The hotel staff was excellent, provided us extended checkout due to our ihg membership and later flight. The hotel location was excellent, that is why we chose this hotel for our stay. When we arrived in the hotel room, there are activity books and treats for our children. It was very thoughtful thank you! However the room was noisy at night not because of some ventilation or ceiling in the hotel. Otherwise the stay was perfect.

This stay...was absolutely my wrong choice. I should not choose any cheap package, i.e. $648+ with dim sum breakfast, really made us disappointed.
Though I understand that some of the hotels in Hong Kong accept bookings for quarantine purpose, I don't expect the hotel assigned my room opposite to a quarantined room, and there were total 4 quarantined rooms on the same floor.
I've tried to contact the duty manager through the operator who queried me how I recognized the room opposite to mine was a quarantined room. Simple...there was a table outside the room.
When the duty manager returned my call, I just emphasized my concern, especially I stayed with mom this time, so I insisted on the room change. Finally, the Concierge sent me the new key card for another room which located on higher floor without any quarantined room.
Furthermore, the view outside of our room was extremely horrible, but I don't think the hotel can do anything at all.
For dim sum breakfast, we already realized that the choices will be a bit limited, but we were so surprised to the portion either and we had to reorder at least once or twice for our preferred items.
Nevertheless, I do appreciate the assistance from reservations team - Yan, whose explanation was clear & detailed, also the hygiene pack with masks, sanitizing wipes & gel ready in-room.

Arrived in HK in the night with the family, was welcomed warmly by the Front Manager Edward.
Edward made our check in easy as breeze. Arranged and upgraded a nice room for my family for the long stay as well as offering assistance to set up the required mobile Apps and documents application for HK entry immigration 0+3 policy.
Daily international breakfast buffet has a good spread of nice choices, F&B Floor manager would walk around to check on the meals as well as interacting with the kids that are dining too. Server staff are quick in handing orders.
Housekeeping was great in making up the room and ensuring the necessary needs for the young children to stay.
The hotel staff from the Front Desk, Restaurants, Reservation Team & Housekeeping holds great pride & standard in their line of work that made this stay a pleasurable 1.
Definitely will revisit the hotel again:
1. High level of hospitality service
2. Children friendly of all ages
3. Great service of dining experience and quality of food prepare
4. Location is a great plus, MTR exits, bus stops, shopping malls, local food spots & convenience stalls surrounding the hotel.
Once again, I will like to give a great comment to the Golden Mile Team for making this stay a memorable experience. For Edward, we met again upon check out, his level of customer service as well as hospitality was exceptional.

Hmmmmm What can I say about this Golden Mile hotel in HK?! Dismal and disappointing are the first words that came to mind.
Before airing my grievances, I'd first give good applause to great staff at front desk including Leo and Jackie, and exceptional people at Executive Lounge including Cindy, Sarah & Marcel. They stood out anyhow out of this terribly disappointing experiencing staying at Holiday Inn Golden Mile HK property.
Golden Mile is dated and old, despite the recent renovation. Situated at the prime location of the busy Tsimshatsui area, rooms are offered at a fair price mostly likely due to the chilling Covid19 Pandemic imported from China. I recalled previous stays at the hotel where the lobby is inundated with noises of loud mandarin speakers from the Mainland China and room rate then was way higher. Most rooms in the hotels offer no views, and the best possible view is if you're facing a street between two buildings, or you would simply wave hello to the tenants at the opposite block. Bathtubs don't exist except in the very limited suites, and you would never be upgraded even as a Spire Elite member to them, nor would one want to pay 4 times the price when choices are abound in much better hotels around with great views. Hospitality should, if you're lucky, be the thing you'd appreciate at this hotel. Apart from the great people I mentioned, many failed to at all exhibit much of a human touch.
Restaurant outlets are fine places to visit, though again don't expect much from their service unless you're lucky enough to be waited by non-local staff. Big hands to Osteria Ristorante's receptionist Januka (pardon my incorrect spelling, in case) for her professionalism and another Nepalese waitress. Hari's bars never impress anyway, and during my visit, is shut. Loong Yuen, the Chinese restaurant at the hotel, offers fine food but it's way overpriced for a hotel restaurant without a view, when you could find much better options at other hotels around.
Food at breakfast & happy hour at the Executive Lounge is better than expected, and again thanks to the nice wonderful people I mentioned the overall stay experience was made much better. Managers there including Eunice & Yolanda seemed condescending, and surely tarnishing the great impression the hospitality team has displayed.
IHG hotels in Hong Kong lack much strength since the Intercontinental is closed down for refurbishment, and the Grand Standford in the neighbourhood is barely surviving in this chilling Pandemic-stricken winter of tourism. You would have hoped that Golden Mile, despite the physical disadvantage, would do more to make up for the shortcomings. Rest assured, it wouldn't.
I don't recommend travellers to pick this hotel, after all.

