The hotel itself is not too bad although it is very basic. Not much amenities si bring your own. The bathroom does not smell good- smells of urine. Only one plug do better to bring adaptor plug that’s good for a few gadgets. I needed to unplug the fridge in order to use my hairdryer. Nice view of the water though. The hotel voucher for breakfast is so little, not enough for anything. The hotel is very far from downtown so it will cost you a fortune for taxi fares.

The most pathetic place that one could ever find. Rooms are very small and dirty. Furniture looks like 100years old. Tv is kept at bed level so not kid friendly. Used old soaps and shampoos are kept in the bathroom.

Originally booked two non refundable nights, then needed to change our flight home so booked another two nights as seperate bookings on the hotels own website, two days before arrival. We received email confirmations. Sent email requesting the bookings be linked so no change of room. No reply. Check in took nearly 2 hours. We were told that we had not booked a 4th night but only a day room from 11:00 to 17:00. Our confirmation email clearly stated an arrival date and a departure date the next day. In two places on the confirmation it stated "1 night". It also stated check in after 14:00, checkout before 12:00. A discussion of nearly 2 hours took place When we made the booking we did as normal searching the hotels site by an arrival date and departure date. At no time when we made the booking did any reference to a "Day-cation" appear. If it had we would have looked closer. We had carefully checked all details of our bookings so the we had the same kind of room to allow the bookings to be linked. Eventually said enough, we will continue this tomorrow. The "Superior Double/Twin room was clean, unless you looked under the bed, but so small I had to walk sideways to go past the bed. There was a cheap soap dispenser in the shower, and some packaged toothbrushes, but no other shampoo or toiletries. Two bath towels but no handtowel or face cloths. Some of the panelling in the room showed signs of water damage. The discussion continued several times over the next two days. The hotel was demanding an additional payment for the fourth night which they were adamant we had not booked. We were adamant we had booked the night. We wrote an email to the hotel and asked that it be forwarded to the owner, stating our position. We received no reply, and checked spam etc. The next night returning to the hotel we had a note to contact the duty manager. The number in the note did not work. I rang the front desk, no answer. Went to sleep, We were woken by a phone call from the duty manager saying we would need to either checkout at 5 the next day or pay an additional fee to stay the night. At no time do we believe he actually listened to what was being said. He wanted more money. Next day after returning from a lengthy walk we settled into the room, and prepared for a departure the next day. At 17:15, the duty manager and another colleague appeared at the door demanding we either pay or leave, or they would call the police. At first we said call them, and they left. We then thought about this a while and decided that in a foreign country and having encountered the standard of English not only from the hotel staff, but also the few police we had actually asked for directions, discussing this with a police officer would also get us nowhere. So under this duress we paid the amount asked. In relative terms it was not a large amount but it was the principle. It is obvious that the hotels website has issues. No way should a day room show if you ask for a room from one day to the next. Also the website mentions a complimentary shuttle to a couple of stations and a shopping area. Turns out it is one a day to both stations and only at around 6:45 in the morning. On the first day there we saw a wonderful swimming pool, asked about it. Next day went down to go swimming to be advised that as of that morning it was closed for the season. With temperatures of over 34°C? It's the hotel policy we were told. Never again this hotel

As a tourist it’s not advisable to stay for the reason that it’s very far .during our free day if u will not get out in that hotel u cannot see what’s really in hongkong.u need to pay in taxi 100 hongkong money.back and forth 200 too costly just to go in city.we need to go in taxi coz we don’t know how to ride in the bus.and to make us sure really we can go the place that we want.almost cannot speak good in English so better to ride in taxi.plus the room smell drainage.I agree the view it’s nice but the room it’s not clean.the floor a lot of hairs& the coffee mug it’s not wash.i so this review to help enhance the cleanliness.it’s very important to serve and to give to our guest the clean room.I’m a hotelier for 14 years and every-time someone from our guest will do a comment we appreciate to help us what we can see that our guest can see.Even beside the entrance of the lobby a lot of cigarette butts which that area suppose is clean.

Isolated location with limited transport options unless you know how to move around like a local. Front desk said only one shuttle per day departs at 08:15am. I see a taxi here and there but I cannot seem to get one. Hotel rooms are basic but clean and decent but the location I am a stones throw from the magnificent HK skyline but am stuck over here like a prisoner.

Here you can stay very good and cheap. For this money, u can't stay better in HK. Not too small, easy, with good view. I have sit a long time in the window and view to the container Terminal, the 400m tall ships are crazy.

Stayed twice about one year apart at this property and differences were night and day. The hotel finally offers Wifi in the guest rooms and cleanliness seemed to have improved. My room featured high ceilings, a large window with good views of the container terminal, minifridge, and kettle with tea bags, though I didn't care for their tea. Contrasting my previous stay, the room now had a proper desk which made working much easier despite the compact size of the room. Only toiletries provided is shampoo from wall-dispenser in the shower. The bed is comfortable and overall the room was quiet. I don't know why, but this hotel is always very busy and there will be many people waiting for the lift and you'll likely need to stop on many floors on the way up and down. If you want to walk to the MTR it's a fairly long walk of at least 15 minutes, but the complex is served by minibus which will have queues at peak times. Dining options in the immediate vicinity of the property are not too extensive but the hotel restaurant of the adjacent Winland 800 hotel is good and reasonably priced. Staff is generally nice and tries to be helpful. Printing was charged at $10 per page. Putting aside the out of the way location, if you are looking for the cheapest stay possible in Hong Kong while a safe, full-service property with modern fixtures, this hotel is hard to beat.

Good experienced !! The willingness towards the staff to serve and do their job with dedication is visible so company can give 5 star 🌟 to Ms Rain good manner in telephone , and to Ms Grace at the reception very flexible and welcoming manner well done another 5 star 🌟 except TWO staff who assign at night shift OCEAN who work in reception and security name CLIFF very rude unbelievable escorted us all the way to the lift and give commotion he was unsure of our stay and asking what room number are we?? He only asked my family not the others we were three group in lift queuing that time but he only asked our ROOM NUMBER not the rest. These two staff Ocean & Cliff can ruin easily the momentum of your hotel guest will go to a waste.. regardless of the ranking star of your hotel service MUST always the top priority at all times.. Peter the duty manager of that shift came and solved our request as simple as less than 30seconds we only want to blow a bday cake with a very simple 1candle thats all.. Peter did his job well as the duty manager 💪💪 from the excellent service of Rain,Grace, & Peter it make our family come back very soon.
