On 1st January 2022 we had bad and terrible experience during our stay in JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta. Especially in the Swimming Pool, when we were swimming in the pool in the New Year 2022 morning ,suddenly my daughter’s feet were injured because of many shards of tiles at the bottom of the pool remain unrepaired, and my daughter had a heavy bleeding in the swimming pool, then immediately other children in the same pool rushed out of the Pool. When we sought up for help to the Pool staff, there was no one Pool Staff On Duty at the Poolside, and after a few minutes I seeked into the Pool Office, then someone came to us, and gave help, then we asked the Pool Staff to meet the Pool Hotel Management to provide us a certified doctor to help our daughter’s heavy bleeding. Then came Mr.Agung Sukma who is the Hotel Pool Management, and also Mrs. Nisa , also the Hotel Management meet us, but they refused to provide a certified doctor to us, they only provide us an uncertified nurse who was lacking of experience and lied to us by introduced the nurse they provide - is a certified doctor. And Mrs. Nisa gave us her Phone Number, and she also already saved my Phone Number, but when we called her at the phone nunber that she gave to us, but she never pick our phone up or even respond back our call. After we watched on YouTube some reviews of JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Swimming Pool reviews, there are already several videos on YouTube showing that the Pool has already many broken tiles and there are lots of sharp tile shards at the bottom of the Pool, meaning this has been repeated from time to time for years , and no follow up from the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management. Even after the incident of my daughter’s feet were injured due to a tile shard that was not repaired, the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management did not close their Swimming Pool. Until now ,the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta is still opening its Swimming Pool which contains a lot of sharp tiled glass for public use. There is no intention of the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management to fix it. And how many people will be harmed by the negligence of the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management in this case. And until now, the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management did not provide “PROPER COMPENSATION” to us as the injured party for this incident, and of course this will also continue to their next guests who if they experience the same thing that has happened to us. The JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management Mrs. Sherley Abbas has also answered our email, but they still not willing to compensate us properly. Hopefully this can be noticed by PHRI (Persatuan Hotel & Restoran Indonesia) and Kemenparekraf Republik Indonesia, or who else which may concern about this incident. And May Allah SWT will reward the JW Marriott Hotel Jakarta Management in kind for the losses we’ve experienced during our stay in that Hotel. I also attached a photo when my children played in the small unrepaired swimming pool (with some detached tile from the pool floor) and from youtube that shown some tile’s fragments.

I arrived in Jakarta at 3 pm already hungry and my 7 years old son was not feeling well, i wanted to use the meal and stay's voucher that I bought earlier, I came to the restaurant he said we had to ask for a stamp at the Ritz, I asked to be allowed to eat first and I was willing deposit money according to the bill before I stamp the voucher to the ritz because the child is weak and we are starving. Later, after eating, let me go and ask for a stamp to the Ritz, I said if I didn't stamp it, it's okay if I was charged from the deposit, but Mrs. Catharina at Syalendra without mercy still told us to go and ask for a stamp first to the Ritz without mercy. Finally we walked to the ritz and ate at the ritz. Thanks for the experience.

The room was great, family loved it, it really felt as if that the stay was worth the money. Our rooms were on the 29th floor. We requested some room service, the attendee named “Monica” really had provided splendid service with a quick response time and friendliness towards us. Food was good and is at the top 20% of hotels I have stayed in Jakarta. There were some improvements in the food section for lunch that had to be improved, nonetheless overall very pleasant stay. This was from a few weeks ago, I am very satisfied with the stay
