Staff was kind and really cooperative. The location was also good. Had access to a lot of local amenities just step away from the hotel. It was a genuinely pleasant and fruitful experience for me. Really made my stay enjoyable.
Pathetic amenities and extremely rude reception staff. First night stay, early morning washroom was choked and everything enetered into room. Though they shifted the room, while we came back in night, no cleaning done in room.
California hotel in Hong Kong Tsim sha Sui,is the worst hotel I have ever sayed in my last 12 years of traveling. The hotel toilet size are so very small 3 feet x3 feet it included ur WB,WC and shower.U need to site on Commod to take shower. Bed sizes very small in length less than 5 feet 6 inches.Staff very very rude, All fellow travels avoid this hotel at all cost,Tsim sha sui is a great location for tourist but avoid this hotel at all cost.We Request TripAdvisor to down grade this hotel to single star as other fellow travelers will get cheated by looking at 3 stars.I can just keep writing some many things not write with this hotel, the smells in th room, just avoid.Look for better hotel in same location.Makemytrip team do downgrade this hotel to 1 star as its not even close to 2 star hotel.…
I embarked on this dangerous journey with 12 family members. Where do I even begin? Rooms are hideously small, a family of 3 can’t even open a single luggage case completely on the floor. Beds were old and creaky, bed frames were broken. Toilets are made for contortionists: Poor quality frosted glass doors and mold on the toilet walls made for a terrible experience. Litter and cigarette buds were found under the bed. Cobwebs splayed on ceiling made for an interesting nighttime view. Every room smelt like cigarettes and was not soundproof at all. The kicker was that the receptionist refused to give an extra bottle of water to a room of three. Extremely rude and unfriendly service. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.
The hotel v.v clean and the hotel team are so good . I extend 4 more nights . The metro is so closed and restaurants and i square. And near the mosque for Muslims who want to pray . I ll come again. . . Thanks
We have book via Booking.com 1months in advance but 1 day before check in date ,I got an email for my card invalid and after I up date other card ,I got an email that my booking was canceled. Hotel is Good location and the staff and service is ok with reasonable price .
Visited hong kong from 8th dec till 14th dec 2017. Stayed at California Hotel HK, stratigically located at Tsim Sha Tsui. Booked room with 2 double bed, for 2 adult and 2 child. Hotel lobby and walkway was very clean. The room was surprisingly spacious. Heater was working great. Have an electric kettle and hairdryer. The room is cleaned everyday, fresh towels and water bottles are provided everyday. The staffs are very friendly and gave clear and accurate direction to all attractions. Tsim Sha Tsui Metro stn is just right next the hitel. Travelling to any parts of HK is so convinient. Great and pleaseant stay.
The property is in a convenient location, just walking distance to the China Ferry Terminal, Avenue of Stars, Promenade, etc. Entrance to the property is a bit hard to locate since there is no signage. From the airport, take A21 and alight at Carnarvon Road. The entrance is just between Bonjour and Standard Chartered Bank, and hop on to the lift going to level 4 for the hotel. Lobby of the property is narrow, though well-decorated and air conditioned. We just don't like the fact that guests can smoke in the waiting area, a closed space, whereas the property has a small open garden. The receptionists are friendly and accomodating. Front desk is open for 24 hours. After 10 pm, the steel doors of the building is closed, but not locked. We booked a family room. There is a free WiFi, though the connection is very slow. Towels are changed everyday. There is also a complimentary drinking water, instant coffee, electric kettle, hair blower, and safety vault. Toothbrush and slippers are also provided. Shampoo and body wash are also available. Though the room can accomodate 6 persons, the layout of the room was not as advertised. Also, we saw empty water bottles inside one of the cabinets. Below the beds are dusty, and we even saw a sack. The bathroom is very small that we often bump the wall and the ceiling while taking a shower. I'm 5'6" in height, and the ceiling of the bathroom is just a few inches from my head. I know that spaces in Hong Kong are small, but the bathroom is extremely small. The walls of the bathroom are also made of frosted glass, so we all have to go to the connecting room when one of us will take a shower. Overall, the property is good for those who just want to recharge. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.…
Its really bad real bad..i stay with my wife and my mother and my 6 month old baby..i stay in 4 people room they only give us 2 bottle of water.all i ask is just another extra 1 bottle of water, but guy in receptionist wont gave us just extra 1 bottle of water..so stingy..i never experience this kind of problem in another hotel..room is small but thats not a problem, but the hotel smell cigarrtte all the time..
If you are 5'5"+ and over 65kgs than I would strongly suggest you seriously consider elsewhere, unless you are happy with wet towel wipe, or gymnastically trained; the combined toilet and shower room was not designed for a western frame! Once you got pass the above handicapped you'll fine, the bed was firm and comfortable, beneath the bed has plenty of space for storage, it has AC., tv, a small fridge, and kettle for hot water, a large bathing towel, a medium hand towel and floor towel, all in a small 'manageable' room space, for the price you paid! There was also a larger communal fridge in the communal area. I suspect the shower room ventilation wasn't working/effective, as the cold floor has plenty of condensation after a shower. As the electricity stays on after you left the room I would suggest you leave the AC on at minimum, otherwise you'll come back to a soggy floor! The staff was very helpful though. I would suggest you stay no longer than 3/4 nights!…
