Stayed in room 1201. Horrible Mattresses: The 2 mattresses in Room 1201 were horrible & unfit for anyone to use. We felt ALL the metal springs digging into our backs/arms/legs when we laid on top of the mattresses. We asked for new mattresses and was denied. We asked for a refund and was also denied. Rude female employee: The female employee who came to Room 1201 on the morning of June 27, 2023 was rude and should not be in customer service. She basically said....this is a cheap hotel; you get what you paid for. What an idiot. When there are no guests = no profit = no job for her. No desk & no chair in the room: Something to note if you plan on doing work. Note to the Franchisee of this hotel: You should invest in new plush mattresses. Guests want to rest comfortably and get a good night's sleep.

The hotel is at a very good location with lots of shops and restaurants where you can get everything you want within reach. The TST MTR is only 8 minutes walk from the hotel, which is an added bonus in travelling both the Hong Kong and Kowloon areas. The staff of the hotel are nice, friendly and helpful especially Winnie who helps me a lot during my stay for 2 weeks. She answers all my questions as I haven’t been back to HK for so many years. The hotel is bit dated and needs some refurbishments, otherwise it will be perfect. With the amazing price, I get what I want.

Extremely poor hotel, service is very very bad. No one picks call at room service, reception. When you give feedback at reception then they don’t care. Also rooms are not that clean. It was my first and last stay at this hotel. They don’t think from customer point of view.

Good location within walking distance to MTR station for Jordan and Nathan Road. Can easily walk to Tsim Sha Tsui East. Room is clean and common areas look neat and tidy. Staff are polite and helpful. Hassle free check out with the key-drop box near the exit door. Will recommend friends here.

When 1st moved in they told me it was $300/night. They they upped it to $330 & yesterday they told me there will be no space unless I pay in full till the end of the month. $330 is a lot. Don’t stay in this hotel it’s in the middle of a smelly market. I can book better hotel like ibis for cheaper & it’s in a nice neighbourhood.

Everything about this hotel is cheapskate - one of the worst hotels I've stayed at. Because I was there for traveller's quarantine, I was in the hotel room for 7 days without leaving the room. The worst part is the food which can only be described as prison-level. Boiled meat bits, corn-starch gravies, steamed corn and diced carrots nearly everyday - in short the cheapest / easiest / most convenient / laziest ways to make food, using ingredients that might be leftovers / discarded. Even the boiled egg is stained inside. Bottled water only, no teabags even. Honestly I wasn't able to identify what some of the food was supposed to be. I paid $700 / night but another $300 / day for foodpanda deliveries, and I'm not even a picky eater. There's plenty of complaints from other reviewers about the food as you can see. To be fair, there was 1 meal which was meat sauce fusili with a few flakes of cheese which I thought was acceptable. Also, the staff were relatively prompt in passing along my food delivery from foodpanda which was commendable. The wifi was terrible, 1/3 time it was snail slow, 1/3 time it didn't work, 1/3 time it was acceptable. The room smelt terrible - years of cigarette smoke buildup (but we weren't allowed to open windows). The floors and ceilings were somewhat filthy and grimey in all the cracks. The shower curtain smelt moldy. The toilet tank never had enough water to properly flush a load of sewage - the loo water is always a bit brown. The bed was a very cheap basic spring-mattress type with hard wire edges inside that dug into your thighs when you're sat (there were no chairs either, just a tiny stool). There wasn't a proper table so me and my wife had shoulder / back pains by the time we left, hunched over a little bed-side cabinet for days. Reception was unreachable 1/3 of the time we called. Have a bit of dignity for yourself and go book a proper hotel for your quarantine (or vacation) :)

I had a reservation at the Ramada Hong Kong Grand, Tsim Sha Tsui between 11-14 September 2022. I Booked it because it was close to our home. Basically I Knew that the food provided by the hotel is horrible so I wanted home food delivery. The person responsible for handling check-out was super rude. He was yelling at Senior Citizens for not filling up the forms. passing remarks like "diu", "shut up" and "get out" to everyone. I have never come across such a staff in any other hotel across the world (not only in HK)! The service is way below standard. If anyone from Ramada is reading this - Please remind this assistant that he's getting paid to do this job! He is getting paid to serve the guests. The guests did not pay to be treated like sh**. If he cannot handle it - He should quit instead of taking out his frustration on people who are unable to communicate due to language barriers. The Hotel has a real problem, everything in room is dirty and there's no proper-mechanism of checking out. The lobby is packed. Well - I had my food delivered from home. But I was told that there was no record of any delivery and while checking out, I saw my delivery lying at the entrance of next door.🌚 Bro Seriously? An advice : Please send your staff at CORDIS for customer service training.

You get what you paid is a fair statement, but not for this hotel, I booked this hotel as a the last resort when I could not find out other hotels fit my schedule, even feel lucky until I stay in . The worst experience for me is that I have to work with laptop and phone, and the wifi can not be worse! Quarantine in this hotel may take you 2 hours to send an email, continuous disruption when you do zoom or even worse that you fill in the form and it keep lagging for hours that you finally do not even know what you send out.

This was a last minute quarantine booking as I had to return to Hong Kong for work. I can’t imagine anything worse here - wish I’d checked the reviews - I’d have stayed in the UK and bore the consequences. The hotel is outdated is every respect as the hotel’s photos here are deceptively flattering. Now, it’s clear that hotel management looks at the reviews here. It’s equally clear that there’s a fairly standard response to the many, many previous negative postings. What is not so clear is what action has been taken in response to these complaints. My room is dark, damp, dirty and smelly, and overall, just in a very poor state of repair sporting decades old decor. It is damp. So damp that the dampness doesn’t actually go away, evidenced by the fact that the wooden floor by the door remains constantly wet. Mould clearly thrives here so if you have any kind of respiratory condition - it’s truly hazardous - if you don’t have a condition, wear a mask - it may just save you from one. The fridge smells and doesn’t work as a fridge should. The kettle is old, exceptionally dirty and barely functions. The room lighting is covered in plastic and harbours dead insects. The basin is blocked and there is a sandy, dust-like residue left when the water finally drains. The food? It isn’t! Truly awful, tasteless tripe that comes cold in plastic containers that anyone could be doing anything to. Don’t do it! Really! Oh, and don’t bother complaining. When you do finally get through to the hotel staff, they are rude and unhelpful and sadly like most local people here, empathy is not a thing. For daring to come to Hong Kong you’ll suffer alone in this place - be warned.
