazing intuitive bunch. From the moment we drove up, Halim welcomed us and offered to valet park as parking is available only at the Barracks nearby, and not on premise. We chose to drop off our luggage and self-park as we wanted to check-out the surroundings. To our pleasant surprise, it was a very short walk from the carpark (at the Barracks) though I must say..its a bit of a hassle when we had to get the car on a rainy day. The plus is, the staff is always ready with an umbrella and a smile! Our check-in was seamless. There are many wellness activities that come with the package. We decided prior to checking-in which ones we were going to go for. Pei Yi, from the front desk reception assisted us with all our reservations and requests and even brought us to our rooms personally. During this time, we were also served a refreshing sparkling welcome tea. Having booked a junior suite, the space and layout was perfect. The flow of the room connects. i.e. the little living room area with a sofa bed and TV to the bedroom on one end and to the bathroom on the other. We had two in a room but with a king and sofa bed, it seemed like it could accommodate a family of 3-4 although I am not sure with the current pandemic policies. Besides the standard easy WiFi connectivity, plush pillows, exclusive toiletries and amenities. The hotel spaces, the snacks prepared, items used and even our drinking water have efforts of sustainability on all of them. That’s truly impressive. From keycards made of wood; room wall décor pieces using preserved moss, complimentary water in the room, available in 2 units each of still and sparkling are bottled on site in glass bottles. Not forgetting you could request for refills anytime! The lovely dehydrated sliced of apples are prepared and packed in glass bottles also onsite too. Other snacks that were offered included a healthy snack selection of nuts and granola, fruit, coconut water, premium teas. We headed for our workouts which were held outdoors and I love that vs. being in an enclosed gym environment. Additionally, the design of the location of the pool did not have the sun shine directly at us at 4pm. The Zumba Instructor Ahmad was super encouraging and engaging. It was our first and yes, we had a lot of fun in that gorgeous blue pool! After the session, Izat offered us iced mint-balm water (ps. the mint-balm is grown in-house through hydroponics). After resting a while, we decided to head for our sunset yoga session which was held at the outdoor deck - an inspiring spot for this purpose. Each mat is sanitized pre and post. There was bottled water, towels, all laid out impeccably for every guest. As we live in this era of a pandemic, I appreciate every effort the hotel staff take on with the sanitization of items. Sunset Yoga provided a nice stretch which is perfect before dinner; I am a beginner at Yoga and after the session, I felt tension ease in my tight muscles from my regular squash games. While working out a sweat, the turn-down team left us 2 little tubs of home-made natural balm – what a nice gesture and so align to the overall attention to wellness and sustainability! We love everything about the room except that we kept knocking into the gigantic hanging lamp, positioned where the power socket is. Every time we needed to use the socket, inevitably, we bump into the lamp! The Oasia staff are spot on with their recommendations as I must say we had the most delish dinner in Bedrock! Liza, the hotel manager and another staff Christine had recommended the barramundi tail, kingfisher sashimi starter, the aged steak. The fish tail was roasted with herbs and it melts in your mouth. Accompanied with a dash of lemon and roasted garlic was just the perfect combination. With 4 ladies dining, we shared the mains and ordered 3 sides; Spinach, Truffle fries, some Mac & cheese spaired with a Riesling and ending with their signature desert Bombe Alaska and Crumble. The service that night was from a friendly team and service were just the right bang to end a great day! Thank you Meet for taking care of us and Louis the Sommelier for the recommendation. The Bedrock seems to have transformed overnight, though. As we were about to walk-in, we asked for recommendations (once again) for breakfast and Jason from the front desk suggested the barramundi mixed oat congee and the vitality omelette which we ordered. Both of which were served in generous portions too. There are a total of 3 types of sets. western, local and continental. The porridge was my favourite though. The texture of creaminess with finely sliced ginger, fried shallots and dough sticks complemented the thick slices of belly cuts of barramundi. Simply heavenly. Girlfriend catch-ups are precious and whilst we were away for only a day and a half, such a lovely getaway deserves a re-run, for sure and definitely longer! So, we will be back! There are so many more activities that we have yet to indulge ourselves in, such as the spa (which was part of the package) and the workshops that we had no time for. The many more staff who spoke with us that we can’t recall your names, thank you all. You all were nothing short of stellar. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Several incidents occurred during our stay, but the room is clean and toilet is well equipped. However, coffee and tea selection is sad, furnishing is also bare minimum. The hotel did offer complimentary green apples x2, nuts selection and 2 coconut water (non-refillable). Hotel also offers wide selection of activities to choose from. However, I don't think it's suitable for family with young children, because there is no slope to push the pram and luggages. Everything has to be carried up and down the stairs.

Good for only those going for spa. Nice place to stay when you want to explore sentosa. It has a close access to monorail, which you can use to go Palawan and Siloso beach or Universal Studio Singapore.