Room spacious with sitting area, bright and clean, free WiFi, provided portable air purifier and detergents for cleaning utensils. Water, towels and bed sheets will be provided for replacement. Variety of meals for me to choose in advance, serving times were accurate. Offer online games and activities that keep me active.

My wife and I have been staying here for quarantine for the past two days. Under the current restrictions, at time of writing, a 3 day hotel stay is mandatory. We had hear horror stories of other hotels, with terrible food and poor service. We have been very pleasantly surprised by both the quality of food and level of service at the holiday in. Whilst the food may not exactly be gourmet standard, we've had more than plenty to eat and it has been excellent value considering the rate for the room. The salad/wrap options have been particularly good and I would recommend them to anyone planning their quarantine stay. The service has been speedy and affordable. Just a quick QR oder and beverages at prices comparable to 711 are delivered to the room within a few minutes. Staff have also been very friendly if we had any questions. The location would be excellent for a tourist, not that it has been particularly important in our case. It is right next to an MTR stop in a major hub for tourism in the city. In short: the staff have been “on it”, the food has been decent and overall it has been very good value for money.
If we had to quarantine again (please no), we would be happy to choose this hotel next time!

This hotel is located on Nathan Road about a five minute walk to the waterfront and the Star Ferry. The location could not be better. As a Gold IHG member we were up graded to a recently renovated room on the 15th floor. It was large and very nicely appointed. The king size bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is excellent with many western and Asian choices. The staff,as usual, in IHG hotels were most helpful. Can’t think of a better place to stay in Hong Kong. It is even easy to get to. Just take the airport express train to Kowloon, go up the escalator to the floor above and take the free hotel shuttle bus. (K3). The Holiday Inn is the first stop.

In 1990 I made my first visit to Hong Kong and after taking the harrowing flight into Kai Tak, I checked into the Holiday Inn Golden Mile. Checking into HIGM last Sunday, (30 years since my first stay), nothing looked familiar to me. Having said that, I was very pleased to walk into a clean and very tidy room. Everything was in its place and there was nothing unnecessary cluttering the room. I excitedly walked over to the window and recall seeing the exact same view I saw 30 years ago...another building about 15 meters away.
Needless to say, I did not spend much time in the room. I quickly exited the room and took the lift down to the B2 level and was welcomed by a warm staff in the Club Lounge to enjoy the well stocked self service bar and a variety of hot and cold dishes.
Overall, I'd say HIGM is a no frills, city hotel that meets the necessities of a junior business traveler. The breakfast offers an assortment that should meet most guests needs and it's staff are very attentive and always willing to help.

Excellent hotel for a family! We had a 1 King and 1 double bed room and it was very spacious. I had a lot of challenges finding a hotel room in HK for a family (so many other hotels only had 2 single beds, or 1 king/queen bed), but this one was perfect! The location is very central and walking distance to many mega malls and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful too. There was an air purifier in the room and the hotel provided cleaning kits with wet wipes, mini bottle hand sanitizer and face masks to use during our stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Unfortunately, due to the sudden closing of the Thai borders we found ourselves stuck in Hong Kong and in need of a place to stay for an indefinite period.
We were very fortunate to find this hotel. In spite of our "not sure what we're doing or how long we're staying" situation, the hotel have been incredibly accommodating. We have currently been here for 7 weeks and the staff have been wonderful.
We have had excellent service and are made to feel very welcome. Staff are courteous, polite and friendly. Rooms are clean and well proportioned and by Hong Kong standards, quite large.
I would say that although most food ordered from room service has been good, the pizzas are extremely small and expensive, so I wouldn't recommend them.
My previous experience of staying in a Holiday Inn in the US was so appalling, I swore never to stay in one again, so my experience here has been a glorious surprise.

In my opinion, I would suggest that you may take airport express train to Kowloon Station and then grab a taxi to the hotel. The express train ticket can be bought from Klook at discounted fares.
