A new hotel with modern architecture. Hotel location is in business district of Kuningan and it is located at 50++ th floor which give a pleasure for the guests to have a night view of Jakarta landscape. Next good thing is the hotel building is next to GOR Soemantri which has jogging track and make its guests to have an easy access for proper work out. Breakfast is tasty with wide food selections, from Indonesian, chinese, western and it has so many choices to choose from. Staffs are very friendly, except one lady (should have written down her name) in lounge area. Lounge area is abit small and doesnt have many variety of food to choose from. Afternoon tea is also very limited so i eat the same pastry again and again because they only offer 3-4 snacks during afternoon tea session. Evening cocktail food is also limited but quiet tasty. But dont be surprised where Westin lounge view is facing cemetery which is a bit turn off for me. Room itself is very good where they provide me with free upgrade. Room feels very comfy and good thing about the room where there are plenty of shelves to put our bags and stuffs so the room feels neat even though we put our stuffs everywhere. One thing to remember when booking Westin is to note not having room assigned facing cemetery. Swimming pool is very small and the jacuzzi was still closed due to government regulation by the time i stayed. Gym is okay, plenty of equipments and feels very clean too. As the hotel is located above the office towers, it has easy access by just going down the elevator to the GF where we can go to convinience store to buy snacks, go to the banks and atm. One thing i dont like about Westin is the hassle to go down from the room to the GF where we need to change elevator. Elevator from GF to 52th floor (and vice versa) takes soo longggg and sometimes create a long queue, especially where there are weddings. I understand because it is not a high speed elevator and from 1st floor to 52th floor takes a while... Overall it is a good hotel and I will definitely stay again at Westin.

The whole experiences I’ve encountered in this property were beyond descriptions needed. However, I am writing a brief review on this property as 5 stars and should include a diamond in it. From the most professional check in experience to the attentive housekeeping department and the concierge services are all excellent. The Director of room, Mr. Peter should have a gold with a diamond tiered if I it’s exist to all hospitality industry. He have always been making my reservations and all my room preferences accordingly to my complicated needs over the course of 5 years. I am grateful to all the team, the staffs and the management in this property. A place where I feel home away from home.

I’m staying here as a Titanium member. As a benefit, I was supposed to get an access to their evening cocktail service. Since the evening cocktail is now divided into several sessions due to covid restrictions, I made a call earlier to ensure a spot for the evening, and the staff confirmed it straight away. As I was calling them back closer to the booking time to see if I can move it one hour earlier, they told me that they didn’t have my booking. So they offer to send it to my room instead. I was so angry at how clumsy their staff is, and I ended up ordering some room service instead. If you are a loyal member of Marriott, do not even think of having good service at this hotel.

My wife and I stayed 3 nights, which I think is enough time to have an initial impression, especially because we didn't leave the hotel for those 4 days. The individual staff are very polite and professional. It initially feels like you are in an international chain hotel. The views from every room are incredible because you literally are looking over other buildings, which are not too close anyway. The biggest discovery was the way the hotel would NOT fulfill its promises expressed through the FO, Housekeeping or whoever picked up the phone when we called the hotel phone. Upon entering our room, we found that the electric kettle didn't work so we called & asked for another one. More than 24 hours later, it still hasn't arrived. Yesterday on Day 3 we turned on the Do Not Disturb sign the whole day, and by late afternoon the hotel called to ask if we needed anything restocked or replaced. This was a good gesture. We immediately asked for some bottled water and more soap. Now, 18 hours later, no one has come to deliver the electric kettle, any bottled water nor soap. My wife wondered if the Do Not Disturb sign made the staff reluctant to press the door bell, but I said that the water & soap was the result of them calling us in our room and proactively asking what we needed despite the Do Not Disturb sign. And anyway, whatever happened to that electric kettle we asked 3 days ago when our Do Not Disturb sign was not switched on? If you think that is surprising for a Westin, you are correct. So out of desperation, I asked a hotel staff whom we passed in the hall for a shaver, which is not part of the room amenities. He promptly returned in about 15 minutes with the plastic shaver and politely tried to turn down my tip. It was such a delight to see someone come to our room to deliver something we asked for that I shoved the tip towards him. So again we must reaffirm that the individual staff were exemplary. While standing waiting for the pool to open at 7am, a staff came to our aid and opened the door to the pool area and provided us with all our needs despite our being 5 minutes too early. A casual lunch at the Daily Treats Lounge on the check-in floor was met with a friendly waitress who brought us a yummy cold chocolate drink and an even yummier juicy burger. Highly recommended! And the Christmasy dinner buffet was made memorable by the attentive staff quickly clearing our finished dishes politely and being patient when we requested larger portions amidst these Covid-affected queues. Other negatives: The shutter in our bathroom window (meant to add sensual to the luxurious rooms) did not work, in addition to the aforementioned electric kettle. Be careful where you point the shower head because the water in our shower literally crossed the floor and drained across the room into the toilet area. The area in front of the lifts that go from the Lobby/Check-in area on floor 52 can get quite crowded, so a staff member should man the area to ensure that people do not cut in line while waiting; while the lift operator is much appreciated. Other positives: the rooms are luxurious with 3 different pillows for each bed and a huge TV and powerful (albeit noisy) AC. The work desk is comfy to work on. The bathtub kept the water warm for more than an hour, leading us to think that it is coated with that Japanese material for mugs that keeps tea warm for extended periods of time. In case Management at Westin Jakarta wants to check their customer-request logs (and I hope they keep tabs on what the guests asked to be delivered to their rooms), we stayed in room 5605 the weekend before Christmas. A guest staying at a Westin should not have to ask twice for an electric kettle, and everything should be in proper working order anyway. This is the exact opposite of those Mom & Pop Inns that bring you everything you asked for despite their forgetting to smile.

the hotel is so great. located in the middle of Jakarta. the view from the room is so amazing. the lobby is located on the 51th floor. the facilities so good. the breakfast is one of the best in the city. the staff so friendly and helpfull. one of the best hotel if you want to see Jakarta from high level.
