room was very tiny, but it worth the cheap price, bus stop to airport located right in front of the hotel, the receptionist was very nice and kind, if you are on a budget than this hotel is the best choice

We went to this hotel 2 years ago and came back last month. The location changed. It moved to a building 100m away. The room was so dirty - we were scared to touch the walls. The shower was not clean, there were hairs on the floor. DISGUSTING. The staff comes in the morning and yells in the lobby every day. I asked them to be quiet but they pretended not to speak English. When I said that English was the official language of Hong Kong, they admitted that they understood me initially. Basically they were pretending not to understand me so they could keep yelling. REALLY REALLY BAD. URGH

Last time we were stayed at another buildin and decided to book again after 1 year. But this time they gave us riom from another building which is 1 block away. It was not good at all. Cause of confliction in HK i have tried to change date 1 week in advance but they did not accept. Anyway Still mhch more better than to stay at Chunking / Mirador.

Although this inn is siutated in old and different buildings in a road a corner to Nathan road and to the Avenue of Stars. Located among shops, restaurants, night clubs, and other hotels, this hostel is quite convenient to get around. It's near stations and bus stands just in front. Anyhow, because of this inn is just a few units on particular floors of the old 🏢 buildings, apartment-like, it's quite confusing to find and the signage/sign of the building names are both small and worn off. The lifts are filthy and the whole buildings are smelly. There are a lot of residents of all ages and ethnics staying in that buildings. I spent about an hour an a half to get to the check-in counter wandering around hopelessly. Once I explained to the lady that I had a notice to check-in at another building where I spent an hour to find out, she just said one word, sorry. Once I got a key and found out I must walk to another complicated building for my room. On the way to my room, on a walkway, I met three people looking for Homy Inn entrance, too. So, I helped themeith the way understanding their feelings. Then, the room is a bit small but acceptable. BUT the bathroom especially the toilet leaves no space for legs! I traveled alone so I didn't have to try to close the bathroom door which is not possible. As long as you have great sense of directions and are able to handle no room for legs toilet, you can check-in this inn.

I did not expect much from this hotel because I knew it is just a budget hotel but I was terribly disappointed at the squalid condition of the building (Union Mansion) and the rooms assigned to us. I booked (through Agoda) two rooms--1 single for my son and 1 double room for me and my husband. When we arrived at the hotel, we were asked to go to the reception for check in which is located at the Windsor Mansion. Afterwards, we were led to SEPARATE building, the Union Mansion, where our rooms were located. I was shocked to find out that our room (double room) did not have a television, coffeemaker, and safe when in fact, these are amenities that Homy Inn advertises in Agoda, booking.com, TripAdvisor. The room looked so different from the pictures shown on the hotel's website. The walls were dilapidated; the bathroom was dirty; and the room really stunk. The building (Union Mansion) was also a fire hazard. I complained to the man in reception and told him that the room given to us was not the room advertised in Agoda which I paid for. He asked me to talk to his 'boss' on the phone. The lady on the other line kept saying that it was Agoda's fault, etc. I demanded another room or I would report them to the Hong Kong Consumer Council. We were asked to stay in that filthy room for one night and were promised to be given another room the next morning. The next day, we were given two new rooms in Windsor Mansion. The new rooms were satisfactory; after all, what can you expect from a budget hotel in Hong Kong? If there's anything positive about Homy Inn, I think it would be the staff named Candy. She was helpful, considerate, and accommodating and I like her work ethics. Had I not complained and demanded that we be given the rooms we paid for, we would have suffered seven days of misery in Homy Inn. I would not recommend Homy Inn. Next time my family and I go to Hong Kong, we'd know better and avoid those guest houses and budget hotels. We've learned our lesson! We'd rather pay a few thousand more in decent hotels than stay in a filthy room of this budget hotel.

What I loved about Homy Inn is the location. Bar, 7/11, restaurants, grocery within the proximity. I just wish that the room and shower area is bigger but overall, it was a good stay. Room was clean and staff were helpful.

Was on a stopover in Hong Kong. The reason choosing this place is because it is walking distance to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. About 5 minutes walking distance. Convenient to move around to get errands done, without going on taxi. However it is not an easy place to find. The address says Chatham Road South. Following the address 33-35, Chatham Road South is in fact a local convenience store. The entrance is in fact located in the side road/lane called Hart Avenue The entrance to Union Mansion is a gated block of flats. The reception/lobby is located on the 8th floor. There are 3 lifts.Make sure to take the correct lift as 1 lift serves even floors, 1 for odd floors and the other is a service lift that serves all floors. When the lift opens on the 8th floor, follow the signboard to direct you to the reception room/lobby. The reception room/lobby takes up one of the units on the 8th floor. Booked a double bedroom and was assigned to the booked room located on the 15th floor. Got into the lift that serves even floors. So, got to the 16th floor and walk down one floor to get to my room. The assigned room is located inside one of the units. Need the keycard to open the main door. Also need the keycard to open the assigned room door. Inside the unit there are about 4 rooms, The common walk way inside the unit is really narrow as there are a table top counter for common use, in the so call hall. The assigned double bed room, the double bed is as wide as the room door, with a very narrow walk way. The walk way, one need to walk sideways. When open the room door, the space between the bed edge and the door is just as wide as the door leaf. The attached bathroom, which consist of a shower stall, a small sink and the toilet seat is just barely enough to turn around when step inside. SO, there is no proper table and no chair/stool. The flat panel TV/screen is placed at the side of the bed. Air-conditioner is a window unit. and not split unit. Therefore the vibration is rather noisy when the air-conditioner is turned on. It can be deafening too. Could not sleep well the whole night So, on a shoe string budget and just stopover to go to your next destination, as using Hong Kong as a transit point, this place is good enough as the convenience of getting to the MTR network.

Hong Kong is a very difficult place to find a "decent" hotel. So, this one is a little bit better than many other hotels. Location: Great, many shops and restaurants around, very easy to get there from the airport. The room: Very clean, small, good wifi. The BED is ridiculously small for 2 average size people. We could not sleep very well. If you are a big person better rent a room with 3 beds. In general, is a good place for a really short stay in HK.

There is a poor internet service or it was amazing slow, There were NO Shower towel provided, at least they were offering face towels, There were no cleaning service during my stay not even a single day, The room is small this is of minor importance but the supposed to be double bed as the booking was saying is was the size of a big single bed AND if you are over 1,80 cm it just impossible to sleep you feet would go off the bed
