Perfect location and great service. Contemporary décor and tidy room with city view, very nice although I feel it needs to modernize. Very attentive and multi-lingual staff, a plus. The executive lounge is quite small compare to other Sheraton hotels of the same caliber.
We are under compulsory hotel quarantine in Sheraton. We chose this hotel is mainly because of its good food. The food during the quarantine is really good. The hotel staff are overall friendly and polite. Hope to come back for buffet or drinks in its bar next time not under quarantine.
We had our 9th staycation @Sheraton in September. Various packages to be selected and we chose the suite package with dining credit. We used the dining credit + several hundreds more to try the Peking Duck Set Menu @ Celestial Court. Taste of the food was so "traditional" which reminded us the food we had when we were young. A "+ " to us as we don't really concern about the "healthy"-style of cooking. :) The suite was in good-sized with more than enough bathroom amenities. However, the view was really bad and it would be fine if it is not a concern to some visitors.
We stayed in the hotel in September and I know it has been a bit late making the comment. Anyway, we had a great time in Sheraton Hong Kong. The view for the room was brilliant. We could see the Victoria Harbour. Even the hotel was a old building and the lobby looked classic, the room was nice. It was a large one, and we had a good sleep that night. The receptionist was super polite. At the same time, staff members would greet guests when they saw the guests in the corridor. I still remembered that we found out some problems of the phone and we asked for help. A staff came for help immediately and brought another spare one so that she might not have to come again and disturb the guest in case changing of phone was needed. Nice. And I asked for some additional shampoo and soap pieces and the hotel brought me some and place them well in a paper bag. And those staff members in the restaurant were so helpful. We had breakfast and some of them even introduced us the food items. (And one waitress encouraged us to try the drink that she said that was good for health). We also had buffet lunch and they found out that there wasn’t any water in my glass and refilled the glass with water immediately. Food was so far so good. But those oysters served during lunch buffet were really delicious. To conclude, perfect. Rate wasn’t expensive, but service quality was super.…
Sheraton Hong Kong has been standing in Tsim Sha Tsui since 1974. The building exterior design will remind you of the colonial time of Hong Kong. The recent refurbishment keeps the general classic tone of the hotel, creating a very welcoming and comfortable experience. At check-in, we were offered an upgrade to their Tower Suite. A very well-design suite with a dressing room to separate the toilet area. It's unfortunate that they could not upgrade us to a sea-view room because of the full occupancy. When we tried to have a look of the lounge, we were quite surprised that the tower lounge was closed for maintenance that day, and only the platinum lounge was available for the guests. It was a bit disappointing since the platinum lounge was very small and does not provide breakfast service. The pool and gym service was provided by Fitness First, so you'd expect some people with Fitness First membership using the same gym. Since the hotel has a policy now to open the pool at certain timeslot. It was indeed quite embarrassing to stand at the waiting line in our bath robe. Luckily, the pool was not very full even on a weekend. We had in-room breakfast for both days. The western breakfast was good; but the Japanese one was disastrous - they don't even care enough to use Japanese rice. I had to go to the cafe later for breakfast, which was not very pleasant. Just too many people and too little options. Overall, the service was nice and staff are very reactive. There was a little hiccup on the first night when the ventilation system smelt like weed. We called up the people for an investigation; but it felt a bit like they were trying to accuse us of smoking illegal drug. We were offered an air purifier in the end so we could have a good sleep.…
