True to it’s namesake, the St Regis Hong Kong has old world grandeur, but with an elegant, modern luxury feel. Absolutely beautiful. Love this hotel. Staff throughout the hotel provided us with first class and knowledgeable services. Butler team was incredibly helpful, and seemed to be capable of doing everything imaginable a guest could need from unpacking and pressing garments, to serving complimentary in room coffee or tea, and handling all sorts of special requests. Oleg, Lydia, and Jonathan were some of the butler team members we truly appreciated. Oleg even reached out to us by email before our arrival, and went to great lengths to help make sure our stay was extra perfect. We are truly thankful to him and the entire team. Rooms are gorgeous, spacious, and well appointed. Bathrooms are chic, and well stocked with premium amenities and deluxe brands like Frette towels and slippers, Elemis toiletries, and Dyson hairdryers. The bed was extremely comfortable and helped give us a blissful and restful night’s sleep. Housekeeping was thorough, yet non intrusive and kept our room spotless and comfortable. We happened to be celebrating a special occasion and are Bonvoy Platinum Elite members, and we were graciously assigned us a beautiful St Regis suite which was thoughtfully decorated with special personal touches to help us celebrate. The hotel also presented us with a white chocolate mousse birthday cake to enjoy in our room that was by far the best cake we have ever had at any hotel. Breakfast was a very satisfying and delicious semi-buffet, with Asian and Western offerings and top quality ingredients like abalone congee and 3 types of fresh berries that were all remarkably sweet even in January. We loved lunch at Run Chinese restaurant, and in fact it’s our favourite choice in Hong Kong for Cantonese cuisine and we have dined there several times previously. We also enjoyed afternoon tea at The Drawing Room while watching the signature St Regis champagne sabring ritual. General manager Derek Flint was friendly and professional, and seemed very much at ease mingling with the guests while at the same time making sure every detail of the hotel was impeccable. We live in HK, and highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing staycation and special pampering, as well as for anyone who is seeking luxurious accommodation with supreme service.

Dear HKTravellerz, I wanted to thank you for such a wonderful and detailed review of your stay. I am so happy your birthday celebrations went well and I will pass on your compliments about the cake to our Head Pastry Chef, Chad Yamagata! I am also pleased that Lydia, Jonathan, and especially Oleg, were of great help to you! I know each of them will be pleased to know they made such a difference in your stay. As you live in Hong Kong, please don't be strangers (and I know you won't as you mentioned you have been to our Chinese restaurant, Run on a number of occasions)! We look forward to being of service to you in the future. Live exquisite! Derek Flint General Manager

In short: This is the BEST Hotel we have ever stayed at (and we stayed at some amazing hotels) – with impeccable service and beautifully designed interiors.

Service – every room comes with an assigned butler, who takes care of every wish (before you even know you had that wish).
Our butler, Karry, went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable and for that we cannot be more thankful.
I have too many examples to write them all down: Already at check-in (which takes place in your room) we were greeted with breakfast in our room because we might have been hungry after our travels and early arrival.
Another example: One of our restaurants was located where the protests took place and even though the protests were already closed down, Karry organized a hotel car to make sure we arrive safe and sound at the location.

Not only the Butlers provide impeccable service, also the rest of the St. Regis team amazed us with their attention to detail and high level of personalization. Examples: 1. Every one of the team knows your name. 2. One time I struggled opening a marmalade jar and immediately someone offered to help. 3. The St. Regis services doesn’t stop at departure. At the airport someone from the St. Regis Team opened the car door, greeted us with our names and took care of the luggage.

Interior Design – Absolutely beautifully designed and tastefully furnished by André Fu with an incredible attention to detail. Truly interior goals! Goes for room as well as common areas.

St. Regis Bar – The bar and the bar tenders Sunil and Wilson deserve to be mentioned. The cocktail creations were absolutely outstanding. Make sure to try the Hung Shing Ye – The God of the Sea, which was one of the best cocktails I have ever had.

Location/ Views – The Hotel is within walking distance to the Star Ferry Pier and also Wan Chai Station. Since it has only around 127 rooms, it is of course not one of the highest buildings in HK and if you are looking for the best views in town, there are other addresses I’d say. But we preferred the boutique style atmosphere – it was never crowded or hectic.

Definitely will be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The location was a little bit hidden within the forest of skyscrapers in Wan Chai, literally surrounded by commercial buildings.

We had an amazing short stay at St. Regis during Christmas time. The Christmas tree was so popular as the background for taking photos.

The room was so lovely with contemporary design. We were thrilled to see all the children's stuffs prepared at the bathroom when we opened the door! Bed and mattress was so comfortable for a great night's sleep. Plenty of towels and toiletries provided. The complimentary bottles of water were nice, spring water in glass bottles, which is much more environmentally friendly than their plastic counterparts.
Lighting was soft but ample.

