Since there was probably no chance of travel for us this year due to Covid19, we settled for a short staycay in Sentosa and we chose Equarius as we have stayed here on several occassions before and we loved everything about this place from the rooms to the service (unlike some other hotels in the vicinity).
This time round, due to Covid19 regulations, a lot of changes were made and everyone is still trying to get used to the norm. You can expect changes like the temperature checks and locations check-ins, the staggered check-in times, rooms decorated to bare minimum for easier cleaning and sanitizing I guess (no plushy cushions and decorative accents), booking a slot to use the pool as only 15 people are allowed at a time, requesting for housekeeping instead of auto daily housekeeping, no in-room dining (although we can always get food from outside to eat in the room), etc...
Upon check in I asked if it was possible to upgrade to the garden room (so that kids have space to run around seeing we might be spending most of the time in the room) but I was thankful when staff Lina suggested we upgrade to the pool access room instead as the garden rooms are not available. She was really helpful and considerate, seeing that I have 2 kids who love the pool and it would be a hassle to use the main pool (need to register/book slot). The pool access rooms gave us full access the a separate pool, shared only among the rooms with pool access and we only saw another room occupied during our stay so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time.
Another service I appreciated is the buggy service that transports guests to/fro the hotel and RWS main areas at Hotel Michael entrance. Really great as the long walk along the shopping street would have been boring as the shops are closed.
All in all, a great staycay as the kids had a blast. Thanks to all the staff who made it possible even in this trying times.

The hotel is tucked away from from hustling and bustling of RWS (Resorts World Sentosa). It is near to ESPA and at the tail end of the RWS stretch. If you prefer a quieter option of accommodation, this is definitely one of the consideration.
The lobby is typical, nothing much to shout about. They do provide free buggy to other places within RWS eg The Forum (shopping belt), Hard Rock, Casino etc. Though the hotel has a pool, but it is meant for the guests staying at ground level, where you can have direct access to the pool. Otherwise you have to use the ESPA pool which is not far away.
The ESPA pool is a free form pool, surrounded by Villas which have the direct access. The Forest Restaurant is helmed by Chef Sam, they have a couple of signatures, good food but it does not come cheap.
The room is the highlight. Spacious, luxurious and overlooking the green or Adventure Cove. The bathroom is the best, with double vanity, separate shower and WC, and a oversized bathtub. You can see through from the sleeping area into the bathroom. It is a nice design.
At the room corridor, they have a Ice and water machine which comes in very handy. They do not use plastic water bottles but 2 glass containers for you to refill, love that eco initiative.
The most disappointed part is the breakfast. It was served at the Hard Rock Hotel. It was semi a la carte / semi buffet. The food choice, presentation, taste were bad. I believed this is temporal and the occupancy was not high due to Covid-19.
If you have pre booked the Adventure Cove and have the ticket you can use the back door access to the water park which is highly convenient.
Overall, nice room and spacious but breakfast experience was horrendous.

It was such a lovely & fantastic staycaytion at Equarius Hotel! Immediately after staycaytion is possible, I decided to book my favourite hotel again! This staycaytion was so smooth and fast where the room was ready and not much waiting was needed at the lobby. We were able to check in quickly and were given a welcome pack with face masks, a small pack of wet wipes and a small bottle of hand sanitizer which was a very nice touch during this sensitive period.
However, was disappointed that no restaurants were opened at Equarius Hotel. We had to wait for the buggy to get around the resort. Otherwise, staycaytion will be perfect!
Can't wait to book again for my staycaytion at Equarius again!

