We stayed in the deluxe harbour view room, during the pandemic they prepared disinfectant spray and gel in the room. Breakfast at Patru was amazing, both food and service were exceptional, some of the staffs in Horizon club were helping out in Petru during service hours, particularly Haily, Joyce, and Hayden were very attentive.
They had good selection of alcohol in Horizon Club, one small improvement during happy hour would be to serve regular size food (instead of tiny canapé) and self-serve drinks. Thank you again!

Me and my family had an amazing staycation at the perfectly located, grand Island Shangri-La.
Our rooms with beautiful views overlooking the mid-levels and the Peak were ready when we arrive early in the afternoon and there were fresh fruits, a box of chocolates, chamomile tea awaiting for us. There were also special sanitizing products and wipes for us to use so that you can be extra safe.
The big Chinese painting in the atrium of the lift lobby was breathtaking. Hotel has a gorgeous swimming pool with the Bank of China in the background and a fully equipped gym room for you to spend a nice afternoon. There are also several F&B outlets that serve different cuisines including Chinese, Japanese and international food.
Our late check-out was extended to 4pm which was a great touch. Special shout out to Hayden who has been very professional and courteous throughout our stay and went above and beyond with his service. We would definitely recommend the hotel to our other friends.

To celebrate birthday and anniversary, we have chosen Island Shangri-La with the Island Staycation package coming with breakfast and HKD1000 food and beverage credit. Overall experience was out of expectation. From arrival to departure, we can feel the passion and warm welcome from the hotel.
The newly renovated Horizon Harbour View Room is spacious and cozy. One of my favourite part was the water dispenser above the pantry which is very convenient and environmentally friendly. Also, the mattress was really comfortable and I rarely had a good sleep.
The Horizon Club was a good place to chill and relax with a drink during evening cocktail section. Besides, dinner at Lobster Bar was also good but the live band was suspended due to current situation was a little regret.
I would like to especially thank Irene from Guest Relations Team. She has arranged decorations and amenities regarding my occasion. Not only rooming on arrival, she even sent a handwritten card with our photos on it after my dinner which was very surprised and thoughtful! Thank you again:)

The Island Shangri-la is generally way out of my budget, but I decided to treat myself to a two-night staycation in July 2020 with their fantastic offer, which included a generous dining credit. Totally worth it! I had a truly relaxing and refreshing time, great sleep, wonderful room and view, lovely swimming pool (though actually rather crowded at the weekend, which I wasn’t expecting), wonderful massage in the spa, and absolutely sublime food at both the Lobster Bar & Grill and at Nadaman. The only point of contention was that the free water they provided came in plastic bottles. The waste must be enormous! Why not provide refillable glass bottles or have water fountains around the hotel so I could use my own stainless steel water bottle.
I would particularly like to thank the Guest Relations team, who went out of their way to make my stay so special. Thanks to Nicole, Juna and Cindy for being so kind, helpful and friendly, while still being totally professional and efficient.
I look forward to more special offers so that I can return again one day.

My luxury journey started with Reservations Team...
Although the updated Michelin menu, was not ready, both Ryan & Karen were very helpful and answered all my questions. Especially, Karen who is very attentive and suggested me to hold "Staycation Offer" tentatively, also offered me some special arrangement once she realised that this stay was for my birthday. Moveover, they followed up well with F&B team who sent me the menu once available. After reviewing the menu, I called the Reservations team the next morning again as I decided to change my package to "Michelin Starred Stay" which only costs $2,900+, includes full club access & in-room set dinner. However, I didn't understand why Summer told me that she couldn't change my booking at all, and she even suggested me to change it by myself on the website. I didn't lose the confidence to the team, so I called them up few hours later. Fortunately, Christopher picked up my call this time, and he updated my booking right away, then sent me the payment link for prepayment in just a minute, so efficient.
A day prior to our arrival, we received an email from Private Dining team to reconfirm our menu, also our preferred time slot for dinner delivery, and we could feel everything was already on the track.
On the arrival day, I approached the reception a bit earlier than the normal check-in time, and luckily the room was ready. A very warm welcome by Rain who escorted me to the room, which I truly appreciated the special decoration by the team, they also sent me a chocolate birthday cake afterwards.
Though the room was a bit old furnished, it was very spacious with panoramic Victoria Harbour view, L'Occitane amenities and USB cable with 3 different types of head ready. Besides, there are many choices for semi-buffet breakfast at Restaurant Petrus as well.
This is my most favorite, memorable and enjoyable staycation at all. Heartiest thanks again to everyone's great efforts & assistance for my stay, and they are absolutely the gems of the hotel.
Last but not least, I'd suggest the hotel to install the key card sensor in all guest lifts for guest’s safetyreason, even though CCTV cam are ready in lifts.

