We booked a stay of two at Grand Hyatt for our son who turned on year old. We took advantage of the Escape 24 offer that includes HKD 1000 dining credit. We informed the hotel about the birthday and they kindly provided us a warm welcome with surprise room decoration and also little toys for our two kids, also children amenities like baby shampoo, toothbrush etc.

The bed is very big and comfortable and our room has the amazing view of Victoria Harbour. During this covid period, restaurants choice are limited which is fully understandable, but the quality of food is very good. We ordered room dining services with burger and beef noodles which were both delicious. Hotel is also close to other eateries like Renaissance Harbour View Hotel if you want more options. We travelled like a local and took a ferry to Tst, the walk to the pier is within 5 mins.

Not to forget to mention the pool and playground. They have a children pool which was perfect for us. We visited there twice during our stay and even my one year old enjoyed it. The playground is big as well, perfect for kids to run around and consume some of their energies

One drawback is the constructions around which may be a bit noisy and you may need to walk through them on your way to the pier. But given other pluses, this doesn’t bother us too much.

This hotel was clearly slammed. They had a lot of guests and families in this Easter weekend and it was especially busy after the government announced the pools can be opened. They did an amazing job of giving us the holiday we needed despite being unbelievably busy! They gave us all 5 star service and the staff all smiled through this intense Easter weekend.
We brought our 11 month old baby with us and they prepared a pack n play cot and other baby amenities like a bathtub, shampoo and bath bubbles. I was expecting something a bit sturdier than the pack and play but in the end, it worked out really well and she slept soundly.
We booked the club lounge and they were extremely accommodating, kind and welcoming.
Bella called us before our stay to reconfirm a few things and helped us with some arrangements. I really appreciated her help. During our check-in, Crystal was an absolute star and really helped us settle in. The staff at the Grand Club were top notch. Due to the G.C. room being full, we were unable to dine up on the top floor so they moved some guests down to the 5th Floor Chief Executive room for Club Lounge cocktails. Jon was down there and he was super fun, friendly and accommodating. During my holidays, I always want to have a dirty martini and with a baby, it's not always easy to access! He knew I wanted one and he had one arranged for me. That was something completely unexpected and I am grateful for thinking about how to make my stay that extra bit better.
For the breakfast, they had dim sum and one of my faves is the egg custard buns. I noticed them and asked Franco if they 'll have it on the next morning. He said he'd ask the chef and the following morning, he came right up to me with a plate of those yummy custard buns. I'm really in awe with how much effort the staff there really put in to making our stay so wonderful.

The pool was the main draw for our stay. We wanted some family time by the pool. Day one, the pool was already fully booked. Even though it was a tad bit annoying to have to wait for a lounger, I was actually quite happy to know we would get a spot at some point. We took our baby to their awesome playground and within 30 minutes, we were called to a table and chairs. It was tiny and I asked the staff for a lounger when available. They were right on it and as soon as one was free, they arranged it for us.
Day two and the queue for the pool was very long. The guests all waited for about 30 minutes to get in but the wait was smooth and very well organised.

We've stayed in this hotel many times like for our wedding, anniversaries and during our baby shower and while all was really special and magical, I think this was probably one of our best stays.

We had a wonderful and unforgettable staycation, credit to a great team of unsung heroes behind the scene to make sure our stay was flawless. Sherman is the reason why I decided to book a Club room, his introduction to the Club benefits and restaurant recommendation was on point. Bella helped us with our check in and check out efficiently. We loved our room 3116, literally 30 seconds away from the Grand Club! Also, every single host at the Grand Club greeted and treated us with so much love and care - shout out to Crystal, Jon, Bella, Scott, Wing and Maggie! Kudos to the housekeeping team, F&B reservation centre, all the chefs who worked very hard to pull together every afternoon tea and happy hour spreads.

We'd also like to thank Crystal Li and our server Kit from One Harbour Road for arranging the vegan menu for us, we enjoyed every course and every minute. Rio from the gym helped us navigate all the wellness offerings - gym, spa and pool, truly appreciated!

Regarding the room design, would be great if there is a sofa that can fit two people. The dining table is so large it feels disconnected with the overall room aesthetic. Room amenity is amazing, showering and bathing with the harbour view is a wonderful wonderful experience!

We are truly pampered (and spoiled) in the past 24 hours, we look forward to returning to your property and greet the team very soon.

