The hotel has very nice old Tibetan style rooms. It’s very authentic. The bed has a heater underneath if it gets cold. The location is great as it’s in the old part of Tibet. I got lost a couple of times but always found my way back. There are many small shops and restaurants

Yes, better hotels will have bed warmers or electric blankets. From my experience they worked very well however it was broken in one hotel where I stayed. You are correct, it will be cold. You must be prepared. Think about and respect the culture. For local Tibet people living in the cold weather in winter without modern conveniences is normal.

I stayed there early April and is still cold weather. They provide warmer. However, I did not see any air-conditioner in the room.