Had a relaxing stay during the new year countdown weekend! Great hotel location, opposite monorail station. Perfect for stays if one has the intention of spending entire day at sentosa. Super love the huge bathtub! There are many activities within the hotel itself, wouldn't be bored.

The hote is so so beautifully designed and build. But the service is so bad that it was traumatizing. The room makeup button was spoiled. We had to call them later for housekeeping. They themselves made a mistake of having the number of head counts for our breakfast, didn’t let us in the Bedrock restaurant until we pay up. Weren’t even allowed in to sit down. When they found out they made a mistake, no apology from them. Just say they will refund. Turned out the breakfast serving size was huge, couldn’t finish anyway. We could have shared. Food tasted good though. Second day, it took them soooooo long to serve breakfast that most people missed the morning conference half hour despite arriving at the breakfast hall 1hour before conference starts. Even for a granola! For lunch at Royal Taj, they put olive oil and SOYA SAUCE beside the salad bar. When approached, they defended and said that they use soya sauce for corporate event. When we returned to room after the housekeeping was done, we saw that ALLL our clothes (one set of each family member of 2 adults and 2children) were all lumped together onto our luggage as though our luggage was a laundry basket. Only great service was the uncle stationed at the carpark. Elderly local. Extremely polite and kind. Patient and understanding, I mentioned this is another friend. She had a staycation there and confirmed that this hotel “Nothing to shout about. It’s more for gamblers” Only look extremely pretty from outside. But the stay… It’s been a month since we checked out. Still traumatised. Because their poor management and service caused so much inconvenience to our event that there were so much disgruntlement. Spoiled the whole experience and the conference.

Recently launched under the Oasia brand in September 2021, this is Far East Hospitality’s first foray into the resort and spa category. Hence, do expect some hits and misses during your stay. The neighbouring hotels under Far East Hospitality cater to other segments. Located right beside the Sentosa Express Imbiah Station and 5 mins away from the internal Sentosa Bus stop at the side of the hotel, this hotel is very accessible to many attractions on the island. Do note that there is no ramp from the driveway up to the main lobby level. You will need to climb a small flight of stairs. Thankfully there are bellboys stationed at the main doors of the hotel and they will gladly assist with your luggage or stroller. Get the wellness package! There are multiple perks accessible only to guests on the wellness package (e.g. fitness and yoga sessions, complimentary spa, limousine pickup service, balm making class, etc.) compared to just booking the room alone. Minor renovations to the property from the Le Meridien time. Junior suites are located in the conserved heritage building. Rooms on the 2nd floor have large floor to ceiling windows compared to the 3rd floor. The large windows brightens up the room. The sofa in the Junior Suite can be converted to a sofa bed at night. Look at the daily schedule of wellness activities, e.g. yoga, pilates, zumba, qi gong, balm making, tea appreciation, etc. and remember to book the sessions upon Check In. The spa uses Kotoshina products. Book the session a few days before Check In, especially if you want to use the Couple Room. Proceed to the spa around 45 mins before your scheduled appointment time in order to enjoy the sauna facility. Food at Bedrock Origin restaurant is excellent! (sister outlet to the popular Bedrock Bar & Grill restaurant at Orchard). Breakfast is not buffet style. Select from the choices available and a well-balanced breakfast will be served to your table. Book your breakfast timeslot upon Check In. In Room dining service from Bedrock Origin ends at 9:30pm. There are also several F&B options at the Mess Hall behind the hotel (Le Faubourg is popular and reservations are encouraged). There are more F&B options at Resort World Sentosa which is 1 Sentosa Express station away. Overall, it has been an enjoyable stay in the hotel! The wellness activities and spa provide an edge over the other hotels on Sentosa. There are still some room for improvement in order to be a full 5-star spa and wellness hotel.

Great team led by Lisa in Oasia Resort. From front desk to housekeeping, everything were arranged to the finest details for our stay. Each day, walking past the reception was a joy for the kids, the team remembered all their names and interact with them. The team ‘wow’ us with a welcome back set up when we returned a second time. Needless to say for such a wonderful and service passionate team, they organised three separate birthday set up for us in the family. Housekeeping Nancy was a wonderful caring aunty to the family, beside ensuring the in-room tidiness, everyday she make sure that she asked (including the kids) if more needs to be done to ensure we settle in well. So from ensuring we are well hydrated with well stocked bottles of water to checking before leaving for home on the minor repair she has reported is completed. The kids look forward to the daily routine of ‘Nancy Ah Yi’ coming to visit them. The Resturant team is amazing as well, they made effort to understand our dietary requirement and amidst the often busy days, they kept their cool and service with a great smile to let us start our day feeling wonderful. Thank you Team Oasia Resort! We will be back.
