Jordan / Yau Ma Tei
The Jordan and Yau Ma Tei neighbourhood is where you will find some of the more authentic areas of Hong Kong. Not as glamourous or busy as its neighbours Mong Kok to the north or Tsim Sha Tsui to the south, Yau Ma Tei is often mistakenly overlooked by visitors on their trips to Hong Kong. Exploring parts of this area makes you feel like you’ve been transported back in time. A large part of the neighbourhood draws from the rich history of Temple Street, stretching from Jordan to Yau Ma Tei, where a mix of dai pai dongs (outdoor restaurants), market stalls, fortune tellers and old karaoke bars bring out the history and culture of the area. The neighbourhood is a showcase of diversity – different ethnicities, cultures, and a mix of old and new.

The size of the room was ok, the cleanliness of the room was good, the only complaint was the room was not sound proof, I could hear the toilet flushed from next room. The guys in the concierge were not so friendly too. No more handy phone provided.

Having been in many similar 4* Hong Kong hotels, I now find the Prudential to be among the better choices. The room is very spacious indeed and the location is among the best above the MTR, and the airport bus stops right at the doorstep. Service is good and house-keeping also

Hotel room was clean, shower is good with consistent hot water. There was also a rain shower and a large bath rail which I found very helpful. Shampoo and shower gel is supplied. Towels could be larger and the shower screen could also be larger or a shower curtain could be

Take the A21. you can buy tickets at airport close to bus stop. We got an octopus card as we used buses to go everywhere. you can get a card in airport. Then check the bus route for which stop to get off. prudential hotel is no11 and inside buses it shows clearly which stop is next. It's really easy and took about 45 mins. On return to airport the bus stop is a short walk on the opposite side to get the A21 again. octopus cards can be topped up lots of places, including 7-11 stores that are plentiful in Hong Kong. on return to airport, if you have credit, it will be refunded at a dedicated desk for return of the card. took 5 mins and desk was not far from terminal. just ask around. enjoy your trip.
