My stay at Homy residence felt like being in a private holiday apartment. The team is very friendly, supportive and welcoming. The unit is spacious, very bright with large windows, ideal for observing everyday street life, and I personally really love the wooden floorboards – they make the feel very 'homy'. The bed was super-comfortable and there is everything you need – however bringing some personal items for a longer stay might make it even more pleasant: e.g. the sofa is covered with plastic (hygienic, but nicer to bring a personal piece of cloth to put it on), also shower gel and soap are provided but I bet you find something nicer in your luggage. Bathroom, linen and towels were spotless, though the apartment had some natural wear and tear which might be a bit disturbing on first sight, but the advantages quickly make up for it. There is a microwave, fridge and even a freezer (finally I could keep a tub of ice-cream in overnight!) And it took me a while to discover the power outlets under the curtains… I just booked again, also because of the convenient location, very close to YMT MTR.

Homy Residence is a hotel that’s more like serviced apartments. The place is run very well, organised, clean, helpful, has all things you need in your room. Very comfortable stay here and will definitely return and recommend to anyone long term or short term stays . Great Air-conditioning!

first off, it's an aparthotel with generous room size, the building is well maintained and private, you can't get any more comfortable than this compare to all the accommodations available at the similar price range. The staffs are super friendly and helpful, basic daily fresh towels, mineral waters supply, a cosy share lounge with refreshments on the 1st floor next to the reception office, which offer additions space to work if you don't feel like getting out. It's a perfect option for both short and extended stay definitely. the area is also full of hidden gems and surprises for both locals and tourists, with temple st night market and Nathan road just around the corner. If anything to complain, perhaps the lower floor might be a bit noisy during the day when traffic is heavy. otherwise, I'd say it's the best home away from home.

The reviews were great on the other websites I checked.... but great for what? This is my 3rd hotel and what a let down. My first one was in Hong Kong Island /Tin Hau, second one, my favorite in Tsim Sha Tsui, both great 4 star hotels for less than what I paid for Homy residence. The area of the hotel is good, near some attractions, steps away from public transport. The noise insulation from the road is poor, the room itself is feeling old, very few plugs for your electronics. No fancy soap or fancy anything for that matter. On the plus side the place is clean, spotless linen and towels, spacious, plenty of closet space and has a kitchen area with 2 plates!!!!!. The bed leaves a lot to desire, way too firm, you can feel the springs and the pillows were horrible, I used the towels from the bathroom to make a makeshift pillow. The A/C barely cools down the room, mostly a fan. In the morning the smell of food coming from the ventilation fan in the bathroom was overwhelming. It was mostly quiet at night but if you have neighbors you will hear everything... mine, a couple with a young child were singing the theme song from Titanic - LOL- was kinda funny but also glad it only lasted 30 min. Also strange they have the Tripadvisor sticker on the door.... how? I'm one of the first person to review them!?!? Great restaurant at walking distance is Manakamana the Nepali/Indian restaurant (they are moving to 107 temple street in December just a few shops down from their present location) food is incredible, 10 times better than the street food you will, find on Temple street and of course Mammy pancake at the end of the market for the the egg puffs. Check my other reviews before you book, personally I feel that I was deceived by the 4 star class hotel which it's definitely not (HK 3 stars/US 2 stars at best). After 2 restless nights I decided to book another hotel, the idea of another sleepless night before the long flight home was unbearable . FYI...I enjoyed the area of Hong Kong Island better than Kowloon , it has better restaurants and is more cosmopolitan but everything is so close via buses, metro or even ferries that where you stay isn't a big deal maybe even stay further out for a great hotel for 1/2 the prices near the center. Also 12 days in HK and no real issues with protestors, some early metro/buses closure (10pm ish) and a few lines were close because of vandalism. I recommend to download the MTR app to keep up with the daily changes.

Clean and tidy. Had a two bedroom unit but the second bedroom was in the lounge with a curtain separating it though place still roomy. Bathroom was a reasonable size. Had cooking facilities but no pots or pans.