Island Shangri-La has just finished renovating some of the rooms on 52/F and they are just extraordinary and there are so many details that are impressive to me. They have highest standard of service.
They have definitely put a lot effort in designing the room in modern ways while matching the overall style of the hotel. Room is spacious and they combine the closet and luggage rack together, so smart and convenient you know? You just unpack your luggage and hang your clothes at the same place. The colors of decor and furniture are warm and comfortable to me.
They have added a long laying bed/sofa or whatever it calls besides the bed which is INSANE! So comfortable!!!!!! It just gives you plenty of spaces to relax.
There is airplay function in the television which is perfect for watching loads of movies during staycations.
This room is simply too nice and I think everyone should go and experience their new room and service at the horizon club.

We checked in for one night on the 24th of October to celebrate my two boys’ birthday. Before arrival, Nicole, the Relations Manager called to make sure all the arrangements were being taken care of. She is extremely patient and helpful. She offered to help decorate the room with balloons and banners and made reservations for birthday cake, our dinner and pool access. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by a very friendly male staff member who offered us drinks and led us to the reception where Irene received us and led us to our room. The room is spacious and clean, with simple yet heartwarming birthday decorations. Irene even helped us to take a picture and had it printed out on a birthday card!!! The whole experience is just wonderful and the staff are extremely friendly and sincere. We went to the pool the next morning. The view is just stunning. Again we were welcomed by very friendly staff, Joe and his team. During this COVID-19 situation, the hotel has been doing a very good job in allowing their guests relax while at the same time not losing guard in maintaining hygiene. The whole experience is truly pleasant and makes us feel welcomed. We will definitely visit again!!!

Heard from my friend that this hotel has undergone some major renovations to their guest rooms, therefore I eventually have a chance to stay in their horizon harbour view room. The room is with decent size overlooking the Victoria harbour. Upon stepping in the room you can feel to only the luxury of it but also the
homey ambience! The room itself sized 44sqm and a long sofa bench tucked next to the windows. You won’t feel packed even there are numbers of furnitures inside the room. As the room is fully renovated including the bathroom which is now separated from the toilet. There is a cubicle with separated shower area and a deep soaking tub. I personally love the mosaic design in the bathtub area very much. Besides, the mini bar area is quite remarkable, it’s so stylish!. The new room has a drinking water machine which I appreciate they are trying to avoid the usage of plastic bottles. There is a trolley in mixologist concept which can be only found in certain ultra-luxury hotels. For me, having visited so many hotels’ rooms and suites in Hong Kong and overseas, I would say this room is one of my favourite so far!
Apart from hardware, I appreciate the services from the team as well. Especially the horizon club staff, they are so attentive and addressing what you need during your stay or even future stays! We enjoyed the breakfast and evening cocktail service so much! It's our first time stay in Island Shangri-La Hong Kong to celebrate my birthday. It made my boy friend and I had an unforgettable sweet memory during my stay. All staffs no matter from which department and teams are cheerful, helpful, considerable, friendly, caring.
A light birthday decoration in my room with very nice window view, hotel amenities, surprise birthday gift such as red wine and birthday cake, Chinese birthday bun also arranged on my breakfast next morning. Hotel front desk staff Mr. "sweet" and Ms "sweet" (too bad I forgot their name), they are very helpful, cheerful and polite during our check-in.
Another very sweet surprise was the pot of Chinese hot tea. It served with my surprised birthday cake.... so cool! The cake are very delicious and not too sweet and not too heavy even it's a cake. Healthy hot Chinese tea with healthy ingredient chestnut cake, real chestnut cream... YUMMY and HEALTHY !
Toiletries item are selected scent brand. Bedding are very comfortable, high quality pillow and quilt, accessible traffic and nice sight seeing location such as Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical
Gardens are 5 mins away from hotel. An ideal hotel for foreigners who want experience a leisure days during stay in busy Hong Kong.
Staffs in Horizon Club Lounge made us impressed. I remember they came with a pair of surprised Chinese Birthday Bun for greeting my birthday. Help us take memorable picture. Nice sea view during our window seat. Very high quality of foods and minor but sweet arrangement are also impressive. Ms Ronsa and other staffs (apologize my bad memory of all their names) very cheerful and helpful.
Ms Rain (Gust Relation team) and other workmates Nicole, Juna, Hailey, Irene, Nana and Daniela, haha I remeber your names this time, also provided very helpful and professional service with very smiley face. Keep up your attitude, we as a customer very appreciate your professional service to make people feeling happy and positive.
Last but not least, during this critical period all over global, I wish everyone stay healthy and fight for Convid-19, keep fighting !!

