Nestled in the vibrant heart of Hong Kong, this hostel stands out as an unparalleled choice for those who truly want to immerse themselves in the city's rhythm and energy. What makes this hostel particularly memorable is not just its prime location, but its outstanding hospitality. The staff’s unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction transforms a mere lodging experience into a delightful encounter with the city's warm-hearted locals. It's worth noting that while the rooms might be on the cozier side, they are impeccably clean, a testament to the hostel's dedication to upholding top-tier service standards. This compact room size is emblematic of Hong Kong's dense urban setting. Rather than viewing it as a limitation, one can see it as an authentic representation of life in one of the world's most bustling metropolises. Essentially, the rooms, though compact, exude comfort and cleanliness, ensuring guests feel right at home. For those seeking a genuine Hong Kong experience complete with heartfelt hospitality and an authentic glimpse into the city's daily life, this hostel is highly recommended. Its perfect blend of strategic location and commendable service makes it a must-visit for any discerning traveler.

There are more beds in the room than it actually fits, so no space for proper lockers No activities in the hostel. No bar or restaurant. TV room closes at 11pm. Location is the best. Right on TST área, easy commute to bar/clubs street at night. Lots of restaurants on the street.

Obliging staff who help as best they can. Excellent location. Opposite Kowloon Park and MTR station, which will take you everywhere. Walking distance to Avenue of Stars, Hong Kong Space Museum, Ferry Terminal, Avenue of Comic Stars / Victoria Harbour, many malls and eateries. Not an overly crowded and busy building unlike Chungking Mansions, which is packed with lots of people wanting to use the elevator, therefore very happy to have stayed here in a less bustling building. Was on the 14th Floor, which was fairly quiet besides slight traffic noise from being on a main road. Compact Private Room with shower over the toilet, but that is the norm. Equipped with a kettle, but no tea or coffee provided in the room. We needed to go to the common Room to get our own tea and coffee, which is freely available. No water bottles provided in room either. Soft, comfortable bed. Hot water in shower didn't last long. Only about ten minutes before becoming lukewarm. The balcony was unusable as it seemed to be full of junk or something. Easy check in and check out. Overall a simplistic, no thrills room, but extremely suitable if you are just after a place to sleep and wash and be in a location near main attractions and MTR so you can go just about anywhere.

Good entertainment like pub crawls and communicative athmosphere. Owners/managers are really nice. Had the solo room. Could use a technical overhaul (toilet mount gross/leaking shower/toilet, not sure) Would for sure come back, since to me it is more the people that count, than to much attention to small details.

I was apart of a group of 4 and we received a private room. Unfortunately, it was very difficult to first find the hostel, and then when we arrived, there wasn't anyone there to check us in. We arrived early and the sign said to call someone when it is off hours. When we called, no one answered. Luckily someone let us in but it took about an hour for us to get to our room from arriving to the hostel. Then the room was insanely small. I know rooms are tiny in cities but this was insane. You couldn't even have a suitcase open on the floor. The rooms next to us were not as small as ours and had less people so I don't know why we were stuffed to the side. We also left the hostel after check out so they held our bags in the cramped hallway in front of check in. For one thing, that is totally not safe, another there wasn't a staff person there watching the bags at all times. Anyone could have taken the bags and there were so many sitting outside the door that the door almost didn't open. Completely disorganized. We weren't there long enough to get a grasp of how the staff were but that may be an indication as well since there were no staff to really talk to. I guess I didn't realize I didn't enjoy this hostel until just now. It was very average and I'm glad I only had to stay one night. I was supposed to stay two nights but flights messed things up and I still had to pay for the one night even though we didn't stay. Not the hostels fault at all, just a bummer since it was lost money and it wasn't that great of a hostel.

