Visited this Le Meridien after they completed a long waited renovation and multiple delays. The rooms are modern and well equipped with updated technology. I am personally not a fan of touch controls, not feeling buttons is not comfortable. To be honest, most of the Le Meridien design language is lost. The old design shouts Le Meridien in different ways while the new design is dull (not that it’s not good).
One major let down is the bathroom of the previously Premier Corner room, now called Discovery corner room. The bathtub was overlooking the ocean and hillside. Now it is largely covered by marble walls with a strangely positioned locked window at the top. The view bath is totally blocked as you won’t stand to soak a bath right? The bathtub is also weirdly shallow, and short. You’ll have to be as slender as a super model, as short as a kid to deep soak in it.
One good touch is that they care about the environment, removed all plastic bottles and replaced with drinking water tap.
Breakfast is solid and their signature spicy crab omelette is still here! I wish their bistro can offer more choices in addition to generic dishes. Touch up the menu with more signature dishes in different European countries/ French will be much better.
Service is great and staff members are friendly. Nothing much to ask for in a city/ business oriented hotel.

Wanna stay in this new renovated and environment friendly hotel since last year. Our oceanside view room with a little corner window which is brighten with plenty of sunlight, comfy bedding and we love the layout of bathroom so much. We arrived the hotel in the late afternoon after gathering with friends. The hotel lobby is pretty decent with white marble designed, the digital screen displaying the visual arts is modern and bring us a great visual enjoyment.
Sandy was so friendly and greeted us at the reception for check-in. She stated in details the hotel facilities and dining options to make us can’t wait to try it all. Thanks for the lovely room arrangement.
We had an enjoyable time to dine in the hotel restaurants. The staff were responsive and service-minded at all time. Thanks Toni for making sure my MB points to be earned with my lunch at Nam Fong. Michael was so sophisticated and offered both of us the sweet soup as well.
Hotel Concierge John introduced us to the hotel location and recommended where to walk around the hotel surroundings and truly appreciated his suggestions for having a lovely moment outside the grass after breakfast. By any chance, we would definitely come back again!

I've been staying at Le Meridien Cyberport pretty regularly ever since their most recent renovations. In my opinion, this hotel has the perfect balance of comfort, luxury and value in Hong Kong. The location is away from the downtown areas but if you're in town to visit friends/family/relatives like for me then this ends up being a plus, and if you need access to Central, there is an hourly shuttle bus.
For starters, the hotel has both King and 2-Twin rooms. The twins are larger than single beds (about 4 feet wide) so are a good option for 3 people stays if a roll out bed isn't the comfort you're looking for. Each room has 'smarts' where the lights and blinds (including blackout blinds) can be controlled from the side of your bed. Some rooms have a bathroom with a large electrochromic window into the room (that can be made translucent or opaque, depending on if you prefer extra light or privacy).
I really appreciate that the hotel provides a large number of Platinum/Titanium/Ambassador Elite benefits, including late checkout, and a wonderful Elite breakfast, an 'all you can eat' served in their Southside restaurant, and features very good Western and Cantonese staples, from congee, dim sum and fish balls to omelets, salad and pastries. Even on long stays, I found the selection to be excellent; and if that isn't enough, some special treats are served on some days (for example, pistacho portuguese egg tarts!), including some brought out table-to-table by their chefs. And if that isn't enough, the hotel has a few (paid) Dining options that are very good - special shout out to Nam Fong for their creative and high quality dinner entrees.
I love that the staff are very accommodating with requests. For example, I drink a lot of tea, and while the room comes with a kettle and coffee/tea is restocked daily, the team was happy to overstock our room with a larger variety of tea. I really also appreciated the flexibility of the housekeeping team; some days I needed to be back in my room between lunch and dinner, and the team was happy to make up my room around my availability. As well, I'm happy to say that in the unlikely event of rough edges (which after so many long stays, I've had a chance to see ups and downs) the staff handled the downs very well.
In general, every time I stay here, I end up really appreciating the tremendous effort the team at the hotel have put towards both the hard product and soft product. While much of Hong Kong is not generally known for warm hospitality, Le Meridien Cyberport has to be the one exception in the most positive way, where most staff at every level and with every interaction are genuine, sincere, and friendly. I'm sure much of this is due to the hard work the leadership team puts into the hotel; on most days you'll see the GM and his leadership team around the hotel, be it the lobby, restaurants, or guest room hallways. This means that every time we're back we see many of the same friendly faces, which we definitely appreciated.

I had a fabulous Pawcation with 2 of my cats in December, the hotel arranged all the necessities for my cats in advance. I did not need to care what I needed to bring as they had nailed it all.
The service was excellent as well, the Concierge team welcomed me and assisted me with the luggage, and the girls from the reception (Linsa, Sandy and Nicole) took care of all the check in arrangements.
The room is clean and well-designed. The car park is just steps away and thanks Canny reserved a spot for me.
The F&B team also sent me a tasty birthday cake to the room and the English-speaking gentleman was very pleasant as well.

This is one of those stay that you can truly relax in the room and the overall environment. As an avid global traveler both for business and pleasure, this Marriott property is truly exceptional. The GM Mr. Pierre, has been especially attuned to ensure his guests are having an indelible experience at the property. As a Marriott Titanium member, my room has been upgraded to a nice ocean view room prior to my arrival. And the hotel has been gone through a massive transformation. This is one of the most comfortable room that I have stayed in… across brands.
In this day and age… with extremely competitive hospitality industry, I perceive the La Meridian Hong Kong with Mr. Pierre at the helm to posses exceptional value. If you are someone whom is seeking a perhaps one or two days of sanctuary from you hectic daily grim… this place is for YOU!!!

Our recent stay at Le Meridien for my sister's bridal shower was absolutely fantastic! Mark and Sandy orchestrated an unforgettable experience from start to finish.
Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Mark had arranged a room upgrade for us. The suite was beautifully decorated, spacious, which provided a stunning backdrop for pre-celebration moments, where the golden hour was so impressive.
To add an extra touch of sweetness, Sandy and Owen had thoughtfully arranged a cake for the bridal shower. It was evident that they had gone above and beyond to make this occasion truly special.

It was a horrible wait for the check in. The front desk could not advise the time of getting room at check-in. Asking us to walk around, and would call us if room was available. Wandering in the mall and spent few hundreds in game booths to kill time with kid. After 1 hour, called the hotel,and told would have at least more than another hour wait. When it was around 4:45p.m, I called the hotel agan and told even the cake shop in mall got no cake to order {you could tell how many guests stucked there, and the mall got nothing to visit}. The front desk then offered drinks coupon. We went back to stay in Bistro, and ordered cakes on our own expenses. At around 5:45pm, we finally got the room after waiting again in the lobby. I understand the receptionist, Leo, could not help on the case, as he was not house keeping (He carried smile when we complaiined). But the long wait really dragged our mood down, espcially when the kid asked over 100 times when we could get the room in that 3 hours of wait. The understaff siutation was also in the Bistro, you could see same group of servers in the 2-day stay. Staff got no time to rest, and it would trigger a cycle of bad momentum. I believe the hotel management should look into the understaff matter (as it's just the start of summer peak season) Never ever bad experience!!

It is located at a good location and has amenities around it. Room size is decent and staff is very helpful and can provide tips for local touring/exploring. Just one point that it is not in city centre and it will take some time to get to Hong Kong Central through their shuttle service.

There’s no club lounge when I was there but there was a cocktail bar which could have doubled as a club lounge, don’t know tho. The bar serves free cocktails as per a traditional club lounge between 5.30 to 7.30 pm daily. With some snacks and alcohol, nothing noteworthy though.
