We loved our 5 night stay at the modern and contemporary Cordis hotel located in the heart of Hong Kong's Mongkok district. It opened in 2004 and is smack-dab in the middle of the action (ie, eating and shopping) on the Kowloon peninsula. If you've never heard of the Mongkok district, it was rated by the Guinness Book of World Records as the busiest district in the entire world with a population density of 340,000 people/square mile! When I first saw the skyscraper hotel here, my mind was thinking of what an engineering marvel it would have been to witness the construction of this hotel and the interconnected and large Langham Place shopping complex in super-busy and super-congested Mongkok!
Anyway, as far as the accommodations and service, it was first class and great. We paid $220 USD all-in per night (which included breakfast which was great and which I have already reviewed separately) but this place can easily go for $400 USD per night depending on time of year and what's happening in Hong Kong. We got a quick taste of their nice service upon check-in as you do so with a cold and refreshing towel handed to you and that was a first for us, and that touch can be very handy in Hong Kong's climate. Our standard room was on the 30th floor and we enjoyed a quite scenic view of Kowloon. The room was not particularly spacious but it was adequate and is typical unless you want to pay up. The bathroom is uniquely separated from the bed area by a clear glass wall with a window shade used for privacy, if desired lol. The beds and pillows were comfortable and very nice. There are unique, artsy, and entertaining sculptures located throughout the hotel. The elevators were super-fast and smooth. The customer service was excellent. We had a modest bathroom cleanliness complaint on the first night. I brought it to the attention of the lady hotel manager who was very empathetic and later had it addressed. The next thing, we surprisingly find a delightful and delicious fresh fruit tray in our room for each of our remaining 4 nights, and I confirmed with the staff that it was basically a hotel token of apology. Wow.
Besides the accommodations and service, one big plus of the hotel is that it is directly connected to the newish and large Langham Place shopping complex across Shanghai St. There are tons of both classy and casual shops and eateries there, and the Mongkok MTR station is also co-located in the basement level of the complex. So if you use the MTR from anywhere in Hong Kong, you can be back to your hotel room without ever stepping outside. The other big plus for the Cordis is you are just steps away from all the markets, eateries, main artery Nathan Road shops and restaurants, and people watching in Mongkok. Overall, we had a great stay, and we would not hesitate to stay again at the Cordis!

On our arrival, we were given early checkin and upgraded to One Bedroom Executive Suite with Kitchen. The room is very large in size and the decoration is new and clean which we feel stressless when we staying there. We then have the tea time and happy hour at the lounge. The staff there are very nice and attentive which give us a very relaxing moment.
Due to government just allow to restaurants to operate till 9pm, all the restaurants are full and so we ordered the in room dinning. We ordered the food in advance and the staff send to our room on time. Although the food are a little pricey, the taste are good.
The only drawback which not related to this hotel was our room surrounded by a group of youngsters celebrating birthday. I cannot sleep till 4am due to the noise surrounding our room. I complained 2 times to CS and they did their job to warn them but they still keep chatting so loud till 3 to 4am. Very disappointed and angry with HK youngsters nowaday with their selfish act which never considering our people's feeling.
Next day, we have breakfast buffet at "The place" with good spread of food selection and the taste is good.
After the speedy checkout, we have our lunch at Michelin 3 star restaurant "Ming Court". We ordered the set menu and the taste is wonderful.
In summary, 1) The staff in hotel and restaurant are so nice and attentive. 2) The facilities are under very good maintenance. 3) The food in hotel and restaurants are pricey but the taste are good. 4) This staycation package is worth to take as I just spend around HK$2K to have a large room to stay, a bottle of white wine, tea time, happy hour, dinner, breakfast and lunch.
I highly recommand those who are going to order the staycation package to make reservation with restaurants as early as they can to avoid missing the chance to have the tasty lunch or dinner.

Arrived in HK for work during the worst time possible due to Covid. Away from home (Singapore) with no visibility of when I'd be able to travel back. Needless to say, the accommodation I chose had to be top notch to keep my spirits up, and the Cordis definitely did not disappoint.
I would say I'm pretty well travelled for work and leisure, and what really stood out for me was the service. The team were accommodating my every need wherever they could and when I got home from work everyday, the housekeeping / turn-down service would be done to an exceptionally perfect level I really couldn't ask for more.
I booked a studio room for 6 months, and I'm entering my 4th month with them. I'm so pleased that I booked a suite with them for when my wife plans to join me towards the end of the year, and I'm really looking forward to the new experience.
I won't go on about the rest of the 5-star facilities or the Cordis' location next to a premium mall and connected so conveniently to the MTR, because you can read them from other reviews, but I was impressed enough with the studio room that I took a few photos of my own to prove that the room truly does look like what the hotel promises on their website.
The studios stand out for the panoramic views due to its positioning as the 'corner of the oval shape' building, with partial harbour views greeting me every morning and evening (picture here too). The bathroom is also really spacious by HK standards, and something under-appreciated by reviewers.
Thanks to Nick, Jodie and the rest of the Cordis service team for making my stay in Hong Kong that much brighter and cheerier despite times being excruciatingly tough for the hotel industry. A well deserved 5 stars out of 5.

