The amenities at the Conference Lodge were wonderful, and the breakfast was incredible. An interesting blend of local and western cuisine. The rooftop had a beautiful view, and the location was perfect for those with business at the University. However, it was a challenge to understand the bus system to get into the city - be prepared to speak Cantonese rather than Mandarin.

Amazing views and modern, clean lodging. Was a very nice place for a meeting. Staff was very helpful and polite. I would be happy to return. Breakfast is not great but passable. Did not have a chance to try other meals.

It is unbelievable that Conference Lodge is such a good place for short stay in Sai Kung. Fantastic view in hotel with beautiful landscape and seaview. Service is impressive. The manager, Calvin, is so nice and he tells me in great detail about the facilities in the hotel patiently. I have a wonderful stay there and definitely will come back again.

This place has a great location, top of the hill to capture eastern Kowloon island. Also, the service, front desk people were great help. They were friendly and smiley all the time. The room we stayed was not big, but it was efficient. Everything was very nice we loved it.

This hotel is located within premises of the HKUST. The room that I stayed was facing the sea and had an excellent view. The room was quiet, clean and neat. I truly had four nights of good and comfortable rest in this hotel.

Venue accommodation for a weeklong conference at the IAS of HKUST across the street. Booked by the organisers, and one can only stay here if endorsed by a university activity or as a student or alumnus of HKUST. Checking in was quick and easy. Room is around 15m2 composed of a full sized bed, work desk, huge TV, minibar (drinks free and replenished daily), bottled water, coffee and tea and your basic toiletries. Air-conditioning good and cool and water pressure and heat ample. Can't really complain as the facilities served the purpose of my stay. It isn't central and getting around the main hub of the action in Hong Kong requires some nimble manoeuvring by taxi or bus and MTR. Limited food choices after 10PM for the late evening munchies and the groceries are on the OTHER end of the campus. If they address these issues, it should be enough to cover all the bases a conference attendee needs.…

Just a warning that this hotel is not in the most convenient location if you are planning to see central Hong Kong. This is about as far east as you can go in the SAR. It's a long way from downtown. The closest MTR station is about 5kms away, which is just outside of walking range (especially if you're carrying luggage and it's 30deg outside with 100% humidity). That being said, this hotel was excellent. I came here for an event at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and I didn't expect the campus hotel to be this nice. The room was immaculate and looked brand new. The view from the 6th floor was incredible - I had a great view of Clearwater Bay and the mountains and islands all around. The food at breakfast was as good as it gets. I'm looking forward to coming back.…