Services at the hotel has been perfect, with nothing to pick on. The staff members have got very sincere, warm smiles coupled with efficient but detail-minded services.

The gym room was super big, if you can only imagine what I mean by 'big'! It is as huge as a fully-equipped gym room requiring membership, with the newest, most high-tech models of machines, including a weighing machine which can scan your body thoroughly to give you a detailed report on your body composition, muscle proportion, detailed measurements, etc.
The swimming pool was also very nice, with controlled water temperature and a unique view of the busy city. You can stay relaxed watching the world around you bustling.

The breakfast buffet was a highlight of the stay as well! The breakfast set was already a very rich meal, but it was more than complete when it came with the extensive, delicious buffet! If you stay at St. Regis Hong Kong, don't forget to spare an hour or two in the morning to immerse yourself into a peek of this gourmet paradise! The breakfast was such a luxurious treat that it just gave us a perfect start of the day! While there were choices of western breakfasts, the abalone congee with dim sum set would be our topmost recommendation! Taste it yourself to understand why!

If you have time, don't forget to drop by at the lobby at 17:30 to watch their daily champagne opening ceremony in awe. It was a relaxation and entertainment in itself!

Everything, has been wonderful, and we were so pleased to have stayed there to celebrate the festive mood. Every single detail had matched or even exceeded our expectation, and surprised us at places where we couldn't even imagine! And the hotel itself is a precious addition to the tourism industry of Hong Kong, with this high level of services.

Thanks a lot, St. Regis Hong Kong, for giving our family such a memorable experience!!!
😘

We have stayed at St. Regis for birthday celebration. The room came with breakfast and in room afternoon tea which the package was good value for money with the service standard and food quality. Room was cozy and nicely decorated with balloons that was unexpected. Also, the tray with face masks, mask covers and hand sanitizer were really thoughtful during COVID-19.

From pre-arrival arrangement, check in process, dining experience at RUN, we were impressed with the seamless and efficient service. It can tell that all the staffs we reached were passionate about their job with smile even covering with masks.

Lastly, special thanks to Perry and Jonathan from Butler team, Alan and Jason from RUN, Eric from private dining. You made our stay really memorable!

My wife and I arrived in Hong Kong as part of our "BabyMoon" Asia tour. We had just left Marina Bay Sands in Singapore where we had a phenomenal stay. Upon arrival to the property we were instantly greeted by the Valet Captain(Forgot his name) as well as the signature St Regis scent thorough out the hotel. The hotel itself is gorgeous, white/gray marble everywhere, high ceilings, just tastefully decorated in every sense. Our room was more than comfortable and we loved the layout of the bathroom so much we took photos as we want to mimic it in one of our homes back in the states.

We travel, a lot. We have stayed in many five star hotels throughout the world. This by far was the best service we have encountered in all our travels. On night one we headed to the bar for a nightcap. I ordered a shot of tequila and my wife ordered a mocktail. Upon asking for the bill, The Bar Supervisor (I am sorry I forget his name) from Napal brought the bill and another shot of Tequila. Although I was not planning on a second shot, I sure was not going to turn it down. He then chatted with us for awhile and gave us some great recommendations.

The next day we had the pleasure of meeting Christy Ko . She was a gem from that moment on. She made genuine conversation with us each time we passed thru the lobby. She found out we were headed to Tokyo next and wrote down a list of her favorite dining options. She helped us secure reservation in their Michelin star restaurant on NYE. When I tried to tip her, she would not take it, instead offered a hug, She was the highlight of this visit for sure.

We met the Genral Manager Derek Flint as well. It was easy to see why the service was so personal. He had a presence in the lobby, offering to take guests pictures, giving recommendations, and offering service where he needed. He set up our house car to the airport without even asking. We met the Director of Rooms upon checkout and she was great too.

The staff made such an impression on us, we asked them for a pic. Thank you St Regis Hong Kong, we will never forget our new favorite hotel, and who knows maybe will be lucky enough to return one day.

This is year of Coronavirus, we cannot travel to anywhere abroad to celebrate the birthday for my love. I made decision to spend our precious moment in a luxury hotel. And St. Regis is my first choice. We’ve reserved the St. Regis Suite and our dinner in L’Envol. At the reservation time I’ve already inform hotel for my purpose and the name of my wife. The check in process is smooth and quick. My wife being first surprised to the decoration of in the room with birthday balloon, celebration postcards, beautiful mini cakes, chocolate, a gift and a bottle of champagne. The design of the room is home-warming with selection furnitures. Everything are in very good condition. All tools provided in the bathroom are in highest quality, including the Dyson hair dryer. We have enjoyed our dinner in L’Envol at 3/F floor. The food is wonderful at top level servicing. I texted my bugler when we are finishing our dinner. Then we have the bubble bath ready in our room just when we back from dinner.
We can feel all the staff in it are serving us with heart and their professional. We definitely will come back in future.

