The view of my large balcony room is magnificent - yachts, blue skies, tranquil sea. The interior is obviously beautifully refurbished (considering the history of the hotel). Services are also world-class. I feel exclusively treated. The Gold Coast Hotel is the “business class” of hotels, very different from those “economy class”. They offer genuine conventional hospitality in an extremely affordable rate, appreciated!!

The hotel facilities & the staff is very nice. Although most of the facilities has been closed because of convid-19. However, we still can join the art workshop with kid. We have a fabulous staycation.

Room: cozy and clean ; nice view facing the yacht club. Service: Helpful and polite receptionist. Dining: Very nice steam fish in Yue plus 100/100 service. Location: Next to the beach where you may walk along by sunset. Highly recommend!

We stayed 2 nights at the HK Gold Coast hotel. Booked a premium balcony room which was really specious with 'wood' flooring which is nice and hygienic. Balcony is really large and provided ample space for dinner on our balcony. Staff at the hotel was really lovely and responsive and we had a good time but there were a few things: - rollaway bed was a very old bed (they might have been busy as kids holiday). Mattress was really old and hard, you could feel the iron springs. They did not have mattress toppers available. The bed was not even straight, see picture, which is pretty much a back killer for anyone. The put an extra duvet on top but that did not help a lot - Interestingly the towels were put on a shelf above the bathtub behind a glass partition which meant you had to climb into the tub to get your towel (and so does the housekeeping staff) - Our first night someone brought their own cooking device and starting frying some smelly fatty stuff on the balcony???? Hotel staff was very good and immediately came to our balcony and told them to immediately stop it - the gold coast has their own noisy person who pretty much is screaming loudly from Dolphin Square to train is voice cords or something, every hour or so I heard this loud screaming throughout the night and early morning - Breakfast buffet was served in the morning, they now have staff putting it on your plate which is great. Hopefully helps reduce food waste. Quality of food is of average quality and more catering towards quantity then quality. It is a great hotel for family holidays with young kids if facilities are open outside of Covid times, the hotel is catered for it. Beach in front of the hotel, big pool area, pizza restaurants and other kid friendly places. There is some interesting hiking in the Tuen Mun area and the landscape with pines…
