The Pluses: The location is excellent. At the northeast corner of Nathan Road and Jordan Road junction with an entrance to the MTR immediately outside of the building. The no. A22 "Airbus" stop nearby, both from and to the international airport (no need for interchange). The staff members are friendly and helpful. The property has keycard security, both for entering the premise as well as the room. Last but not least, the room rate is very reasonable -- great value for money for accommodation in Hong Kong. The Minuses: The sunlight coming into the room during the early afternoon brings the temperature up quite substantially -- sort of a greenhouse effect. Recommend closing the curtains before you leave the room for the day. The floor space in the room is very limited, but that is to be expected in Hong Kong unless you are staying in 4- and 5-star hotels. The lifts/elevators up to the property at 11th floor are congested some of the time.…

My wife and I stayed in the Ocean Inn for two nights in March 2018. You can get bus from the airport almost to the front door of the hotel at Jordan. This is not a luxury hotel but basic accommodation to a very good standard. The rooms are small but very clean and neat. The family who run this hotel are lovely and nothing is a problem such as storing luggage etc. The hotel is central and we were able to walk everywhere which suited us.

We stayed at the Ocean Inn the night following our cruise. It was a much better value for the purpose than our night at the Riverfront Hotel, where we stayed the night before we left on our cruise. The staff was friendly, the courtyard was cute and comfortable, and the room was clean. The furniture was old and the mattresses weren't the most comfortable ever, but for the money and the purpose, we thought it was fine. The beach is very close and is great! We met some very friendly people. We ate at the Marriott (not wonderful) and the Taco Spot, which was excellent! There are lots of places to eat within a reasonable walking distance of the Inn. Would I want to spend my whole vacation at Ocean Inn? Probably not. Was it comfortable for a night or two? Yes.

This hotel was perfect for us mainly due to cost and location. Price was cheaper than many other places. Location was right next door to MRT Jordan and very near Temple Street night market which is a great place for food and drinks ( more restaurants than bars but most ok just to serve beer ). We took the A21 airport bus there. At airport buy an Octopus payment card. Follow signs to bus. Get on bus and tap card on reader. The bus has space for luggage and digital display so you know where to get off. Ask driver or lady at bus stop what number to get off at. It drops you less than 100m away. Journey time was around 40 minutes. The hotel is on the 11th floor of a multi use tower block. The lifts and foyer are shared and to be honest are scruffy but don’t let this put you off. Once on the 11th floor you will find the small Ocean Inn. Owners are friendly and helpful. Security is good. The room was fairly small but had very clean and comfortable beds and our own very small shower and toilet. Air conditioning worked well. The lifts can be a wait so sometimes it’s quicker to take the lift that only goes as high as the 7th floor and walk the rest, this also familiarises yourself with the fire escape. This place provides a secure and clean place to shower and sleep in a great location, but nothing more. On the road junction diagonally opposite is a little place that does eggs on toast with coffee which is where we had breakfast most mornings. I think it was called Toast box. We are pleased that we chose to stay here and considering the cost have no complaints …

The facilities were useful and the room was clean. The bed was comfortable and there was a nice city view. Of course, the room was quite small, but then again it's to be expected with that price. It was big enough and definitely represents value for money.

The shining point of Ocean Inn is its accessibility and location - literally just steps from the Jordan MTR (exit B). Owner are quite hospitable and certainly has a home-y feel to it. We stayed in the extra rooms down the hallway. Rooms themselves were very basic but clean. It was a welcome change after camping in Hong Kong, so we were not picky. We used Ocean Inn as a base to explore around Hong Kong, especially Temple Street Night Market. Overall, would recommend to those who will be spending a lot of time sight-seeing Hong Kong and do not mind a small, simple room to sleep in.

Ocean Inn A very happy stay. In the middle of all the action, but on the 11th floor it was quiet. Three meters from Jordan MTR Exit B. A couple of doors down there is a Seven 11, Circle K, a lovely bakery hot buns all day long and next door a Starbucks. Could not be closer to the Airport A22 bus. We have stayed there twice and will be staying there again. The room is large for HK standards and has been laid out with lots of hooks to stay organized. Lots of plugs to charge everything. Storage for large luggage under the beds and a shelving unit between the beds. So handy for a change our HK room did not look like toddles had been on the rampage. Yes Ladies there is a hair dryer and they even provided a collapsible mirror so you can sit on the bed and get pretty. The couple that run the Ocean in are charming and helpful. Don't be put off by the entrance of the building. It's not like you will be sleeping in the foyer. Super safe and convenient. They store your luggage and as the airport bus leaves from across the road you can enjoy the bustle of the night market till the very last moment. Our flight left at 24:00 and we were still in the market at 20:00. Shopping naturally. The lift takes a bit of patience as it can take a while to get a turn at busy times, but that being said one lift was being repaired.…

I stayed at Ocean Inn for 4 nights. The guesthouse is in fantastic location, really near lots of fantastic shops and places to eat in Jordan, Kowloon. When you first walk into the building the guesthouse is in, it can seem a bit overhwelming if you've never been to Hong Kong before, but once you've gone up in the lift to the guesthouse all the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The guesthouse is very secure, the entrance to the rooms themselves has a lock, as do the rooms themselves. The other residents of the building were all friendly as well. Yes the room is small, as is the bathroom, but that's what makes this accommodation as affordable as it is. If you're looking for a comfortable bed, in a safe building, in a good location, I'd thoroughly recommend Ocean Inn!

Room is small. Infact it is extra small. There is even no space for your luggage. It could be cleaner; especially bed and bathroom. It might be a good choice for only one night but not more. Location is good. Staff is helpful.

I like that we got a corner room where we get to see Jordan and Nathan roads crossing. Clean room and helpful staff! Locating the hostel from bus stop (from the airport) just took us around 2-5 minutes - really easy, you won't be lost! The location is perfect - Jordan MTR station is just outside the building, bus stops (to and from the airport) are just 1-2 blocks away. There's a good money changer in front of the building. Lots of restaurants around, Street market is just a few blocks away.. Not too crowded, not too bustling. It's perfect! It says there is a 24-hour front desk, but when we arrived we waited outside for around 10-15 minutes as there was no one around at the time. And when we left, there was no one at the front desk so we just left the room card with a note for them. Not a big issue though. Overall, it's great! Cheers, Ocean Inn! Til next time! :)…
