Probably the best hotel I have ever been to! Emily at the front desk was super nice and offered us to use the spa even after checking out because we had a late flight. Thanks for everything. Wellness area on B3 was also super luxurious and clean.

Centrally located in Tsing Sha Tsui shopping district, the convenient location is really unbeatable right above DONKI which you can shop and grab a food even in midnight.
When we first stepped inside the hotel, it gave us a relaxing atmosphere which is completely different from outside. We were greeted and welcomed warmly by staff Patrick Tang. While our check in process is very efficient as the front desk staff Mark Leung is really helpful.
Our room door was sealed by a sticker mentioning sanitization had been done. It was a touching point that made us feel safe and worry-free to stay there during covid time.
We have booked the SPA suite and it is highly above our expectation. It really gave us a WOW feeling after we had opened the door. How spacious it is!!! The jacuzzi is so large that there are still lots of space when two people dipping inside. Bath salt is provided and there are even two floating pillows.
Nonetheless, there is a steam room in the suite with a body brush provided. With several types of massage shower heads, nice smell toilet amenities, this suite really gave us a relaxing experience especially during the pandemic period that spa rooms were all closed.
The housekeepers are also very friendly. We have called twice for the ice bucket refilled and requested for extra towels and bathrobes, they also delivered efficiently.
Although the swimming pool was closed because of government’s covid restriction, there is an entertainment floor which let us have some fun. There are several game rooms not only for kids, but also for the grown ups. The staff there gave us a tour and explained the rooms for us. There is a private cinema that we can choose a movie to watch. The movies were very up-to-date and the audio effect of the cinema is awesome! The game in the VR game room is fun too. Cinema, VR, Switch and Karaoke are charged at a very reasonable price while other games are free of charge.
The buffet dining experience for both dinner and breakfast were also very nice.

Thanks The Mira for giving us such a great time, especially appreciate for all those warm small touches.
Special thanks for all the staff there, especially Patrick and Mark who really made us feel welcoming and be at home.

We booked one night stay over the hotel website including a lot of extras.....From the time of check-in to check out, they committed to the offer, by the best of services, professionally executed to the detail. We were upgraded to a room with a view over Kowloon Park. Fantastic. The room is airy, with all the modern conforms great bathroom, with bathtub and separate shower. Including a nice bottle of white wine to celebrate a special occasion offered by the hotel. We had afternoon tea at their lobby cafe. The food Tibbits, coffee, and tea all of the exceptional quality all complemented by great service from all the staff. In the evening we booked the cinema on the Mirathon floor. A room with four leather chairs of the best quality, reclinable, watching a movie of our choice with an awesome sound system. A real deal. The following morning we loved their breakfast buffet on the executive floor. Well presented to the finest detail, in good quality and again accompanied by excellent service. Enjoying the late check-out benefit, we got one of the fastest checks out in the most pleasant manner. Overall we had a super experience, which we will not forget. Highly recommended.

We did enjoyed our stay at the hotel despite the current Coronavirus situation from Mainland China. Hotel staff is very professional however we did feel a bit let down with the hygiene practice as the room was not very well cleaned. the toilet roll holder is rusty and stained if you flip up the cover and the run off stain from the side of toilet bowl from the second toilet (we stayed in a suite). I am no hotel inspector but these are basic hygiene that need to be adhered I reckon. Front office, concierge staff were great and distribute out mask and encourage everyone to use sanitiser etc.
It is difficult to post this review as we did enjoyed our stay, just needed the extra attention to the cleanliness. :)

I wrote this review after staying at The Mira back in November but have only just remembered to place it live now.

The Mira is very nicely situated hotel in the heart of Kawloon. It takes about 30 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport by Uber or Taxi, and maybe slightly more via train due to having to change stations once you get into Hong Kong.

Hotel check-in was fairly swift with no complaints. The rooms are modern in design and the room I had overlooked Nathan road which houses a ton of shops selling every brand you can imagine.

The bathroom and shower are kept nice and clean with good pressure, albeit it is quite odd to have the sink outside the bathroom and only something I have experienced before in Mainland China.

The hotel facilities are top notch. The indoor pool is beautifully designed with a nice wet room & sauna off to the side, along with a nice spa. There are multiple restaurant options with a sports bar that shows Premier League and serves decent bar food.
If you want to do a spot of shopping, then you are in one of the best places in the world. There are many markets just a stone’s throw away, you have the beautifully lit neon signs, and there are a bunch of restaurants and bars down near Heart Ave.

The only downside to this hotel is that during the protests it is essentially ground zero. Almost each time the protests flare up then the roads to this hotel become filled with people and with the debris the next day it can make getting to and from the hotel difficult. On the flip side this has brought the price per night down considerably.

I would stay at the Mira Hotel again if I were Kawloon side of Hong Kong.

The room is good. There is independent shower and bath tub that you can clean your body before having a bath. With the transparent glass in the bathroom, you can watch TV and take a bath at the same time.
The play rooms on 17/F are very suitable for young kids (primary schools children). There are different kinds of games. Luckily, there are not many people. We did not need to wait to play.
The dining credit can be used after 20% off in the restaurants. The food in the Chinese restaurant is good.
Just one thing, the use of individually wrapped toiletries is not environmentally friendly .
Overall, it is a nice staycation.