What can I say about this hotel, well 1st thing is it is amazing and up with some of the best hotels I’ve stayed in, if you don’t want to read all my review then just read this “stay here and you will not be disappointed” For the long review: Amassing hotel, clean, safe, lift that looks out the building is something to see when your on the 37th floor like we were, our view over the harbour from our room was amazing, the room was well stocked, house keeping were great, and room service was super hot and super tasty! The executive lounge is great and Mark was a massive help to us planning our trip around Hong Kong, what a credit to your hotel this member if staff is, just brilliant. The lounge is great for a good selection of drinks, my only slight moan would be get in there early if you want some food at night, it goes very quick and they are not quick to replace. We are in the Ming court restaurant on New Year’s Eve and the food was stunning along with the service, no wonder it has a Michelin star. The pool and gym and very good and the spa gets busy so book in advance, the Holel has amazing location next to the shopping centre which has everything, shops, food McDonald’s and even and M&S supermarket (if your missing things from home), the metro is also below the shopping mall, (get yourself a octopus card from the hotel, well worth it and what ever you don’t spend, you can get refunded) all of the street markets are within 5 min walk of the hotel and you can grab yourself a bargain compared to prices in the Uk, (trainers, electronics etc). The free WiFi from the hotel is a great touch for when your wondering around the city, you can just keep it for your whole stay and return it when you check out, you get 1gb a day so it’s plenty. I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough and will be the only hotel I stay in when I revisit Hong Kong again.

We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in the One Bedroom Suite with Kitchen that exceeded our expectations. The utmost concern of our stay in hotels is cleanliness. The bathroom, bed linens and room amenities were clean and complete. The kitchen was well-equipped with necessary utensils and appliances. The food of dine-in room service was well-presented with hot and delicious food. We enjoyed a relax moment with nice snacks and canapes in the Club Lounge. The carpark was convenient and eadily accessible. All hotel staff who served us were polite, sincere and attentive. Cordis is in a great location that we can reach various shops and restaurants just downstairs.

The sales department staffs were very helpful and accepted my last minute booking. From the moment when I arrived at Hong Kong airport, the duty manager monitored my trip and sent me a text to introduce himself and to welcome me, which made me feel that I was very well taken care of. I ordered a standard room, but, out of my expectation, the sales director upgraded me to a studio room. The duty manager personally welcomed me at the hotel entrance and showed me to the room; the check-in process is simple and quick. During my stay there, the housekeeping and bell staffs were very friendly and were patient to all my questions; the front desk staffs showed their professional attitude too. The hotel location is the best of the best; easy access to all amenities. The room are spacious, tastefully decorated and furnished; clean and fresh.

I stayed in the Cordis Hotel for two weeks from 29 March 2020. Needless to say, the location was excellent as it was located in the heart of Mong Kong directly connected with the subway station as well as a grand shopping mall with lots of restaurants. That said, I almost took every meals in the hotel restaurants. As the guest, I enjoyed 30% off discount. The Chinese restaurant, Ming Count, was a Michelin star one. It was affordable thanks to the discount. The food was beautiful and tasty. The tea set in the Alibi restaurant was also beautifully presented. However, the Place was my favourite restaurant. I took breakfast every morning and dinner in many nights. The staff was very nice. They recognised and greeted my family every time we entered the restaurant. We appreciated it that we were allowed to order the la carte menu for dinner rather than the buffet but still enjoy the free flow of wine with an extra of $38 only. The food especially the grilled ones was excellent. I really loved this hotel. The staff particularly those in the Place made me feel like home. I hope I will go back and stay in the hotel again very soon.

We booked the Cordis on the recommendation of our Travel Agent (Trailfinders) and were not disappointed. Hong Kong was to be the first stop on a ten-week world trip, visiting 12 different countries, and so it was important to get off to a good start.
Cordis Lanham Place provided that good start, though Hong Kong itself proved to be a disappointment. The hotel is not situated in the best of locations, but is only 5 minutes walk from Mongkok Metro station, making it easy to get to other places.
The main, and possibly only, benefit of the hotel's location is the adjacent Langham Mall, with 13 levels full of shops, bars and restaurants, many of which I will review separately. There is a bridge/covered walkway from the hotel directly into the Mall and can be accessed from the first level, near to the main reception area.
Our room was reasonable spacious and the bed was very comfortable. There was free wifi in the room, a large safe, mini bar, hairdryer and iron/ironing board. The one disappointment with our room was the shower

It was a staycation celebration for my upcoming birthday and i must say it was super impressive.
First of all, the staff was very welcoming. I believe his name was Hess, at front desk, very patiently telling me where everything was and even escort me to my room. Hess was also very polite and detailed minded.
Secondly the upgraded room was extremely nice. It has the best full size kitchen I ever seen in a hotel. The room decoration was harmonized and modern. The bed was super comfortable, and the electric blinds puts me right to sleep, without wanting to wake up.
Thirdly in general the service was excellent. The IT staff helped me to set up my Nintendo Switch and a room service lady also greeted and treated me with a birthday cake and Champagne.
I see no reason why I wouldn't come back to this hotel again, and I will recommend this hotel to all my friends who looked for a convenient location within Mongkok during their visits in Hong Kong.

I simply had to write a review following my booking of a quarantine stay here at the Cordis. I'm currently relaxing in a deluxe room following my first night, as I was offered a free upgrade given that my choice of a larger studio room was unavailable for my dates, and space was a priority for me.
The amenities have been very well stocked following my request, as I won't be able to see anyone for two weeks through self-isolation, and the staff stayed in contact with me through WhatsApp during the entire journey from LHR to HKG, with prompt responses and understanding during the arduous 12-hour stint at the airport here.
Niki was amazing when handling my booking, and Henry expedited check-in for me within my room. Many thanks for this excellent service during a difficult time, and I am certain I picked the correct hotel. Can't recommend them enough.

Check in and check out at the 'Lobby' floor, Which is on the 4th floor. The street level Ground floor is where the taxi drop off and pick up. They have Concierge counter and helpers at ground floor, ...you can borrow an umbella from the Concierge if needed.
There are more places to choose from in the Hong Kong area.
