Extremely bad service，staff have very bad attitude，frivolous，rude 。 Especially the male staff in afternoon while check in and the overnight man. Never met employees never say thank you (during check in and phone call) in a accommodation and the customer service industry , I’m much polite than the staff lol View is nice only in high floor, they offer 9/f (out of 36/f) to me and mentioned that was the highest level of the “hotel”, cant even see the sea at the highest level, it was so disappointed. I have to pay extra$500for upgrade, only if I didn’t TOUCH anything inside the room. They provide no information to me, even how to card swipe for elevator, complementary bottled water. Air conditioner can adjust temperature! The key is old style! It was a awful stay! …
I've stayed at Twenty One Whitfield a few years ago and loved my experience then, but I'm sorry to say that I can no longer recommend them if you are a business traveller who requires high-speed internet. The highest internet speed in the room I was able to get during my current stay is 0.95 mbps download and 0.91 mbps upload, which is inadequate for most video conferencing or video streaming, and extremely slow in general where it takes ages for average web pages and mobile apps to load. If you need a stove, make sure to double check and see if they still offer any rooms with them and request that particular room. That was one of the main reasons I'd booked this property again, but it sounds like only some rooms have them now. Housekeeping and maintenance has room for improvement. (I'm mid-stay right now, and will update this review with more details depending on how they handle the points they've missed, which includes forgetting to provide utensils/plates/bowls and not delivering them after requesting them, and not fixing the shower head or following up about its status.) Overall, the location is good, close to many local restaurants and the MTR; the view is wonderful; and the bed is comfortable. If you're not picky with housekeeping and maintenance, and don't need strong internet or a real kitchen, it's a decent place to stay. For business travellers who need high-speed internet: I ended up purchasing a one-week pass at a co-working space one block away (Metropolitan Workshop Tin Hau) for $500 HKD. They allow you to access the space 24/7 after you sign a contract. Perfect for when you need to have super early/late conference calls and your hotel internet fails you.…
This hotel feels more like a service apartment so expect a kitchen, decent amount of space but you will not be waited on hand and foot by the concierge and for that price that is fair enough. I would recommend getting a room on a floor above floor 26 so you will be above the ugly block of flats which are next to it. Worth staying even if just for one night!
This is my second time staying in this hotel. The first time, we traveled just as a couple and got a suite, which was huge. The second time, a standard room with a rollaway for our young daughter. The best part of this hotel are: 1. Location - less than 5 minutes to the MTR 2. Stunning minimalist rooms with wraparound views 3. Sparkling clean Just take note, buildings in HK are cheek to jowl. You will be able to look right into the apartments around you (complete with their TV program, facial expressions etc), just as they are able to look into yours! Just lower the blinds for privacy.
The view is good. Location is fine. 5 minutes Walking distance from the fortress hill MTR station. The bed can be moved near the window, good for taking photos with some sea views and buildings. But the front desk staffs are very rude, arrogant and impolite. They are very bad attitude. They will charge you early check in fee although you are arrived one half ahead the check In time. This is ridiculous. Not recommended to stay in this hotel if you expect the staff are welcomed you, helpful or friendly.
The harbour view is everything. As long as you get a room, either A or B, on higher floors, you are blessed with stunning harbour views - which makes it very competitive among all harbour view hotels along the coast. While I love the kitchenette and cosy living area in each room, some almost fatal shortcomings hinder the hotel from going to the top. First - as mentioned in all other reviews - do not expect professional hospitality. Once I checked in, I found myself interrupting the front desk girl's boyfriend who was paying a sweet visit with takeaway in his hand. The room provides no USB hubs. It still has the outdated iPod dock.
For that price, u are basically paying just for the view and nothing else. the floor is dirty, the room is small. the service is poor. hotel staffs greets u with a poker face. u can get 5 stars hotel with 5 star service elsewhere for the price u're paying.
Hotel was distance from the Tin Hau MTR station, but it was easy to find. I booked this hotel because for its 3 sides large window with exceptional view, and it did not disappoint me! but also need to keep in mind that another residential building is only less then 10 meters away and the hotel window is not reflective, so theres no privacy if you keep the curtain open. The room was like a studio, with cooking facilities. everything was clean. At tinhau there were many nice local restaurants. our stay was very nice. and after our stay, we posted a photo of their view on instagram, they have also greet us in nice manners.
I should give them an award for the lousiest service hotel in HK. Enter the room to find a strand of hair hanging by the toilet bowl. Showed the front desk the photo, he looked at me and replied: “it’s only a hair” Wow, it’s only a hair? What kind of standard is their housekeeping. Also informed the front desk that there is no wifi for my floor and room. I have to use other floor wifi and the reply was “I will look into it”. Came back after three hours later, the hair is still clinging to the toilet bowl and I still have to leech on other floor wifi. I also experienced more things: The air in the room is stale and filled with cigarette smoke smell. The shower rose and rain shower could not alternate but come on together when the tap is turned on. Never before I experienced such pathetic service for my hotel stays in Hong Kong. …
Terrible hotel experiences. Round the toilet it was dirty and was not well clean by the housekeeping attendant. Then, i found the kettle was with water inside. I went down to reception and expressed the situation and your staff went to 9A with room check and she said the room was well clean and the kettle was clean after that why some water inside the kettle. How bad and attitude she was told me. Her manner and attitude was awful. And you imagine she working in hotel hospitality industry. What a awful experience. She did arranged room change to 9B. However, water same inside the kettle, smoking smell and dirty carpet. I accidentally found a expired body lotion with your hotel brand. Very terrible hotel. How come it has expired half an year already and still given to the guest. What a terrible hotel and management. Don't stay in this hotel anymore everyone. Dirty bathroom and expired body lotion. Poor Management especially the hotel manager deal with the case. AWFUL. I have call the hotel manager for this situation after we have spoke in the middle, she has cut off the line, coz she's angry. How unbelievable in the hospitality industry. If she doesn't like her job, she can go back home to sleep. But do not speak in this way with this manner to customers.…