After some bad experiences of HK staycation, I have to say it was a very unexpected surprise from Grand Hyatt!
From the very beginning enquiries before check in to the whole staying period, all staffs are very professional, patience and helpful! Jonathan Wong, Marco from reception did their jobs excellent! Made sure what I need to know and checked up what went wrong. Other staffs I forgot to ask or remember their names : Housekeeping ran all the way to Steakhouse looked for me so that double check how to arrange the room set up and made sure everything well taking care while I can enjoy my dinner. Staffs from steakhouse arranged good for seating, serving the best air and the food is so delicious! Breakfast buffet has so much choices and all of them served very well. They made sure you have the food which placed in order not be forgotten. Dirty plates took away quick right after you finished. Every staffs are very polite and warm welcoming us and so did to other guests. You can see they communicated with each other and worked as a team which is very important.I have mentioned to some other hotels before: in COVID this difficult period, everybody wears masks. It is difficult to show your smile but guests can feel your attitude and see your eyes to feel your services. Grand Hyatt did it very good. You can feel extremely happy and satisfied because they really show they care! Daniel from Tiffin even called me after I checked out to find out what happened about the miscommunication over a Hightea set take away. His sincere really surprised me and definitely I will come back Tiffin for him!
Room is in high floor 28/F and the harbour view room is stunning! Earth tone color and trendy design made the room very comfortable and modern. From the room, food and the service I have no more words but just have to say : hats off, thumbs up! And I will definitely come back!

The 24 hours package with dinner and breakfast included has the best value of money.
Special thanks to Henry from Front Desk who went extra miles to have made our stay so memorable and I just felt like I am the VIP.
The Grissini dinner delivery by Tammy was smooth and the food was absolutely delicious. We love the long crispy bread, it was probably the best bread we have had.
And I must mention couple more names of your staff who were so kind during my stay: Claudia and Christine from Guest service team, Kelvin who delivers the in room dining meal and the housekeeping team were so efficient on the delivery of every single requests that i made through the Guest service team.
It was an amazing stay at the Grand Hyatt, no disappointment, simply delightful to stay and will be back.

We stayed for 6 nights and we were impressed by the room design and the excellent view we had. We were very impressed by the attentiveness of the staff - when we walked in to check-in, two staff rushed out to get our luggage and led us to the counter; when we were at the gym (the gym was well equipped), the staff gave us advice without being asked; the room was well cleaned and all things were refilled quickly and even our clothing left lying around were folded. The jazz bar was lovely too! The location of the hotel is great except that you need to walk a bit to the Wan Chai station (but no big deal really)

Intially came to do a 2 day staycation and decided to extend for an extra day, as time was flying and just felt really well.
The team at GH and the Club Lounge is always extremely welcoming and caring and taking so good care of everything. Once I step into the hotel I have no need to step out again and just enjoy the facilities.
Almost all restaurants & outlets were in full operation and swimming pool was open as well, which just made for a wonderful stay.
Some minor adjustment due to the current situation but in no way interfering with anything, yet everything is kept very hygienic and feels safe.
Always happy to be there and looking forward to many more stays.
To me it always speaks volumes when the team/staff stay working with the same Hotel for many many years, as it speaks for the hotel itself and just feels extremely well and nice to see familiar faces every time and gives me the feeling of a home away from home ;)

Given the convenient location in the centre of Hong Kong we were surprised by the feeling of calm and space in Grand Hyatt as well as by kindness and thoughtfulness of its staff. When we were caught by a storm while enjoying our drinks in the pool bar, staff brought us large towels to keep ourself dry and warm. Their service was not suspended and not even slowed down despite heavy rain and thunders. Unfortunately, we did not have a chance to enjoy the pool itself, as it was very crowded with families with small children during our stay. It was easy to book a tennis court but to our surprise the final charge was a double to what we were told. We really enjoyed buffet breakfast and booking system with three seatings that prevented overcrowding. Our room was spacious, well designed and comfortable. Gym was very well equipped, spacious, open from 6:30 am to 10 pm. Grissini restaurant was fully booked during our stay (it felt easier to book a room in GH than to book a table to Grissini), but kind staff managed to find 90 minutes window for a dinner on our second day. Last, but not least, we were very impressed by concierge, their kindness and professional manners during our check in as well as check out. Overall, our stay in GH was a very memorable experience, we would highly recommend it.

First 2 nights were great , second 2 nights it was a public holiday and hotel was over capacity . Allowed you only to have 1.5 hours slot at the pool and you need you book in advance and it was very crowded not safe at all the pool area. We were paying for a suite and in these days they forced us to eat breakfast in the lounge due to the crowd , which had a very limited selection. Never go there in public holiday

The Grand Hyatt is the perfect staycation choice with plush rooms, a great choice of restaurants, attractive promotions, thoughtful service and a convenient location. The hotel has also taken remarkable precautions to ensure hygiene and guest safety during the COVID-19 pandemic. Special credits for allowing us to combine various promotions such as the use of F&B credits and other discounts (New World Club discounts etc.) at the restaurants.
Our only disappointment was that the in-room dining menu was not as extensive as we expected and the pool area was very crowded with a lot of non-resident guests. However, when we raised these issues to the hotel staff they followed up with it promptly.

I am sure I have seen babies there though I don’t have one myself. I believe lounge is open all day. Food hours are limited to afternoon and early evening. (And breakfast of course).

"The closest hotel gate to the exhibition needs any elevator. You will need to hand carry the luggage over the stairs. "
