Place was great! Near MTR i think its exit E2. Near shopping area and rstaurant, street foods in front lf the hotel. streets are very lively until midnight, its my second time in Hong Kong and I really want to stay in Mongkok. We had the room for 3 pax, room was very small but you'll get used to it. Rooms are very clean. No breakfast, small hotel, smaller rooms than expected. Fast net connection if you're near the router.

I booked a room with two double beds with Sing Yuet Hostel but upon checking in, the room is not available. The staff gave us a room with a double bed and one single bed. I was disappointed since that is not what I paid for. But the room was good enough. We were transferred to the right room the following day which was better. The room is small, the toilet is really small but works well for Asians. It is comfortable enough for two. The room and toilet are very clean. Good wi-fi connection, comfortable bed. There's also water dispenser at the hallway.
You will go through a tiny hallway to go to the two very small elevators (2-3 persons only with luggage) of the building. This is an old building but if you need a hotel that is right in the heart of everything, this is a very good choice. The 8F rooms look new, so better to stay there. This hostel is located in the shopping area, very near the night market, money changers, just a few meters to the MTR, a few blocks to the mall, Langham Place and to the bus station going to the airport. Very convenient! I would recommend this hostel if you just stay for a few nights and would not mind the small space.

Perfect location to stay when in HK! MTR station is just 2 mins away so as the food establishments to enjoy. Night Market and other stores to shop is just few steps away. The room and t/b is quite small which is very typical when in Mongkok. We truly appreciate the cleanliness since the staff cleans the room everyday. No need to bring towels, soap and shampoo since they also provide it for you. Bring an extra 100 HKD for your deposit as you may claim it after checking out the Hostel. :)

The hostel is located in a building near Mong Kok MTR exit E2. The entrance to the building is tiny so you might need to keep your eyes peeled. The room is very small - which is absolutely normal for hotels and guesthouses of this price in HK. We booked a twin room for our 4 night stay and didn't have much to complain. The room, which you have to pay $100 deposit on arrival, was very clean and was tidied every day while we were out. This includes new towel every day. The doors now also have digital key card lock instead of normal doorknobs. They also provide free hot and cold water. The staff were quite friendly even though they didn't speak much English. You can also leave your luggage at the hotel after you check out.

The only thing that we feel could be improve is the air conditioner which is old and takes a long time to cool the room despite the fact that the room is only about 9 sqm. Also if you are a tall or big person then you might consider staying elsewhere or book a bigger room. I'm 5' 5" (167 cm) tall and the bed is barely long enough for me. Also if you are unlucky and happen to stay next to loudmouth neighbours like we did then be aware that you might hear them through the wall.

All in all, we had a pleasant time and will most likely stay there again on our next HK visit.

Rooms are small yet CLEAN especially the bathroom. They change linens daily which made us very relaxed after a long and tiring day. They have free water on a dispenser outside the room. The only problem was it only has one and small elevator which sometimes makes a long que waiting for about 5-10 mins. The hostel was in great location since it is located near the shopping area, restaurants, MTR (mongkok station) and bus stops. By the way, we took Citybus A21 from the airport and alighted at the 7th bus stop (Bank Centre, Nathan Road) which cost HKD33. Will definitely go back to this hostel.

Stayed with my 3 year old son. Sing Yuet is a very good choice while in HK

Pros:
• Excellent location, in the middle of shopping district
• 2 minutes aways from MTR (Mongkok E2 exit)
• Beside Ladies market
• In front of Mongkok street food, near Mcdonald's, Cafe de coral, Wellcome supermarket and a lot more
• For Pinoys, Jollibee is just 4-5 minutes away
• Rooms are Small but cute and manageable, single room has pull-up bed that you can use
• private toilet
• Quiet since located at the 10th floor
• Accomodating receptionist (nights shift)
• Sahmpoo, soap, toothbrush, and new towels are provided everyday

Cons:
A little disappointing with the cleanliness when we checked-in because there's a used tissue paper floating in the toilet, It feels like the the room was never cleaned after the previous guest, even the smell of linens aren't that fresh.

Location in the middle of Mongkok which was very convenient for food & shopping. The room, blanket & floor were not clean. Was bitten by mosquito and bedbug. 1 lift not working 1 day after we checked in. No one bothered to come for repair. Room, toilet and lift as well were very small and crampy.

Best location in HK!! We saved a lot of time in travelling around because we stayed here. Exactly at the middle of mongkok. If your itinerary is mostly shopping and eating, better stay here. Just 3 minute walk to mtr mongkok station. 1 minute to ladies market and sneakers street. Restaurants everywhere like dim dim sum, mcdo, milk tea, jollibee, cafe de coral etc.

It was a hassle-free experience to be able to go to our room and drop the paper bags then go to dinner or go somewhere else. We didn’t have to carry all the stuff around. We can go to our room to use the bathroom if we need to. 😄 Street food in front of the building, grocery, mannings, sasa just few steps away.

The place is very clean. They changed our towels everyday. The receptionists are kind, friendly and very welcoming! They have free water too which is a plus everyday. The shower has hot water. The hostel is at the 10th floor pf the building which is not crowded compared to other hostels/inn in tst. This place is super clean and safe! They have a 100hkd deposit and refundable upon check out. The only downside is the hard bed. Would be nice to sleep in a softer bed after all the walk all day but we only slept for 5 hrs per day so it was ok.

Overall, we will book this place again when we go back to hongkong. This is a great choice for a very good price!

This hostel is VERY PERFECT for budget traveler like my family. The location is very nice because it is near MTR, Bus station, places to eat (Mc Donalds is very near), places to shop (ladies market is just like 20 steps away). The room, albeit small, is very clean and the towels are changed everyday. I JUST LOVE THIS HOSTEL. The staff are lovely . Although they speak little to no English, but the translator will do the trick. I would surely stay again... highly recommended.

Stayed here with friends last Feb. 6-10, 2019.

I saw almost all the reviews in the internet before booking and arriving in this hostel. So I am not expecting it to be very comfy and beautiful like the usual. BUT, it turned out its really nice and we get more than what we paid for!

Pros:
-Could check-in at 12noon.
- We booked for a quad-sharing room, but was upgraded to a family room
-Family room is really big, with its own kitchen and small garden 😍
-Clean room, free towels and toiletries
-Ms.Cheuk is really nice though she cannot speak English. But the guy who was also in the front desk could speak english better. Both of them are nice and accommodating.
-Location of the hostel is close to everything you need like mtr station, bus stop, night market is just outside the bldg, street foods are everywhere!

Will definitely be back here 😊