Thank you for leaving us a review. I remembered that you and 2 of your friends arrived one day later but one of your friend, Jennifier has arrived first. I was the one who checked her in and I was explaining to her that we couldn't issue a refund for that one night because of the short notice and she totally understand. Your friend didn't wait for one second upon her arrival, we showed her around the place and explained to her very well of what to do in Hong Kong and showed her of all of our common areas. Your friend was super nice and I've already told her the room that you booked wasn't too big but she can use all the space outside the room to put the suitcase and to unload her belongings since the unit that you were staying was basically empty and other 2 rooms didn't have any guests staying there. Since the political crisis happened in June, we lost substantial amount of businesses and some of our staffs were on leaves therefore sometimes one of us has stepped out for lunch or doing work on other floor then we might not able to serve you right away but from 2pm to midnight during our check-in time for sure we will have someone at the desk. My knowledge is if we checked-in your friend I assumed that you have also checked in too because it was under the same booking plus our check-in time is 2pm so we might stepping out for lunch before that. Even if we are not at our desk, we have two 24 hours CCTV to monitor the luggage area so you don't need to worry about the safety and our front door need a key code to open. You can ask your friend Jennifer how did we greet her when she arrived and we spent almost 30 minutes to talk with her not you said no staff to talk to....Hostels in Hong Kong are small and land is expensive so if you want to enjoy luxury and space then you shouldn't save the money but to book two individual hotel rooms not a 4 bed dorm. I'm glad that your friend has a more warmed heart and more of a understanding person than you.

Me and my family was traveling around Asia and our stop in Hong Kong was at Urban Pack. We rented a whole unit which there is a nice rooftop for us to chill out! The only down side is we needs to walk up a few stairs which is ok for us. Many attractions around our building and very close by the star ferry. Would recommend this to my friends.

Choose this place because of the location but it is the staff that makes the place good since I was traveling alone but a big warm welcoming from the staffs. The first thing we talked about was the champion that we won! That was for sure a good welcoming. Even though the hostel is in different floors, it was easy to access to the common spaces and the balcony for the great view of the Kowloon park. It was a short stay but I will visit back for sure.

A very convenient location which is very close by to many attraction like the newly renovated Avenue of Stars or the Kowloon Park! The hostel is nicely decorated which there is a very nice common area. I met a few Canadians there as well during my stay. My room was well equipped with USB plugs and a small trey for me to put personal stuff. It is a very cozy place to stay and thanks to all the stuff since they were very helpful right from the beginning. The owner Jensen even bought us out for a drink at night. Would recommend this place to all my friends and will definitely stay there again. Keep up the good work guys!

People are really kind. The rooms are alwasy clean and in order. Staff is always taking care of the higyne in the rooms, bathroom and common áreas. In the 15th floor there is the lounge where you can chill and talk with People from all over the World that are always traveling. And staff is always willing to help and the place has a really chill vibe. The Location is really convenient, there is a metro station near, and also bus station. If you got any doubts about places to go and where you can eat you can ask the staff. Hope to come back soon.

I stayed two night in this hostel and got bitten by bed bugs and I’ve seen them too..and I also saw smaller insects on my pillow, no idea what these were?? When I told them their reaction was rather agressive and not really getting me at all, pretty rude! I showed them my legs, full of bites!they were just like, yes you know people travel here and there...as it was normal?? One of the guys working thete gave me some cream that supposed to help, but it wasnt really anti itch cream or anything against my bites. Besides that the room (6female dorm, was tiny which is a normal thing in hong kong, but the smell in this room was pretty horrible I have to say, and not even a laptop fits in their locker. It was very bad!

Thank you for your valuable review. We have aware of the bed bugs situation that's why the unit that you were staying is now undergoing major renovations that will end in mid of July. Just last week we did found bed bugs in the room that you stayed (6 female dorm) when we tear down all the beds and removed all wood flooring. We are changing all the wood flooring into tiles and hide all the electrical cable housing inside the wall to prevent bed bugs infest there again. We also ordered new beds and mattresses for the room which will deliver after the renovation. As you may know, our hostel has multiple floors with different units and the unit that you were staying was the last unit we will complete renovations this year. There were 4 other units already completed a new renovation and we didn't get any sign of bed bugs ever since. Due to the fact bed bug infestation is a global issue for hostels especially in Asia and brought in by travelers around the world, therefore we will keep a close monitoring on the situation and do pest control periodically. We will update our social media when the renovation completed so for those who are reading this post who are intending to make a reservation not to be worried too much. Hope beside this incident happened to you that you still enjoyed your time in Hong Kong. We are one of those hostels that care about customer satisfaction and find ways to attack problems. In this coming year, we will focus more on the cleanliness and customer care part to make sure our guest is stay in a bug-free hostel. Best of luck, Hostel Management