Went to Mira for an overnight staycation this April. The package included the buffet lunch at Yamm's, a 3 course dinner and buffet breakfast the next day.

We got upgraded to a park facing room though it was on the 7th floor so we were just able to see some of the Kowloon Park. The park view also meant that we would be facing Nathan Road the busiest road in Kowloon. Luckily the windows were double-glazed so basically we did not hear any noise from the outside. The room was ok spacious, as it had a bathtub, as well as a separate shower area. The downside was the wash basin had to move to the outside, which was not very convenient.

The service was not bad, though there was no turn-down service in the evening. What it really shined was the lunch buffet at Yamm's. They had oysters, abalone, peking duck, as well as the usual sushimi and seafood. The in-room dinner was more like a snack but it was ok given we were very full after the lunch buffet. What disappointed was the breakfast next day at Yamm. It was such a contrast to the buffet lunch the day before. The choice was really limited as a buffet and the egg station was so slow and there has always been a long queue.

Got to mention about the swimming pool as well. It has a heated indoor pool with a jacuzzi. Both pools were large but I never understood why the pool's depth ranged from 1.5m to 2.8m, did the designer think people really needed to dive? This was definitely a put off for those that could not swim and were not tall enough to touch the ground.

Anyway besides the breakfast and the pool, everything else was above expectation and for this package price I surely would not complain.

Stayed at The Mira recently for one night and was warmly greeted by Kevin at the front desk. He gave me option for the room to be nearer to the lift or somewhere further away that had a view. It was nice to be asked as hotels I've stayed in the past will just allocate any room to you without asking. The decor in the room was nice and it was very clean without any smell in the room (sometimes you can smell the cleaning solutions as soon as you walk in which sometimes isn't very pleasant).
I also asked if they had a phone charger which they didn't have but concierge happily charged it for me. Bed was super comfortable and TV had a variety of channels to choose from.
I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone for staycation or in future anyone coming to HK for a holiday.

The Mira Hotel has a great location which is in Tsim Sha Tsui and you could access to many other shopping mall, tourist attractions and MTR. The facilities at hotel and upkeep is fine, the cleanliness is up to standard at this time.

The hotel is running attractive staycation package at HK$1,300+ that comes with HK$600 dining credit at the time I booked. This price should be COVID special and you would never be able to come across it at this category 5, design hotel and Marriott Bonvoy participating property.

If you are a pop music lover, you should book into studio room or other category with courtyard view. The Vibes, “the most electrifying open-air lounge in Hong Kong”, it is right in the courtyard. If not, you should consider City Room which should face the other side. One more tip, they do not upgrade your room based on member status, at least for the level of Titanium and book through hotel website as this may subject to availability, at least for my case.

Dear Vincent H, Thank you for choosing to stay at The Mira Hong Kong for staycation and for sharing your experience with us. Delighted to hear that you found our location great. Our hotel's prime location is certainly a big advantage for us as we are conveniently located in the city center where different types of entertainment, dining and shopping options are all within reach. Our hidden gem on 5/F courtyard terrace – Vibes is an exclusive haven in the city and the most electrifying open-air lounge in Hong Kong, offering wide selections of wines, cocktails, shisha and original bar bites. As a Design Hotels participating hotel, we offer slightly different benefits from other Marriott brands but we should certainly extend all the membership privileges you are entitled to. We booked the Terrace Room Speciality Suite via the telephone booking directly with the hotel along with the Surprise Sweet and Bubbly Surprise package and this was done in the week of our staycation last week of Oct '20. The booking and check-in process was quite smooth, and the surprise was in the room as planned! It was my husband's birthday and we'd decided to do a staycation to celebrate.

The terrace attached to the room was 200sqft as advertised and it was perfect to relax and just hang out in a bigger space outside of just the room. I especially loved the fact that they had converted the 17th floor rooms into an 'activity center' given the recent low occupancy due to Covid and made the staycation a lot more interesting. We watched a movie in the private movie theatre experience with surround sound speakers and played a few quick arcade games in the mini activity center that they had designed. This is a great use of space and very creatively executed. It was also great that the hotel spa was open and available (though we had made the reservation in advance of checking in, so suggest doing that to ensure you get a confirmed slot).

My suggestions for improvement for the hotel would be: 1) The soundproofing in the rooms is really poor. We could hear the music playing in the platinum suite right next to our room and while we can all understand the desire to party on a saturday night, it certainly didn't make for a good night's sleep. One would expect better design and sound proofing for a 5 star hotel esp. when booking a suite room. 2) The description of the room suggested 2 40" TVs, and a guest bathroom attached to the terrace but that didn't exist which felt weird. 3) The plumbing in the shower was not working as intended and the water didn't drain out of the shower as it should've which felt substandard.

Overall we had a great stay but would suggest the hotel to focus on some attention to detail for the soundproofing and plumbing for a happier guest experience!