Had a 2 night staycation here in Nov 2020 when hotels in SG reopened as the government relaxed covid controls. Housekeeping did not replenish room slippers and bath towels. Had to call 3 times for bath towels and they arrived too late as my small boy had finished shower before they were delivered, and we resorted to using hand towel to wipe dry. There is also no room service, no restaurant and no cafe open at the hotel at all due to covid measures, and guests had to either travel out 1 bus stop away to get food or use one of the online delivery services. Jot a problem if the hotel were in town, but Equarius is in a secluded corner of sentosa. We also wanted to change the time slot booked for swimming pool use (part of covid measures). First response received from operator is the requested time slot was already full. Then on asking again, they asked me to stay on the line for 5 minutes before saying the requested slot is available. The poor service and inconveniences are not worth the price paid for the stay.p

It's nice to see the hotel staff going about their work even though admist the uncertain times. The hotel even has sanitizer available at the front desk. Kudos to the hotel for the anticipation. Would like to thank SuLing who offered to top up our sanitizer when we approached her all flustered to find out where we could get sanitizers as we ran out of ours and everywhere else was out of stock as we were heading to Universal Studios later that afternoon. This is definitely above the call of duty. Thank you for caring for your guests and stay safe. The staffs are truly gems of the hotel.

Room was comfortable, spacious and clean. They do not provide complimentary bottle water but 2 water carafes and can easily refill them at the nearby water kiosk. The staff were very smiley and helpful too. We were not sure how to get to the waterpark, the staff showed us to the nearest gate to enter instead of using the main entrance which we save alot of time. Hotel shuttle comes every 15 mins to bring you to the rest of the hotels and walking distance to the restaurants and attractions. Overall, very good experience.

Upon entering the the hotel, we were greeted by Ambassador and hotel staff. The hotel staff Lisa (receptionist, bell service people) were all friendly and Maria were very helpful too. The checking-in process was simply a breeze and within 10 minutes were given the key to our room. The room was refreshingly modern, exquisitely clean, complemented by a fantastic harbour view. Spacious and bright, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.

Stayed in this hotel from 13/12/20-19/12/20. When we first reached the hotel, Mr Eugene, at the lobby area directing us to the holding area, and explained to us the reason for doing so. Due to safe distancing rules, the hotel is very organised to have a holding area for all the check in guests. There are also queue number given for us to register for the check in. As there are limited to 5 persons per room, all guest have to be registered before you can enter the room. There will be a person at the entrance to the hotel rooms to check that your identity have been registered to the certain room before they let you enter. This is a very good safety practices. Also, their housekeeping team is very effective as well, everyday same timing they will be knocking on the door. The only cons is that everyday have been raining heavily, we didnt manage to use the pool. But overall it was a fun and enjoyable staycation!:)

I love equarius hotel so much that when i'm supposed to check out, I didn't want to go back home. Despite having this covid situation, hygiene standards was taken care off. the remotes were placed in ziplock bags, cups was replaced to disposable ones. Overall the room was very clean and comfortable. Transport from the hotel michael to the hotel was a brisk too. Did not have to wait so long for the buggy at all. Frequency for the buggy was just nice. A special shoutout to Jesslyn Chong who was super friendly and her excellent customer service made my entire stay so enjoyable. Not forgetting Gary Teng,who ensure my buggy ride was safe and smooth. Will definitely be back for more staycation at Equarius hotel :)

I and my friend were here for a random staycation. The facilities were okay. Just a few things to take note of that might help if you have a plan on staying:
1. In-Room Dining is currently not available for all in-house guest, they only provide disposable cutleries and paper cups 2. The minibar is empty, you may put your own items to chill 3. There are no dining facilities in the hotel, breakfast is served at Hotel Michael, need to take a buggy 4. Only selected restaurant is open on the Festive Walk / Casino side, most are closed
If you are here for the pool, make sure you book your pool session, we had trouble booking in for the 2nd day so just ring guest services for assistance.
We would like to commend Kelly (i think she was in Concierge) she was the only pleasant and friendly staff we spoke to during the entire duration of our stay. Overall, our experience was good.

I don’t think. I did ask the reception but was told to take the hotel’s shuttle to Michael hotel and it’s just 5 mins walking distance from the Festive Walk at Michael Hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Sentosa Island area.