I’ve stayed in some great hotels around the World including places like the Ritz but The Regis is something else. From arrival to departure in the 7 days we were there everything was above and beyond . From the staff to the interior and the rooms , butlers , service , everything was top class and don’t ever think this could be beaten . The bar was like going back in time and the service cocktails and staff were again unbelievable. This is again without doubt the best bar we’ve been in anywhere. We used the pool facilities whilst we were here and again as soon as you got out the pool someone was putting a towel round you . The standards set by all there certainly go beyond 5 stars and we will returning without doubt . Well done to all and there is certainly nothing you could do better to do anymore to give that extra special care to your guests . Thanks for everything

We just took advantage of 2 nights of a dine and stay staycation promotion. The service starts from the off, as you pull into the the courtyard to park your car, and a concierge accompany you and your bags, to the 2nd floor great hall, reception area. A family got in the lift afterwards, and than jumped ahead of us, in the queue to reception, to the apologies of the concierge, no matter, we waited 2 mins, and than the Director of rooms, Daphne Ng noticed us waiting, and checked us in herself. We could have checked in room, but had a lunch at L'envoie booked (review to come). After lunch, we had a look at our deluxe room.
As you enter, the curtains automatically open, which shades to room from heating up from the daytime sun, though electric blinds remained in place. These tiny, thoughtful touches summed up the extra service. We could not work out, how this happened in daytime but never at night!
The room was of a fair size, with a large super king, and a luxurious topper that allowed you to sink into the bed, but with great support.
The bathroom is massive, twin sinks, with a deep tub, that amply fits my 6 foot plus frame, the shower though is something else. The pressure and temperature control, gave you an massage like heated water pummeling, that left you invigorated for the day. In fact, we enjoyed this so much we had multiple showers, where all the amenities and towels were refreshed with either the call of the watsap e-butler or by the turndown service.
From free pressing, packing/unpacking, free coffee/tea service and even a tailored bath service, nothing was too much for the butlers and their prompt, friendly service.
We booked high tea in the room for 3.45pm, and on the dot there was a knock on the door.
Everytime we came back from popping out, someone ran to the lifts on the ground floor to call and hold our lift before our approach.
The food was very good, especially the breakfast in Run. L'envoie was simply superb and matches any of the French fine dining establish ments in HK.
To be ultra picky, no great views, different volume levels on different TV channels but it all comes back down to the service. Daphne has a history of working at 4 Seasons, Ritz Carlton and other St Regis, and it really shows. The service here exceeded very high expectations, and we will return.

The most thing impressed me was the butler services, which is super efficient and convenience! Karry was one of the helpful staff at St Regis, ofcoz there are more haha but she was assigned to be mine. As I am a coffee lover, she has recommended me several cafes around us and from different districts, they are all incredibly amazing. I think the butler here are genuinely professional, they will try to tailor made your requests. The design and facilities of the room is so homey and warm, which don’t make me stressed while away from my real home. Clean and glam!

The location is amazingly good, only 5 mins away from the underground and you can even walk to the shopping area easily.

I also tried their Chinese Restaurant Run, the food are yummmm!! Never tried the special dim sum with Good taste.

I am sure St Regis Hong Kong wont disappoint you !

We had a fantastic stay at St Regis Hong Kong! We ordered limousine service from the ferry terminal as we travel with an infant and from the start we were greeted by friendly butlers right at the ferry terminal. Our driver was great and helped us with infant chair. Tiffany did in-room check in so arrival was very smooth. Room is very spacious and baby amenities are top notch! Anything you can possibly think of , they have it! I absolutely loved how everything is so well thought of and butlers are always at your service. In the evening we had dinner at Drawing room and Dino provided excellent service to our family of three and the food was very yummy. All hosts were absolutely incredible and really made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Also, many thanks to Daphne who went above and beyond to help us with the stay arrangement. The service is very personalised and I was amazed how everyone greeted us by our name at all times! St Regis is a true luxury with very personalised service by friendly butlers and top notch amenities. It is by no doubt the best hotel in Honk Kong!

Hey @xuelingwong! Hope you're keeping well. St Regis HKG does have an Airport Shuttle from HKIA costing 1430 HKD (according to their website). If you don't have a lot of baggage I would recommend getting the airport express and then taking a cab to St Regis should cost around approx. 200 - 250 HKD Else plenty of cabs available from the airport to St. Regis should be approx. 335 - 350 or 375 HKD Hope this helps :) Sources: St Regis HK Website HK Airport Express (Metro) HK Airport Taxi