The receptionist Eric was friendly and helpful. He arranged a nice room and helped us made reservation for our lunch. Another staff, Joyce from Horizon Club, was also nice and friendly, she picked us up to the club and introduced the hotel and club for us while waiting for our lunch at Nadaman.
The Teppanyaki lunch was delicious and entertaining. I would like to go there again later. Advance booking is needed as Teppanyaki session offered limited seats.
The new innovated room is stylish and beautiful. Every facility is clean and new. The room is well prepared and filled with different kinds of amenities. Thank reservation team, reception, housekeeping guest relations team for providing such an extraordinary room for us.
The toilet and bathroom are stylish and high tech, which are also user friendly. All the toiletries are fine and high quality, I was impressed by their tooth brush, mouthwash and bath salt.
The Horizon club providing afternoon tea and evening cocktail, there were a lot of guest and fully occupied. The taste and variety of food provided were ok. The atmosphere of roof garden is good. The refilling speed of food was fast. All staff were busy to serve and they all did well.
After the evening cocktail, turndown service was finished. The housekeeping team was always doing best and having high efficiency.
The breakfast menu in club didn’t offer much choice, the food are in high quality and delicious. The semi buffet breakfast was up to standard.
The Swimming pool is spacious and well managed. The water temperature is well kept and not too cold. I was informed that the lounge chair required advance booking, but it’s ok for me, because i’m not really need it. The changing room is clean and well equipped. I would like to visit again after opening of sauna room.
In conclusion , we had a great memory for this stay. All the staff, food and facilities are in top quality. We definitely would stay in Island Shangri-la again in the future of having any promotion or changes. We may also like to stay in other types of room.

It depends, it can be an international style buffet at Cafe Too or À la cart plus semi buffet at Petrus, you can call the hotel ask for the breakfast arrangement couple of days before you check in.
Personally I prefer the breakfast at Petrus, and it located on the 56/F and you can enjoy the panoramic view of Victoria Harbour while you having your breakfast.

Following the reopening of the pool on 1st April with the maximum 30% of the capacity of using swimming pool .
The opening hour is from 08:00-21:00hrs and each room can book one pool slot in advance on Friday, Saturday , Sunday and PH .
There are 5 times slots session:

13:00-15:00
15:30-17:30
18:00-21:00
You can bring a guest to the club where they serve bite-sized confectionery or savoury appetizer all day.
We kind of use their lounge as business meeting place day long and notify their club staff ahead how my schedule will be. I told their manager in charge to put guest's orders under my tab. And I also brought my friend at the end of day to have a tea.
At the end, I was surprised to see my room bill listed only a few additional charges.
They basically charge a few orders of tea/ coffees, and for my friend, set price for afternoon tea at $400 HKD.
For myself, I nibbled the whole day and ordered at least 4-5 fresh brewed tea/ coffee, all inclusive.
