Royal Park Hotel in Sha Tin is The only Hotel that I would stay at when ever I go to Hong Kong, either solo or family. It had always been pleasurable when ever we stay there. There’s a gym, swimming pool and free WiFi. Not that you would need to use the facilities there because the location of the hotel where shopping and eatery is right next to your doorstep. Yesterday I had booked to go to Hong Kong to spend chinese new year there but unfortunately I had a change of circumstances which meant I had to alter my booking. They amended it straight away which was unbelievable. Amazing service. Thank you so much . From Christina Lam
We are a group of travellers of 13 person with young kids and senior citizens. All our rooms were well arranged on the same floor and near to each other on our arrival. There were some hiccups on the quarantine issues and the front desk manager was very helpful in assisting to resolve the matters. Special thanks to the two managers Mr Keith Fung and Ms Iris So for being so friendly and helpful in arranging our stay. We all had a great stay in this hotel and for sure we will come back to stay again during our next trip visiting to Hong Kong.
Was great to be back in HK and staying at my favourite hotel. I like the room renovations, just could do with a few extra draws like they use to have. Would like to thank Keith Fung and his team for my reservation...also Candy Lee for her help to sort out all the relevant details for leave home safe app during check in...also thank you to the lovely Ivy Lee for keeping my room spotless...hope to stay again sometime next year...
Really great to staying at this hotel for the last two years. Especially during the hotel tranformation period, totally not a problem. Jason and Keith, thank you so much for your hospitality and generosity during our stay. You guys are such a gracious host. Thank you for all your efforts and assistance. With a heart full of gratitude, thank you. May god bless you for your amazing hospitality and kindness.
Stayed ten days. I moved rooms twice (first night aircon was noisy, second time cigarette smell was coming from the bathroom extractor). Note that the 14/F is a smoking floor and I was on the 15/F. I moved to the 12/F and that was fine. Recommend the river facing rooms as they are quieter and more pleasant than the mall facing ones, but those ones are larger. Can't comment on gym or pool as they were under renovation at the time. Great location, convenient access to New Town Plaza shopping and Shatin MTR and PCR testing behind the mall. Friendly and efficient staff. Will certainly be staying again.
I would like to express my sincerest thanks for the amazing work the hotel accomplished especially for the remarkable efforts of Roy, Rody and Kelvin from the front desk who offered me tremendous help in dealing with the COVID testings requirements imposed by the HKSAR Government. Superb customer service! Highly recommended!
Love to stay at Royal Park Hotel! This is the first time after hotel had finished part of the grand renovation. We stayed at the twin bed suite in Sep 2022. We like the new design. There are microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine in room. Same river view and room size as previous. The room is clean and tidy. I might suggest hotel to place a clock in room for guest to read the time. Moreover, the bathtub is very small and shallow. Not able to have a nice bath actually. At last but not least, we wanted to praise the phenomenal service from Jason and the team. You guys always provided the best "HOME" service. (Even much better than W Hotel, the one we stayed for quarantine.) Glad to see the familiar faces here. We hadn't return since 2020, due to the global COVID situation. Take care.…
I'll be honest, I would've given 3 bubbles but I'm giving 4 this time because of the staff's effort in trying to solve the problem. Started rough but got better in the end. This is a good sharing to learn from I believe. Upon check-in, I already had few disappointment due to the renovation work going on. Swimming pools, gym and the 2+2 restaurant (where breakfast buffet is at) are all closed. I was a bit disappointed at first as I chose this hotel for the facilities and buffet but that's okay I totally understand as they are trying to give the hotel a new look. I was also aware they were doing renovation work since last year but just wasn't expecting that the pool would still be closed. The part I HATED the most was when the front desk challenged me about their disclaimer and that they clearly written on their hotel description on Agoda that their facilities are closed. First of all, I only asked a simple question about the swimming pool arrangement. You said it was closed. Fine, totally understand. I even asked if it was possible to swim at the sister hotel as another alternative, rejected. Still fine with me but you did not have to push me to the corner by printing all the pages just to prove that you have written it on the description. I never asked to prove it. I find it quite offensive really. I requested and was given a high floor (13/F). Very delighted. I always request a high floor if possible as it is usually quieter. However, it wasn't the case. There was a strange noise above (the noise was like a deep bass vibration coming from a machine room). I initially thought it was from their construction work but it wasn't. I asked the front desk team to inspect. Later, found that it was coming from their air conditioning machine room. I was offered room change to the 5/F as their hotel was running full which I understand. So my advise, better pick low to mid floors if you are a sensitive sleeper. Rooms newly renovated with an air purifier in each rooms. Most of the rooms now are standing shower so do make sure to double check with the front desk if you requested for bathtub. Breakfast was semi-buffet (appetizer - buffet style + choose 1 main course) at their Japanese restaurant - Yama. I must say the ramen I ordered was very delicious. I loved it! I wished they would have eggs served on the buffet table, I think it's a must have for breakfast. Thank you Jason Cheung for trying your best to solve the noise issue. Very swift and helpful, much appreciated! Also, thank you Kitty, 13/F housekeeping, very warm and friendly! The main reason why I still gave a 4 was because of your hospitality.…
The hotel staff were wonderful and incredibly helpful. Day 1, they provided a wheel chair for my husband, Day 8 and Day 12 they helped us to navigate the intricacies of Covid testing in Hong Kong, and on my final day they managed to find my wedding ring. They have recently opened up a truly exceptional Japanese restaurant on the ground floor with quite astonishingly recherche cuisine. We also loved the breakfast buffets on the third floor - a real bargain at only 70 HKD per head. And it was nice to see that the 2+2 restaurant on the third floor is doing so well Everything from apple crumble to lobsters and everything in between. All in all a five star experience. Many thanks to tall he hotel staff, and in particular the concierge and reception, who made our stay so special.…
Royal Park Hotel is the only choice for staying in Hong Kong. Before the global Covid pandemic, we used to stay here for many times. the location is collected to the MTR station, convenient for our business in China. My group stayed at Executive Floor since 2010. We loved the cozy lounge on top floor. Served breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktail during the day. You can have free flow of chill beer, cocktails with snacks, definitely well worth. Miss the superb team, Jason Yanness & Stephanie. Thank you for the exceptional service. Hope to see you guys in the near future.
