The place is very spacious with quality furnishings. That said, the loving room was a bit empty with only one table and one sofa and a TV. It could have been more comfy and cozy. In fact, the sofa was not comfortable to sit too. It was there only for design.

The bathroom was great all around.

The breakfast room is nice, but the breakfast was basic without much of local cuisine.

The location is nice, far from center and the noise.

Booked the harbor view room and was given a free upgrade to the suite (room 21) during check in courtesy of the staff. I regret that I didn't get her name.

Hotel was located less than 10 min walk to Olympic station and was very easy to get to from the airport with the airport express. Olympic City mall is located on the other side of the station and is equally easy to get to from the hotel. The entire hotel is location on 1 floor and had very few rooms so you never felt that the hotel was noisy or crowded and it was very private.

The room was extremely spacious with separate living area and walk in wardrobe and is much bigger compared to other hotels in Hong Kong and the high ceiling gave a even bigger sense of space. Toilet was spacious and the bathtub had an wonderful view of city. Water temperature and pressure was good. Bed room was huge, bed was comfortable and also had a nice view of the city especially at night and you could see the sun set from the room.

Breakfast was okay with a small but good selection and the menu was refreshed daily. The lounge also provided complimentary drinks throughout the day.

I've stayed at multiple hotels at varying price range but this is by far one of the best hotel stay and I felt truly relaxed during my 3 nights stay here.

The in-room experience is by far the best among many other luxury hotels. The suite I stayed in is 60+ sq m in area, but it feels like 80+. The high ceiling exceptionally extends one’s sense of space. Equipped with a microwave and a tall fridge, the minibar is more like a mini kitchen. It even has its own sink! The Roman style bathroom is certainly another highlight. And don’t forget to spend some time in the club lounge for some refreshments. All in all, the Olympian is a remarkable boutique hotel, once you’ve tried it, you’ll want to come back.

I really enjoyed my stay here and love the 33 hour package that allowed me to check in at 9am but leave on the next day at 6pm. I needed to have a quiet place for work and I liked that they had a huge working table here. Most hotels on the Kowloon side no longer provide big working desks. Everything was clean and the room was furnished very nicely. The ceiling height was 3m and it was a treat to stay here. The only drawback is the location is not very convenient and the food was mediocre. I think this is a great hotel to stay at if you are on a business trip or just want a low-key staycation. Highly recommend! Service is more friendly and kind than other mainstream five-star hotels. Great job, team!

We stayed in the hotel for family staycation. Although there is no swimming pool in the hotel, we just want to stay in to chill and relax and we had made a right choice. Our suite is super big with high ceiling and floor to ceiling window which enlighten the room with sunlight during the day and make it very spacious. I love the bathroom too. It got separate shower and toilet space which provide privacy. The bathtube match with room size, i.e. it's hugh and can fit my 3 kids in together! I feel like I'm in Presidential suite indeed. The room is well equipped with fridge and microwave and a walk in wardrobe. The hotel is not located in the busy district but within walking distance to shopping mall. The staff are nice and polite. We had a great time and will definitely come back again!

We live very locally but due to some construction noise from a neighbouring apartment we decided to come and stay here for a few mid week days.

Room was huge, particularly for Hong Kong with a very comfortable bed, small desk, couch and a couple of chairs. Plenty of space overall. High ceilings throughout and a great view but still private despite the low floor. Lovely deep spacious bath and separate large full rainhead (from the ceiling) shower head with seat.

Hotel itself was quiet and comfortable, extremely pleasant & helpful staff. The all day lounge had snacks & soft drinks available, as well as offering breakfast in the morning. Room service was prompt and efficient, and prices reasonable.

Its a great location - 5 minutes from Olympic MTR and malls, and then only 2 stops to HK.

The number of TV channels was a bit of a let down, there's no hotel bar, and the rives & slippers were not the greatest quality. These are the only minor negatives.

Price was impressive and very competitive for Hong Kong.

Would stay again and highly recommend.

Booked the 33 hour offer directly from the website to celebrate a birthday. The staff were so lovely, they had a hand written card and a bottle of wine prepared for us upon arrival. We were very lucky the weather was great and the sea view was very beautiful. The room had a high ceiling and a very spacious bathroom which are both quite rare in Hong Kong. They also provided a nearly full sized refrigerator and a microwave.

The downside is that there are no arrangements for parking, and there isn’t much else around the area. However there is still a Fusion nearby, a lot of restaurants are available for food delivery, and there are some 24 hour options in their room service menu.

This is a great hotel to have a break away from the city and we both very much enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be coming back!

The Olympian's a boutique hotel with grand decor and great services. With only 32 rooms, the staff will be able to better manage each customer's needs. Even with just deluxe room, the room is super-sized compared to other rooms, and hence, the experience is absolutely worth the money.

Its a good place for staycation with clean, tidy and spacious room, comfortable bed, free snacks at lounge, etc. The sight from room is blocked by the trees outside. The location is a bit far from the MTR station, it takes about 10 minutes walking.

Answer from The_Olympian

Dear lookitup1977, Thank you for your question. You may be able to catch a glimpse of the fireworks, but the best way to view them would be from the harbourfront in Tsim Sha Tsui, and you can get there from our hotel easily. It is only 10 minutes away by taxi. Our Guest Services team will be happy to arrange a taxi for you. Yours sincerely Karen Chiu Operations Manager

An Android Smartphone is provided free of charge for your use (includes data). During the opening period when we were there all rooms had access to the lounge where a basic breakfast was offered. Not sure about the situation now.
