The place is ok. I have allergic rhinitis so my whole stay, I had to drink my meds whenever I'm inside the room we booked in. The room is small but tolerable.

Shout out to Ms Agnes Soriano as she is very keen with all our needs.

If you're a fellow kababayan like us. This place is highly recommended as Ms Agnes will cater your needs & help you w/ things only our kababayans do.

The place is very accessible too. MTR is just a walk away. There's a lot of good food around the corner. And the place looks safe.

Will definitely book again. If we ever come back.

One of the amazing accommodations my family has been to. Yes, the room may be small, but the cleanliness cannot be ignored. Our family room for 4, with an 11-year-old granddaughter (free of charge) was simply enough for us. Towels were changed every day; trash collected. Everything was very clean. The property was newly renovated. The staff/owners were very accommodating and always ready to be of assistance. We stayed for 7 nights and every time we go back in the evening after a whole day activity, the room was spotlessly clean. Very near bus stops; MTR stations are just few steps away. always felt safe even in the middle of the evening. surrounded with lots of restaurants.

Let me start with the positive points: the WiFi is really good, the location is great, staff is friendly, and they plan to clean your room daily. However, I guess I was unfortunate that the main light in my room wasn't working and I had to insist on getting it fixed, plugpoints are very crappy/not working, they forgot to clean my room and continuously forgot to give me towels. I guess you have to be a bit proactive when you want to stay in a hotel for this price to make sure everything is done.

However, my advise is to pay attention to your payment. On the last night I discovered they charged my credit card, while I had paid my full bill in cash on the day of arrival. They offered me to pay back in HKD, but I was leaving the country and didn't want 6 nights of HKD in cash (unless they would pay the conversion costs for exchange, but they didn't). They have promised me to refund on my card (but they refused to refund the 45 HKD that was charged by the bank). So all in all, lousy customer service, but OK room. Oh and, Toronto seems to be a group of hotels consisting of nearby places like Strawberry and Jordan.

When the taxi driver dropped me off, I could not believe it was the hotel I booked! The hotel is located on eighth floor of a commercial building, but it was not listed as tenant or owner at the ground floor, making me suspicious of a scam. When I took the lift to go to the 8th floor (which is the only lift), I realized that it is a motel, not a hotel, and the place was smelly, untidy and looked somewhat dangerous (fire escape signs were not found) . I asked to see the room before checking in. The request was rejected, and I could take photo of my room only after I checked in. On the basis that the place appeared substandard and is not a proper hotel, I decided to cancel and had 85% of my prepayment forfeited.

After travelling all day we arrived late at night to be told there was no room for us. After a 90 minute wait they took us to another much cheaper property with pretty average reviews and we spent the night in a shoe box! Now I know in this price range you can't expect much but we choose this property due to its location. Incidentally while we there a couple from Thailand arrived with a confirmed booking and were also told there was no room for them. Booking.com you need to keep an eye on this practice as it is unacceptable!

They will cancel your reservation if;
Someone before you arrived at the hotel has made a personal inquiry about a vacant room - they will sell your reservation and let whatever booking agency have you wait 14 days to get your money back. Thieves!

You booked in advance due to a favorable price and prices has gone up in the meanwhile, they will cancel your reservation UPON ARRIVAL and blame the agency saying they've "opted out."

This place is a hidden Jem, The staff and people who work here (Miss Money and Mr. Amit) Have treated me as if I was part of their family!! I have stayed at many places throughout the world and this has been one of my best experiences to date. I know if my friends will be visiting me I will be coming back to book this place. I grew up in Toronto Canada my whole life and this was a great way to see me off before I leave to China to start my new job. I strongly recommend this place as you have everything at your fingertips.
